If it makes you feel any better, I couldn't find anything sent to the consulate on the date NVC told my petition was sent. it still doens't work. maybe it takes some days more to send the petitions to Consulate, right? Mew, how do i know when i have to send to Consulate forms DS 230 part I, DS 2001, copies of my documents and photos? Will they send me a letter saying I can send my documents? thank you. Never mind about DHL. I couldn't find anything being sent to Brazil on the date NVC told me they have mailed it to Brazil and it only made me worry about it. The consulate got it - and will get yours - that's what matters. Wooo.. interesting question. Let me PM you, okay? Thank you Mew! Never mind about DHL. Mew, I found one being sent to Rio using "expedite iv section" for the reference. It was on the sorting facility on the 14th and sent to Rio on the 15th. Lisa&Paul, looks like y'all got your NOA2 on 8/12. You will probably receive a letter date about 8/28 saying the NVC has received it. It will then go to Rio about 9/5. Oh it would be fine! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Help...How Do I track my case from NVC	There is an easy way to 'track' any parcels sent by the NVC to various Consulates - although its not specifically for your case. It just shows when parcels were sent to your region and is a good indication for you. Go to - www.dhl.com Select Location - USA Point to 'Track' Click on 'Track by reference' Your reference is 'expedite iv section' enter dates From - To Click on Track Once your case has left the NVC - email your Consulate and ask them to let you know when they receive your case - it may take a few days for them to reply - but don't duplicate the email as they do not like this and will send you a message to that fact. Oath or Affirmation of Sponsor should he leave it in blank and only sign it up before a Notary Pulic? Notary Public will fill out these fields, right? Thank you. Has anyone ever been touched on Saturday? AJ1 yes we have been touched last week on Friday and Saturday and we were approved on Saturday (but received email on Monday). I'm right on your tail and will catch you on the beach in Rio if you wait up for me! Another question for anyone. Once you get your NOA2, is there any reason at all to look at the USCIS website for case status or do the status updates end with the NOA2 approval? Hi, i am Lisa. Phil is not coming for my interview. He has only one week vacation this year. And we have to save it for our wedding. But after my approval i am going to him as soon as I can, cause I miss him so much! There is no reason to look at USCIS website after approval because they don't update it anymore. You should wait some days, and if you don't get neither e-mail nor letter (like us) saying your process was sent to Rio de Janeiro, you may email or call NVC and American Consulate like me. They work very well and NVC reply you (it takes some days, but they really do) and American Consulate in Rio de Janeiro will reply you very fast (1 hour or so if you send email in the morning). I sent an e-mail to Consulate in Rio de Janeiro asking if my petition had already gotten there. They replied me saying that it has been sent from NVC to Consulte and in one week or so it is getting there!!! and they send me my case number too. And I also just got answer from NVC by email: Dear Sir or Madam, The visa petition you mentioned in your inquiry has recently been forwarded to the Consulate General. Please allow 10-15 business days for the Consulate General to receive the petition. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NVC email	How long does it take to receive an e-mail from NVC saying our case was sent to consulate after we are approved? We were approved on August 12 and my fiance didn't get anything from NVC. He has been calling NVC every night and it is always busy? Is this normal? I think it is taking so long! You don't ever get an e-mail from NVC. They'll only send you a letter after having mailed the case out to the consulate. Like I said before, you have to call NVC and give them your NOA1 date. You can call either early in the morning or late at night so you don't get a busy signal. Also, it may take some time for the service center to send out cases to NVC and it may take some time for NVC to forward them to the consulates/embassies. I believe the mail things out in batches. Yes Mew, my fiance has been trying every night to call NVC. Everyday I ask him a about the letter and nothing. Well, all we can do now is wait and try to call NVC every day.
