K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresEvidences of Relationship - K-1 Visa
thank you friends :D
I think those proof that we have will be good for us.
I have my passport too (with Canadian Visa). Maybe a copy of this page could be good too.
I don't know what my friend meant saying we could "confuse" immigration sending those proof.
We just want to organize and to help them because all those things prooves our relationship is true.
This can show our love is true and we want to be together forever. :luv: :luv:
If someone else has more opinion please reply me.
We have our timeline now!

Friends thank you for the answers.
So do you think if we send all proofs we have (or most of them), could it help us?

You should fill in your timeline. We don't know if you're sending the relationship proof with the petition or for the interview.

Oh sorry, we don't have timeline yet because we are sending the relationship proof with the petition.

I have this doubt beause my friend said that a lot of porrfs could "confuse" Immigration. I can't understand how could the proofs confuse them if we need to have the evidences. I thought that sending lots of proofs we could help them.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresEvidences of Relationship - K-1 Visa
Hi friends,
I read on this site that we have to send all evidences of relationship and that my fiance and i met in person that we have. Well, a friend of mine is in the same situation (but her K-1 process is aproved, she is going to have her interview) and she said they just sent: the forms, documents, and for evidence only 2 pictures of her and her fiance together. We have:
proof of the flights, hotel, picture of us, flight tickets, telephone bills, e-mails, messenger history and other proofs.
what do you think: should we send only 2 pictures or all our proofs? :help:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A who is the applicant?
Hi!!!!!!
I know we have to fill out the form G-325A (4 sheets for USC and 4 sheets for alien fiancé(e)).
But I have a doubt: who is the applicant?
My fiancé is the USC and I am the alien fiancée.
When we fill out G-325A for me, should I put my name in the box outlined by heavy border below? Or for all sheets (mine and of my fiancé) we should put his name?
Please :help: !!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresfiling papers

I have a question! My wife's K1 visa on her passport expires on the 8th of august. We entered the USA on the 9th of March this month. My question is how long do we have to file the papers for change of status? Is it 90 days from the entry or does she have until the date expires on her passport for the k1?

Thanks for hep!

JP

Read item 9 from form I-129F.
It explains what you have to do (to apply for conditional permanent resident status):

"9. How Does Your Alien Fiancé(e) Obtain Permanent Resident Status?
Your alien fiancé(e) may apply for conditional permanentresident status after you have entered into a valid marriage to each other within 90 days of your fiancé(e)'s entry into the United States. Your alien spouse should then apply promptly to UCIS for adjustment of status to conditional permanent resident, using Form I-485,Application to Register or Adjust Status."

and later, item 10:

"10. How Does Your Spouse Become a Permanent Resident Without Conditions?
Both you and your conditional permanent resident spouse are required to file a petition, Form I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence, during the 90-day period immediately before the second anniversary of the date your alien spouse was granted conditional permanent residence. Children who were admitted as conditional permanent residents with your spouse may be included inthejoint petition to remove the conditions.
The rights, privileges, responsibilities and duties that apply to all other permanent residents apply equally to a conditional permanent resident to file petitions on behalf of qualifying relatives, or to reside permanently in theUnited States as an immigrant in accordance with the immigration laws."

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedureswhich photo is right to start K-1?
We are going to start our K-1 Visa process.
We are not sure about the photos we have to send.

I-129F form says:

"The dimension of the full frontal facial image of you and your fiancé(e) in separate photos should be about one inch from your chin to the top of your hair in 3/4 frontal view."

USCIS site says:
"Effective August 2, 2004, USCIS has changed its requirements for photographs to a standard passport-style photograph. Please see this informational flyer for more details.

Washington, DC — In accordance with language specified in the Border
Security Act of 2003, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
announced a change in the photo requirements for all applicants from
a three-quarter face position to a standard, full-frontal face position to take
effect August 2, 2004.
USCIS will accept both three-quarter and full-frontal color photographs until
September 1, 2004, after which only full-frontal color will be accepted."

Today I took full-frontal color photo (showing my ears).
Which one do we have to send? :help:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP~

Hey guys..
I just recived a letter from USCIS saying they need more evidence to support my petition for fiance.

I already sent everything that they have required but they're still asking for it.

I don't understand what they're asking for so was wondering if you guys could give me a little hand.
I've tried to contact them through the phone but they're system was down...Unbelieveable!!

well, this is what the notice said..

Circumstance of Meeting: Submit information regarding the circumstances under which you and the beneficiary met to establish the relationship (elaborate on statements).

Birth Certificate: Submit a photocopy of the beneficiary's birth cirtificate along with an English translation.

Other: Provide original statements from you and your fiance whom you plan to marry within 90 days of her admission, and copies of any evidence you wish to submit to establish your mutual intent.

I've already sent in the original statements saying our intent of getting married.. I don't know what other evidnece that I can possibly send in when I don't even know the exact date when she is coming here. Also, in korea we dont get Birth Certificates... I've sent in something similar where it states where she was born and who were parents are.. and stuff like that. It was all translated by a lawyer..

Please help guys... I have no idea where to start..
Sorry for the rediculously long thread but any kind of input where be greatly appreciated.. Thanks again.

Send to them exactly what they are asking.
If you already did, do it again and better.
Try to be clear in your letter and explain everything.
Translations must be official (made by an official translator).

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresk-1 proof of meeting
you have to send copies of the evidences.

"Copies. If these instructions state that a copy of a document may be filed with this petition and you choose to send us the original, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) may keep that original for our records. If USCIS requires the original, we will request it."
- item 2 E instructions petition for alien fiance(e).

May I scan and print (in color laser printer) some of my documents to send as evidence? It is because some documents are not good in common black and white (Xerox) copies.

If you had to use an additional sheet to answer a question, it's 1 attachment sheet for each sheet in the form. Well, that's what I did at least. :)

Thank you Cassie!!! :)
I know this is another silly question, but how did you attach those sheets? May I use a clip?

Hi everybody!
I have a doubt with my attachment to form G-325A.
I am going to send this form to my fiance in 4 sheets. Do I have to attach one additional sheet to each G-325A sheet? or only one attachment sheet?
Thank you. :)
