Just a date I will thtow out there. How about 9/11 It is coming up and many people around the world have felt the crush of this terible terrorism attack on humanity itelf. Just a prayer for human understanding between each other and not a belief of killing themselves while killing others gives them Holy Martyrdome. Just my thought!

I did not. I signed my name in the signature for Part "D" which is the only place there is for me to sign on the I-29F. The only other place to sign would be in "Part E. Not when u start K-1, only after your I-129F is approved you need to send your fiancee Affidavit of Support, if you don't meet the requirements you will need co-sponsor. Not a worry for now at the beggining of your process. Good luck. good.gif

You should have started CR-1 Petition for Relative instead of K-1.

I think 20 times or more. LOL

And so did my husband [fiance back then]. And he kept a copy of everything. Everything went well, thank God, just got 1 RFE for IMBRA [this started in tyhe middle of our process lol].

We did the same for my AOS. Everything well [but my fingerprints =/].

And where did I say there is one "easy" Embassy? The Consulate in Rio de Janeiro is just like the others and NO, it's not an obligation for the USC attend to the interview. And I even heard that some USCs were even denied to enter. So, it's up to each one that knows how is their situation going.

Jealous folks or people in pain from their own wait may give you grief about this quick approval, now and later. Deflect them with the quite plausible answer of "Perhaps ours was picked up off the stack and used as an example file when a new adjudicator was being trained."

Now, prepare THOROUGHLY for the embassy -- read the reviews, paying particular attention to the horror stories, and get MORE than enough evidence together (overkill is NEVER overkill). The USC's not being there can be a "make or break" issue, even if nothing is ever said about it by the consul.

Sure... it's kind of common sense that, if you want to get married, you have enough photos, family photos, emails, phone calls... I truly think that all information they ask, its so easy if you are in a relationship, so why make it hard? I would make an album if they let me haha but I have sent 8 photos on our I-129F, from different years and also photos with family.

Why don't you wait for the letter, then see what it says and find out if you still can do something with this application?
If you can, maybe you should get an advice from an immigration attorney.

If there's nothing you can do about this application, take a break, go on vacation with your fiance(e), and try filing again after some time. This would keep you and your love together and next time you file, do the best research you can and, if you're not so good with that, hire an attorney.

Well, my fiance lives in Michigan. Do you know this could make K-1 faster for us?
My denied visas was because the first time I didn't take documents that I had to take (they want to know how much is your salary, bank accounts, credit cards etc) but the travel agency didn't say me anything, so I was was not ready for the interview. They understood that I could not travel because of my lack of adequate ties to my country. Next times I showed them all my documents but it was late because when you have a denial it is hard to get a visa. When I got visa to Canada I didn't have any problem because I already knew what I had to do (to show all my documents) and then I got it with no problems.
Ah please, another question: should I say something about these denials if they don't ask me about this at the consulate?

Hi friends.
I would like to know about K-1 visa chances to someone that had denied visas in the past.
This is what happened:
I had denied visas in the past (tourist visas). It is a long history. I wanted to go to Disney since I was a child and my uncle and his family went to there and didn't invite me. :( Then I looked for the first travel agency and they only said to me: ah go to consulate and get a tourist visa. And I, so stupid, went to consulate without talking to anyone that could help me. The result was: I didn't take documents (important documents) that I had to show and my visa was denied. Some months later I tried again (now with all the documents) but it was denied again (because when they deny your first you should wait for at least 1 year). And the problem is: my uncle said me: "You will never get it!" and laughed. And my aunt said: "Who are you? You are single and can't go to Disney. Don't compare yourfelf with me, a wife with a family." And she said I would be received as a "b****" there (sorry for the word). This is why I wanted that visa in my passport. I didn't care with the travel anymore i just wanted the visa to make them to swallow it. I tried for 5 times as a crazy and the last time I thought: Oh I will not spend more money with this! And completly forgot about Disney. (The denials was: the first in 2002 and the last in aug 2003).
But in June 2004 I knew my friance. We met in person and it was wonderful. He is cool and all that i like. He makes me happy as anyone else. And I will do anything to be with him. :luv: :luv:
The question is: may those denials be a risk for us? Our plan is: he comes here and marry me and file for CR-1 (and after K-3) int the US (because since las June we can't file for CR-1 in Rio de Janeiro). But we read that K-1 could be faster than CR-1 and K-3. So we need to know about our chances with K-1.
If someone knows about this or had an experience like this, please help us.

Hi, there. My fiance will file K1 visa for me in june, and i've started getting all worried and nervous about it. We've met twice in 18 months and have lots of proof of our relationship but i still feel worried.
I guess main concern is that I had 3 denials of visas from Nov/04 to June 05, one was tourist visa and the other two were medical. There is the fact that i come from a Latin American country (El Salvador), and i've heard that your chances of getting K1 visa depends on the country you come from. There's a third concern, should my income here in my country be an issue? I don't know, i'm just worried already. If there's anyone who can help me clear my doubts, please do, i will greatly appreciate it.

I posted my doubts here too because I had 5 tourist visas denied (between 2002 and 2003).
my fiance wants to file K-1 visa. He said everyhting will be ok.
And many friends here said one visa (tourist) has not with anther one (k-1).
well, we have to try because it is not easy to be far from our love.
