K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NVC email	How long does it take to receive an e-mail from NVC saying our case was sent to consulate after we are approved? We were approved on August 12 and my fiance didn't get anything from NVC. He has been calling NVC every night and it is always busy? Is this normal? I think it is taking so long! You don't ever get an e-mail from NVC. They'll only send you a letter after having mailed the case out to the consulate. Like I said before, you have to call NVC and give them your NOA1 date. You can call either early in the morning or late at night so you don't get a busy signal. Also, it may take some time for the service center to send out cases to NVC and it may take some time for NVC to forward them to the consulates/embassies. I believe the mail things out in batches. Yes Mew, my fiance has been trying every night to call NVC. Everyday I ask him a about the letter and nothing. Well, all we can do now is wait and try to call NVC every day. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NVC email	I got my letter pretty quickly, like 3 days, but there wasn't much action going on when i was approved. I think that is why it was so quick. Approval was on 23rd. NVC got case on 27th. Sent to consulate on 30th. But after that no news since July10th. It is like drought. yea, it was fast! anyway, is that your baby? what a beautiful baby!!! I am sorry I couldnt get the stepson thing. Is it reffered to us? the stepson's thing is to Java. ohh ok. Yes she is our daughter>mine+fince/wife. Thnx for the praising. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	forms and typing in	I am sending my fiance "American" 8.5 x 11 inch paper so that she can print on that, rather than A4 used elsewhere in the world. I don't know if this really matters. Any clues from anyone else? Tom I used 8.5 x 11 inch paper - I guess it matters inasmuch as they have to file the forms and A4 paper wouldn't be as good - the margins would get out of the file. does 8.5 X 11 inch paper mean "letter"? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	woohoo, they receive my case today.	hi gang, I just emailed the Rio embassy (by the way, it is way easier to email them than calling them) and receive the reply within 30 minutes. They just receive my case from the NVC today and ready to sent the packet 3 to my girl next week. We are on the right track! American Consulate in Rio works very well! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC sending to NVC	I've tried emailing a couple of times but no reply. Ed called the CSC a while ago and they said that they would send him a letter once it had been forwarded to the embassy in London. I shall get him to call again... CSC will likely not give you the info you need. Ask your fiance to call NVC either early in the morning or late at night. If you guys try to e-mail NVC again (they do reply, but it takes a few days), mention the NOA1 number. emailing NVC really works!! (it took 3 days to them to reply me) I also sent an e-mail to Consulate and they sent me information about our process and our case number. I know this question has probably been posted before so please forgive me. I sent my petition in last wednesday. My check has not hit the bank yet nor have I gotten anything in the mail. I thought they cashed your check pretty fast at least to get your money. Does this seem normal. Thanks as always. For us, it took only one day! but it can take until 1 month. And we pray CSC will move faster at least this time! , crilvsk you may call NVC or send an email to nvcinquiry@state.gov. It takes some days to get the reply, but they do. We were supposed to apply that to nebraska centre but we heard they only deal with k3 visa. they are trasferring all k1 cases to california centre. can anyone tell us to which cetre we should apply for k1 visa ? we are confused. pls help. You apply at the Service Center in your area. From what you said, that is Nebraska. Where Nebraska sends the application after that is out of your control and completely in the hands of the Nebraska Svc Senter. I live in Texas, I sent our K1 app to TSC. They sent it to California! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	GOD BLESS EMAIL	IT WAS LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AN I WAS CHECKING MY EMAIL WHEN I SAW THE EMAIL FROM IMMIGRATION. I DIDNT HESITATE TO OPEN IT I FIGURED, OH WELL WHATEVER IT IS, IT IS, YIPPEEEEE. [size=7]WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!! I QUICKLY CALL MY MOM IN NY BUT I DONT GET AN ANSWER SO I DECIDE TO CALL MY FIANCE SEAN IN JAMAICA. WHEN I TOLD HIM THE NEWS HE WAS SO EXCITED. HETOLD ME OVER AND OVER HOW WE GONNA HAVE A GREAT LIFE TOGETHER. WOWO THEN MY MOM CALLED AND WE TALKED ON THE PHONE TILL 3 AM. THIS IS SO GREAT. NOW I GOT A FEW QUESTIONS....1 WHAT IS NEXT? 2. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE APPROXIMATELY FOR HIM TO ARRIVE? 3. ANY BODY GOT ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS LET THEM ROLL. YEEEAAAHHHHHH IM FEELING GOOD RIGHT NOW.[attachment=2472:attachment] Congratulations !!! It won't be long now. The next step is the NVC which if everything goes well should be only about a week or 2. Then the interview at the embassy. You are very very close to the dream.
