OK..TOPIC

every one that had children in a previous relationship

Is ur current relationship the 1st one after u separated from ur ex? why are they "concerned". Don't get me wrong. I would be a maniac too if my children all of a sudden have another woman in their lives to confuse the heck out of them in regards to mommy and daddy relationship.. BUT do u guys see where I'm going with this?

First one my son ever knew about...said I'd give myself TWO chances at a serious relationship, ie where my son knew the guy etc....If they both failed, would remain single until he was grown....mi still have one more chance! whistling.gif

Ladies... I have a question... maybe a RANT!

Louis has FB and Gmail etc... he knows I log in once in a while. He isnt real computer literate and I am the one who set up the accounts for him. He has hooked up with Lucian friends in the states as well as keeping in touch with people back home....

Anyway... there is the chic in MD, from St Lucia originally, that has been sending him messages... "I Love you", "call me"... ish like that. Louis knows I am annoyed and doesnt answer her. He doesnt call her... but she is bugging me! She knows he is married!!! WTH does she think he is going to do??? Leave me for her old azz?? From what Louis says she never works, just lives with friends and dates men who pay her way.

WHat would you all do? Send her a message, call her? I want to message her and tell her she needs to stop... but I don't want to step over any boundaries.

Let HIM do that off his own accord....I could care less about some woman out there, he is the one that needs to say STOP if she ALREADY knows you're married..

I'm not the only one that has complained to her manager. So, she goes and tells them that I cuss her out in my language in front of a room of people. OK, my question for the day is suppose you had a friend who was in a relationship and for whatever reason, you thought the man was using her.
You have no hard evidence, but you just have STRONG misgivings.
DO you tell her?
Or since you have no hard facts, do you just leave it alone???

If a friend told you that she thought your SO was using you, but had no evidence, how would you react?
Would you prefer she said nothing without hard facts to back it up?

Hmmm that is a tough one for me. I think a lot of it depends on the friend. If it is someone I am really close with and know that she would appreciate hearing my concerns I would tell her...but only once and wouldn't make a big deal out of it...just sort of a "hey I thought you should be aware" type of talk. If I wasn't too close to the person or knew they couldn't handle it I wouldn't tell them anything unless I had hard evidence. If I had hard evidence I would tell...but again only once and what they choose to do with the evidence is their choice and I would respect their choice as they are grown people.

I would want my close friends to tell me their suspicions or present any evidence they had...but only close friends who I am really connected with. I wouldn't want someone who I am not really good friends with coming and telling me something unless they had really hard evidence.

I'm kinda different in that I would WANT to hear.
I would never let what someone said break up a relationship, but I would like the chance to hear what they think is going down, if even to be able to laugh at the notion.
I would be PISSED if someone I knew said to me AFTER the fact they thought this and that....

Yes, a di same one. She was totally out of line. Well, the meeting lasted all of 7 minutes. She didn't know that I had people backing me. Now, she's totally EMBRASSED about her odor. She was told to apologize to me, but she got up and walked out. I told the HR manager that she makes comments about Jamaicans all the time (and I don't go running to HR) to file a grievance. So, now they moved her out of my work group. THANK THE LORD! Now, I can BREATHE a sign of RELIEF.

I have to admit, just by looking at photos even in this thread, I often have a 'notion'.
So far, some have already broken up, there is one I think is DEFINITELY gone as he gets his green card and about 3 other 'hmmms'.....

But the way I look at it, who the hell I am to look at a photo and tell you that he's out for what he can get?

With my friends, I tell them ONCE and leave it.

They are grown, if they can't hear, they will feel.

My good good friend constantly cheats on her husband, she loves him but she says she can't help it.
So I just keep out of it, and ask her to keep me out of it.
Lied for her once when she put me on the spot, but NEVER again.....

I agree, boy do I agree. I've lived this experience 1st hand with my kids father. I don't care if the chic is just a pin cushion, you disrespected me and our relationship, BUH-BYE loser. I deserve better. But on another note it took me awhile to get to that point, I always believed that I would never take back a cheater but when the situation involves yourself and your self esteem isn't where it should be its hard.

And hear what, in Jamaica they have a saying 'tek time draw yuh hand outta lion mout'...Basically saying that sometimes you have to slowly distance yourself from a situation...NOTHING wrong with that, just so long as YOU are doing YOU....

I don't think 'innocent' flirting exists in Jamaican culture like that....

I would deem it disrespectful for me to say playfully something like JG did to her landlord in front of my husband.....I would say something like 'I see where he gets his manners from' to my father in law for instance, but anything past that I don't think I'd feel comfortable with.

While it's totally innocent, I think maybe it's just not culturally acceptable for me....

Please don't think I'm knocking you for it though, to each his own!

I think flirting with another woman in front of me is DISRESPECTFUL...I would never do that and I'm sure my man wouldn't like it.

Years ago I was dating this guy and we went out to eat. I noticed from we sat down that this woman kept flirting with my date and we kept talking about it. So, I told him I'm going to get up and go to the restroom. The woman's date went outside to make a call and the woman walked by and handed her business card to my date. She also wrote on the back of the card (call me after 11pm he'll be at work. When I got back to the table my date gave me the card and YES, I got up walked over to her table and handed it to her date (which was her husband) and told him to read what's on the back. Was I wrong to do that?

Years ago, meeda walk up tuh har and bax har renking rass....Today I'd merely spit pan har...ok ok ok, I merely ask her in an extra LOUD voice if she neva did a get nutting fi satisfy har a night time, and maybe she shoulda try likkle alum

I do think some women are scared of being alone, scared of losing the time `invested`...instead of wasting more time on the man who has proven himself worthless on the premise that they decided to fight for their relationship, they need to leave and start afresh with someone who has respect for them.

My husband is also having a hard time with BUT what r we gonna do..He will have her most mornings since he works afternoons mostly...I guess I have to give thanks for having a job in these times. But i still hate it.

Everyone thinks Tahlia is Kimora's clone smile.gif Kimora still gets wuite a a bit of attention enen though she's not the baby anymore..Planning a date to have their x-mas pics taken.

I stayed at home for 6 months with the first one and a year with this last one..Thank God every day I could!!
His dad looks after him from I leave at 6.30am until 3pm, and then my FIL looks after him from 3 until 4.30 when my MIL gets home. Then I pick him up at 6pm....Was lucky with my first too, two friends of mine from JA looked after him from he was a baby until he went to school...

This system in America is unnatural in my eyes, mothers should be able to spend AT LEAST the first 6 months with their babies at home.
