hi there dedicated... hi dancehallquana
yeah that goal was sweeet. right on time too. i like that about usa, they have heart.

Ear what england isnt rusty, they just dont have that fighters heart, they are triers, not really warriors though. its been a thing in British sports for a while.

Can anyone tell me why customer service ppl who are black have to be so frigging rude to other black folk!!!???? i went down to the secretary of state and asked for a replacement permit. i asked a few questions and such, " i'm doing my road test next week, what documents do i need" and so on. She takes my documents, puts them in the system. prints out the permit. while she does it i see the date that allows me to do the test is like the 23rd of july, whereas i have already gone past the waiting time to take my test. So i ask her " Oh that says the 23rd of july, but my last permit had a different date" i wasnt rude, or sharp just polite and smiling...... this hybrid female canine of suspicious pedigree says "I havent finished yet, wait there."! in this rude tone, like she knows me. I just looked down and said "ok" ( thinking #######) All she had to say was i'm going to waive it. I know its been said over and over again, but black people treat other black people like shi t.

whats happening with "du du's " in Jamaica, its been kinda quiet.?? did he pay the police enough to hide him yet?

yuh deh behind time!! He was caught last night!! Wearing a wig, a dress and lipstick

those jokes got me rolling sus..thanks!

big ups on the new job interviews jae.. GREAT.. can i ask how do u address getting laid off if they ask?? i always wondered how ppl spin those situations?

Not being laid off...what I said was that the Dr very kindly told me that I was going to be laid off due to not having enough business at the practice to justify keeping me. Also told them she would give a reference which she offered.

I rarely share a joke, but this made me SCREAM!

Screw The New Blonde!

An airline pilot finishes talking to the passengers just after his plane has taken off, and he forgets to turn off the intercom.

He says to the co-pilot, "I think I'll go take a sh!t and then try to screw that new blonde stewardess."

The stewardess hears it, and as she goes running up the aisle to tell him the intercom is still on, she trips on the rug and falls on her ####.

A little old lady looks down at her and says, "There's no rush, honey. He said he had to take a sh!t first!"

JaEnglishGirlFemaleUnited Kingdom2010-06-10 08:55:00

Yup, you are eligible - they use the past 4 quarters of work to determine your benefit (I believe) and you have to have earned around $900 in that period to qualify - Not sure of the exact law for MD, but you have been employed over one year and are covered, there is no restriction in MD on LPR earning unemployment.

And, document everything right now - You could easily build a case for harassment and constructive discharge as he has created a hostile work environment.

Sus, thank you SO much...this has GREATLY eased my worry!!!

Half of my salary would most definitely pay my bills.....

3 - JaEng - Sorry to hear about the job - BUT (a) you haven't been happy there since day 1 and (b) one word - Unemployment! He's giving you "time off" to interview, etc.... so that he doesn't have to pay it -- you have been there long enough to collect it - don't stress yourself about finding a job or taking something just to have a job - If he wants you out, let him give you your pink slip and get you out - In the meantime, do what is required in your job description with a smile on your face - He is trying to make it so that you quit and not visa versa - In my mind, I would be thinking yeah, summer off, and the opportunity to work on my photography and travel!

Wow...thought I had to be there for 6 months before collecting unemployment??????

To be honest, could definitely manage on unemployment!

I have just got an enquiry about a wedding in Jamaica for August, so damn......

Applied for 16 jobs last night, not playing around...Feel a little better this morning, but still feel like I've been hit with a sledgehammer.

Not going to tell my husband unless I have to, it's going to RUIN his holiday if I do....

Translation = other girl I work with has been slowly fking me over. Not that I didn't know it.

So she is starting to look for someone else and she'll give me time off for interviews.
Can't say I was wildly happy here, but it was a job. Praying I'll find something before Jamaica.

Thanks JaE..I think its almost a year. His son is 7 and is in school and his daughter is 4 but she is not in school. He used to come and go but he stayed after his last visit which was last october.

If over 90 days and less than a year, it's a three year ban. Over a year it's a 10 year ban.

They need to stay RIGHT here!

Actually, come to think of it, children under 18 are not subject to overstay implications. Do not accrue illegal presence until after that. BUT, I would still have them stay and leave after AOS.

Question....

My friend just got married to a guy from JA that was on a visiters visa. he has 2 kids the he brought here with him one is in school and one is not. They were olso on a visiters visa. If he sends them back to JA will they be allowed to re-enter since my friend will put them on the I130 petition? They have all over stayed their time.

He should NOT, I repeat not send them to Jamaica until they have got their greencards. Depending on overstay time, they could be subject to a ban as long as ten years. How long did they overstay?

Here is the message I sent her along with the friend request. Now mind you I have known her since 1998 and we worked together when I lived in Vegas. She knew my family pretty well over the years.

K, I'm sorry that I didn't get the opportunity to see/visit you while I was in Vegas. My father's passing was extremely hard on me and I was not able to express the pain I was feeling at the time. I apologize if that offended you - you have truly been a good friend in the past.

Her reply...........

Hi P,

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I can't imagine how difficult your fathers death was and I understand how much you were going through. He was a kind, sweet man who always had a positive thought.

We had planned to stop in but did not want to intrude on your family.

All the best,

K

She didn't even accept my friend request..she hit ignore.

I just wrote her back and said. "All the best to you too" and left it at that.

Glad she's out of your life. Obviously being PETTY takes precedence over her truly acknowledging your pain and suffering. Better she's out of your life.
