IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - January 2014	First off, the bar-coded cover sheet goes on top of everything else.   If you're submitting tax transcripts, there's no need to submit the entire tax return. The whole point of the tax transcript is to avoid sending in all those pages of the tax return.   And which is the main joint sponsor? They should be submitting an I-864. Their spouse is then submitting an I-864a. And again, no need for tax returns for them either. Just include their W2s to show their own income from the tax transcript. Thank you so much Saylin! Once you email Lagos they should send you details about paying your visa fee to GT Bank. you will print that email sent and take it the bank along with you LGS number. The receipt that your fiance gets from paying will be used to schedule your appointment online. In the email that Lagos will send you will be packet 3 documents.If you want you can get those forms ahead of time at http://travel.state....forms_1342.html . There are steps to take like your packet 3.   Have you emailed the Embassy yet? Do you have your case# from NVC? You could have been assigned months ago. I would get on that now. Thank you so much. Its a relief to hear that one can now schedule one's k-1 interview in Lagos via email. To answer your question,no I haven't received my case number from NVC yet. I received an email from USCIS telling me my case has been approved but am stil waiting on the hardcopy of my NO2. I read people's timeline in Lagos and saw most of them wait for 3months after NO2 for their visa interview and I panicked. I will call NVC to ask for my LGS no. After you have the LGS number email LagosIV@state.gov and give them your details along with this LGS number .They will give you your next steps on how to schedule the interview online.Good luck. Medical exam	Hey everyone,     As my fianceé and I prepare for her interview date now less than a month away I'm sure many of you can imagine or have experienced the stress/anxiety/excitement of this process.  I have a few quick questions concerning the interview:   My fianceé suffers from hyperthyroidism.  When she has her medical exams done, Im sure they will include this.  Should this in anyway affect the decision of the consulate to grant or deny the visa?   Also, my mother will be co-sponsoring my fianceé with the I134 affidavit of support.  She will submit a W-2 form along with other pay stubs, letter from employer, bank statements, bank letter etc.  Her W-2 form for the past year has still not arrived.  Can she send a W-2 from 2012?     Thank you so much for your help!     Journeying together with you,       Mitchell	mitchpa13	Male	Colombia	2014-01-26 22:12:00

If you take your oath in May and become a citizen you need to use a US Passport when leaving and entering the USA. You can do 1 day expedited passport..so that may help if you are worried about processing time. Good luck! Do you know how much that cost for that 1 day expedited passport? US Citizenship General Discussion	Had my interview on January 15, 48 days past ( no oath still)HELP!	Hello guys im a newbie here but lurking on the site for a while now. So today i finally decided to register and ask for advices and your guys input about my problem. Here goes, so ive had my interview on January 15. Im still waiting on my oath letter. Ive been calling the uscis customer rep plenty of times to ask them about the status of my oath taking scheduling but all of them said the same thing, they keep telling me to wait until april 15 which is 90 days after the interview before they can find out information about the hold up on receiving the oath letter. But they said by law I have to give them 120 days for processing for the oath scheduling. That?s where the problem is going to be for me, because im leaving out of the country on may 21 and im going to be in Philippines over the summer for 2months vacation and to marry my fiance. So today I went to my local office where I had my interview with the appt. I set through the infopass last week to find out for myself whats holding them up. I talked to the Representative and she told me the reason behind the hold up is because of the presidential hearing last November, I guess i'm not sure what it is exactly but im guessing it?s the presdintial election? Anyways she told me some of the people that had their interview on December where still waiting to get in and she said their having ceremonies every week to catch up. She told me march were all full for the ceremonies and that the chances of me getting in to any of the April ceremonies were slim. Oh my, Im so worried. There are so many concerns running through my mind, I don?t want to leave the country without becoming a citizen. If I have to reschedule there is probably another delay and probably have to wait for a long time again when I get back from philippines. Im worried if its going to get delayed again and I have to wait before I can file a petition for my wife, once I get married in june, when i get back in August. I?ve been thinking a lot in the past hours and I was wondering what if I get my oath schedule around may, which should be the worse case scenario, because on may 15 that should reach the 120 days time frame, which is the time we give our local uscis office to schedule us to get in to an oath ceremony. But anyway lets just say I get my oath scheduling around may before the 21st, can I still travel outside the us going to Philippines using my Philippine passport and certificate of naturalization only? And i thought since im going to be in philippines for 2 months maybe i can just get my passport at the us embassy or consilate in Cebu City, philippines. Can i do that? ugh Im in need badly with you guys input on this matter, as I know a lot of you have had the same experience im having. Thank you so much for the help! Once those are returned; reviewed satisfactory, they will send a letter stating when the interview date is and you should not schedule the medical no sooner than two weeks prior to the interview.
