IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2013 I-130 Filers	My case never was transferred and I was approved on October 23rd. I am a May filer. Just stay on them and don't give up. We pay too much money for our families to join us. Call your congress person call them EVERY week. Basically get on their nerves like they are getting your nerves and something should happen. If you sit and do nothing it makes their job much easier to just take your money. Make them work for that paycheck.... I was border line harrassing them (a joke) hey it worked. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2013	We had some stuff go on that slowed us down a little on putting things in (waiting for co-sponsor materials) then we got bogged at NVC on the IV docs of all things. I had the green card and lived in the US for almost five years, then we had to leave. Bad decision. Now we are going back. Yes, headed for Kentucky. Lived in Lawrenceburg and then Berea. I miss it like crazy. My wife is the USC and a native Kentuckian. I have to find work there again - that will be our challenge. Where are you going to be? Kentucky is a wonderful place.   Ahh that's no good! Hopefully it goes smooth for you   It sure is wonderful! We'll be in Louisville. My wife lives in Richmond (from Lexington though). We just sold our house there so we can move.   Work will be a challenge for me too. I'm a little concerned...   I know what you mean about leaving. I never purposely made a mistake hence that is why they are called mistakes. However I dare say that I corrected more mistakes than I made. Often times I deliver mail that had the wrong street name, wrong house number and forward mail after my customers had moved years before. I do not believe that because I made a mistake that it made me lazy and uncaring. I am sorry for your trouble but sometimes it is just what it is.. lots of luck to you on your journey..... Philippines	Laptop Shipment thru USPS	I wouldn't send a laptop to phili. did it last year. Had to go thru customs in cebu. Big headache. Bye the time you add up cost to ship and customs tax, its better to send money and let them buy one there. Philippines	november 7th holiday	i rebooked for tuesday 8th. i rather move it back one day then wait last minute and have problems with flights and them rebooking. Philippines	Going to Cebu	best food in cebu is the buffet at marco polo hotel. The korean own imperial resort tops all resorts in mactan. best place to stay cheap on mactan is lancaster condo. best place to stay cheap in cebu is cebu R. And when i say cheap its also nice not a dump. Marriott hotel is a plus and has alot of western vistors becouse right in the center of cebu and right beside alaya mall. for bohol i rented this spanish villa with pvt beach down to ocean. had fisherman catch fresh crab and lobster and cook it for us. can't beat that. good hotel in manila for interview cheap price. buy two nights get one free is tropical mansion. it's right beside saint lukes and three blocks away from embassey. I have made 5 trips to philippines so been all over. My faincee is travel agent in cebu so she know about alot of places. Philippines	Going to Cebu	well depends on where you want to stay my fiancee is a travel agent in cebu. now best hotel is marriott becouse it's right in the center of cebu and beside the mall. but resort in cebu try the knew imperial resort. has full waterpark and slides. if your looking for a nice hotel b ut cheap try cebur hotel, or lancster condo on mactan. Bohol i rented a big spanish villa when i stayed there. After Waheed and I were married and I left him in Pakistan, it was like someone pushed the PAUSE button on my life. Now, we can push the START button and get on with our life together. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Calling Islamabad Embassy v 3	This is for K-1 but most documents are the same except if married need marriage certificate and married couples wont need D156K , but fiance does DS156 (consist of 2 forms) All questions must be answered DS230 Part 1 (consist of 1 form) All questions must be answered DS156K (for fiance only) All questions must be answered DS157(think this is for males only may have changed not sure ) All questions must be answered ALL THESE DOCUMENTS BELOW HAVE TO HAVE ENGLISH TRANSLATION IF IN URDU NEED URDU ORGINIAL AND 1 COPY AND TRANSLATED ENGLISH ORGINIAL AND 1 COPY Birth Certificate Death Certificate of former spouse (if applicable) Divorce Certificate of former spouse (if applicable) Original signed, and notarized 1-134 from the sponsor Copy of sponsor's federal tax returns for past years ( I only sent in 1 yr but 3 years are recommended Original job letter proof of employment on company letter head from the sponsor Proof of sponsor's assets (if applicable) only needed if using to meet income requirements Passport valid 12months beyond the anticipated interview date (send copy from front to back) take original to interview. Medical exam report ( take to interview) 2 2x2 photos on white background (you will need these for the medical) Im not sure if we sent 2 back in the packet or not just do it to be safe. but i know you need 2 for the medical exam too. Police certificate. We are currently preparing the documents and needing clarification. Please clarify the following: 1. Does he need to mail back his orginal passport, orginal birth certificate, orginal translated birth certificate, or just a copy and bring the orginals to the interview? 2. Medical Exam, is done prior 1-2 wks prior to the interview, so the report does not need to be included in the return paperwork just bring the Exam Report to the interview is this correct? 3. Does he need to send in a copy of his National ID card? 4. Does he need to mail back the police certificate or bring it to the interview? The directions are not very clear. You need to send em with your packet 3.5. Employment letter is a must thing IMO. I will give you that parents form wheneva I go home(later today). Print & fill out two copies. Send one with your packet 3.5 & the other with your SO interview(just to be on the safe side) Do we have to get DS156 notorized?
