I can only echo what other people have said. Be patient, it will come through soon or you will receive a RFE soon. 

For us it took over 8 months before we got approved. We also saw others who got approved after a few months and wondered why ours took so long. The best advice I have is what has been said before; talk to the local congressman. Ask him/her to inquire about your case at the Texas service center (if that is where your case is).
After we contacted the congressman it took about a month and we got approved.

Also make sure you still receive mail from USCIS so you don't miss any information. My (now) wife changed her address (and the USCIS acknowledged the change of address) but they still sent mail to the old one. (Luckily my wife's family still lived at that old address).

Other than that all you can do is wait.

My daughter is 20yrs old in college and lives with her fiance. I havent claimed her as a dependent on my taxes for the last 2 yrs, but she is still on my health insurance. Do I include her as dependent, partially dependent , or not at all?

I just called the lady was very polite , although when i asked where exactly my petiton was in the procress, she clicked me on hold with out asking me if i minded holding , thought i was being shafted but she did finally come back to the phone. Just told me they are working on recieved date of Aug 29 2007 right now could be a few more months till they get to me. whistling.gif Thats it.

Let me clarify, lately USCIS hasnt been sending apprvl notices by email, we are getting them by snail mail, so this may be why it is taking longer to report them on VJ

They are just now getting around to sending me an email that i was approved, I got an email today headbonk.gif . Yeah I know, i received the hard copy almost a month ago. I was told yesterday it was shipped to NVC on April 25. Im just wondering if this is reliable info. Anybody been told theirs was shipped to NVC on certain date and turned out that it was misinformation.

Hey Everyone,

How about we call Fed ex or UPS to pick up our petitions at the CSC and have them shipped to the NVC ourselves. We could all have them there by next week. LOL This is so ridiculous. Im sure the NVC is getting tired of our phone calls. The nice lady i spoke to at the NVC said they arent lost that the CSC just hasnt shipped them yet. Im not looking forward to dealing with the CSC nightmare in the few years to come after our SO are here. I sure hope things change by then, but i dont have much hope.
