* I-864A signed page (for our co-sponsor)

* Original Employment Letter

* Most recent tax return (all forms)

* Copy of PAY STUBS for current year

* Last 3 years Tax transcripts, W-2s

are acceptable to present on the interview day? I think faxing rather than sending it through a courier is much cheaper.
Has anyone brought some faxed copies? what do you think? smile.gif

This is the way how I prepared my docs.
I haven't label the last clear book. that is meant for photos only.

You can buy a clear book like that in national bookstore. the white paper label at the side comes with the folder just flip it since the front page is the name of the distributor. It cost me Php55 for each. The thick one(the blueish) cost Php 69.

It looks so neat and organize.

I strongly believe that one factor that contributes to the delivery of the visa is, if your place is outside of the Metro more and likely your visa will be at your hand after couple of days or even a week.
I notice often times that fellows who are residing here in Manila receives their visas in just a matter of day or two.

I did asked what request form should I fill out to request a Certificate of Marriage when I was at the NSO.
The counter gave me the Green form.. when I read what is written there, it is meant to request for a CENOMAR.
I told the lady, I am married now so I don't need CENOMAR. She said, its really the form that they use.

Now,I came up with a theory that if whether you said Cenomar, or Certifcate of marriage, NSO peeps still call it as Cenomar. Because ones they dig on their record and you are not yet married, They will issue you a "Certificate of No marriage", and if they dig on their records and you are already married, they will issue you a "Advisory of Marriage" a.k.a "Certificate of Marriage".

Sis, CENOMAR and CENMAR, are just the same.
I spoke with a lady there at NSO muntinlupa and we cant seem to understand with each other.
When I spoke with my Aunt who works at the civil registry of Muntinlupa, she explained to me that Cenomar and Cenmar are the same..
From what she said, Cenomar is a certification that you didn't have previous marriage before your marriage.

To those who Pmed me about how I prepared my docs, now here it is gals.. I'm finally done.
Hope this would give others some idea how to organize and prepare your docus. smile.gif
There is a a small opening space at the lower portion of the glass between you and the consul where you can give the docs if the consul ask something from you, these clear book folders I used can easily be rolled up so I can just give the whole folder to him if s/he needs something.

Colorful folders for each set of docs


For another type of docs, I used stick-ons paper to title/label the outside page of the clearbook. (e.g. Wedding Pictures, Call logs, emails, etc.) And I also write captions for each photo.)

She says yes, but they wanted an approval letter. I have sent her your number, I would send you her's if she tells me which phone she is carrying.


The Guard or the lady at the US counter is just prolly being an a$$. Approval letter and notice are just the same. she has to tell her that it is an email copy. I told the lady at the U.S Counter that it is an email copy of the appointment letter, and she noted it on my PDS.

I don't understand your reply. If you are advising against going early for the SLMEC please provide your reasoning for this as those who are in support of Early Medicals have already done.
Seriously, has anyone experienced problems or additional delays becuae they did their medical early?

With IR-1/CR-1 who are waiting for NVC to "Case Complete" like us (All fees paid, All Documents submitted & marked as Received, AOS marked as Accepted, just waiting on DS-230 Acceptance) we will receive the Interview Appointment from NVC so if Medical is already complete where is the harm? Can you show someone who had to wait more than 6 months from this point for interview?


I am not against early medical. Kindly trace back this thread and you'll see I am very much in favor on that. Some peeps here have PMed me asking if its a good idea to take it early. Answer is YES! Take it now, get over with it and just wait until your interview comes and bring the pink stuff.

My last words to my fellows here, are-----

You can already take your early medical if you have the NOA2(approval notice) or Appointment letter and bring the following :
?passport,
?4 pcs 2x2 pictures with white background
?$213 (P10,500 at least) for the medical fee.
?liquids/biscuits so you have something eat from time to time.
?a jacket (some of my friends told me that its cold inside St. Lukes), and music player to kill the time.

Let us stand out on our reasoning. Sister, there must a reason why you said she shouldn't take an early medical without the appointment letter. Please let us know why?

She is already in NVC and got the NOA2, she can even run to St Lukes, 1 sec after she got it and have her medical.
Its not goin to cause her any trouble. she just won't have her passport with her for a long time, not until her visa is delivered.

If you finish your medical and interview soon before you hit 7 months, you can still travel.
My cousin here in VJ, Bratikicks was allowed to travel even she is 7 mons pregnant so you can give birth to your baby in the states and not go through with CRBA. Good luck!

well, Amy is my friend and she had her medical in advance
she just showed her NOA2 and the NVC letter with the manila case number to
the security personel there at St.lukes.. and 10,480 pesos fee(bring 10,500).
they asked her about her appointment letter she just said no
appointment yet.. they allowed her..presto! she had her medical.

and also Sheila.. her VJ name is topaz..
we were together when she had her medical.. she doesnt have an embassy letter and appointment
letter because their paper that time was stuck at NVC
she just showed to the security her noa2 and nvc letter. that's all.. she passed the 2 day
medical and will have her interview on the 22sept.
