If only all of us are in CSC we are 3 months away from Approval. I saw an august filer, NOA1 dated August 8, 2008., And they are already approved. Good luck to CSC filers here... Your approval is just an inch away.

CSC seem to be moving so fast. While VSC has been sleeping all this time.

Hi and Happy Holidays to you all.

I see so many of us are feeling the seperation anxiety and frustrations with USCIS but let me tell you I know it's hard but we must be strong and keep the faith that all will work out and we will prevail.

I had spent every day of the last 2 1/2 years basically with my wife in the Phils. We have a son who is 15 months old now and we decided that it would be too much of a physical burdon on her to bring him with her when she travels to the U.S. I had left in september I brought our son with me to the states.

My wife is sad that we are here and she is there basically alone, she has friends and some relatives but it's not the same as being with us. Being strong is definately getting hard to do as the days or months are passing by. We have been in the system for 2 months now and we know it's going to take longer. The lack of info from USCIS is the most frustrating but we look at it as hurdles, CSC is one hurdle then NVC etc, we just have to overcome and keep pushing along.

We do the web cam and skype thing a few times a day every day but it's still not the same. My wife had a mini meltdown today of sadness and after calming her I told her that thank god it's not 25 years ago when we would be only snail mailing each other and the I-130 process toook a minimum of 2 years to accomplish.

Shes better now, and I hope you all please reassure each other that it's just part of the journey that we have to endure and when we are together as families that's when the REAL journey begins. The journey to always make our loved ones feel just that...Loved.

To all of you I hope you keep the faith and always be strong, don't worry about your cases just worry about each other and reassure each other every day that sooner or later this will all be a memory.

Thanks
Joe & Kate

I wish you all a merry Christmas and hope you're not missing your spouses to much. It's gonna be weird for me, first time since we're a couple that we're not spending the holiday season together.

We can't take it away from us, not missing our spouses. However, let's always keep in mind that this is the last Christmas that we we will be spending that we are apart from our spouses. Next and coming years are going to be greatest Christmas of our lives.

What you guys planin this Christmas? Me, even though I don't really feel like celebrating this Xmas, I'll just go to Church and attend mass. And I'll be eating with my husband on Christmas eve, on cam...

So what's going to happen here in that my husband just have to wait whenever that NOA2 comes in the mail, or keep calling them until they can put that receipt number online, which I don't think will happen.

Hay.... I'm just taking things positively, that's the last resort I have.

Hi fellow vjrs,

I'm so so upset. why? hear this... (*deep sigh)

When I called USCIS, to ask why our status still doesn't show up online, they told me that only the petitioner who can call and inquire about it. Like wth?? I'm the beneficiary. So of course my husband called the ever useful USCIS, why our case still doesn't show up online for over a month already, then this is the dumbest thing ever I ever knew...

..The lady told my husband that if after a week of our NOA1 date and still our case doesn't show up online, it might never be there due to volume of petitions they are encoding online. So we just have to keep calling them check the status of our case, like #######??? what's the use of rendering the service of CHECK YOUR STATUS ONLINE if others can't use it???????

How come your papers was received Nov 7th from Oct 10?
Ours was received Nov 7 too and from that time our papers seem to be in nowhere now.
You got the hardcopy already?

we really don't know. maybe it fell under a desk or something. told hubby to keep the UPS receipt and make copies of it, just in case we need to file an inquiry or complaint. with that we got some leverage

our check got cashed on november 19 and we received hardcopy NOA1 on november 21
maybe the calls after 30 days helped. my husband called several times beginning of november and told the guy on the phone that other people filing way later then we did already got their NOA1. he could prove receiving date and time. maybe he got this officer curious
but our case number is still not in the system so i wonder again what could have happened

oh well, life's not a ponyride

That's ridiculous.. a month?. Geez!
My husband will be tracking our money order today to see what's goin on. If they did cash the money order that's a good sign. However, if still nothing new, it's just 6 days from now until it reaches 1 month of collecting dust somewhere down the road. grrrr. They'll wish that phones should never exist. mad.gif

I was freaking out too but don't worry. When it's 30 days you can call them and request the operator to check your status and give you the receipt number over the phone. I begged them when it was like 25 days. That's when they saw there was an error in the system as to my address. They had the address of where my place is in the Philippines. How they could make that mistake is beyond me, I have my USA address everywhere it should be. I am not worried about the NOA1 I am just praying for the NOA2 biggrin.gif

You've got a point. I'm not a November filer, so perhaps I shouldn't be raining on your parade. But my advice is what it is. It's advice.

If you were in NVC already, you'd be happy, huh? Well, if you were in NVC now, it would be because you haven't been with your spouse for a year.

I'm sorry for my absence fellows..

All of us can say whatever we want to say as long as it is pleasant to everyone's ears regardless what thread it is. What Uncle wally said has two sides, that I myself saw, an advice and a sarcasm. Congrats for reaching NVC Uncle Wally. We'll get to that point too, that our spouse doesn't need to jeopardize his/her living to move to his/her spouse's country. We believe that this process will really measure how tough each couple is. I can say that based from personal experience.

rose.gif ... I feel the pain as what Kath is feeling right now.
I was just talking with her past hour, and she indeed told me what's goin on.
As couples, we indeed have misunderstanding due this stoning to death process, but just hang on guys, we will have our time soon. You should let her feel that no matter what happen, that you are with her in this process. Show some effort that you indeed care what will be the next step after NOA1 and so on and so forth, don't let her do all the work. Read with her, discuss things with her, ask and find out the answer together.

My husband and I haven't gotten that $%#$%^$& NOA1... and we are looking forward to it this week.
If your papers wasn't deliver it will be sent back to you, but it was received, so let's all be patient... and I'm getting good at it.

And I just knew from my husband that if he tracks our money order in the post office, he has to pay
4 bucks. Omg...
I mean, I don't mind getting NOA after a month, just as long our case is transfered CSC. There are October filers in VSC that were transfered to CSC...

let's keep our fingers crossed.

Mailed my I-130 on 10/11 and got my NOA1 dated 10/20/2008. It's at VSC. Just mailed in my I-129F on wednsday and they recieved it yesterday so I'll be waiting a bit for my NOA1 for that.

Wow, that's 9 days after they received your papers. I wonder when will be ours. It has been 9 days as well.. still haven't got any NOA.

hmm... I'm trying to relax.
