I just want to ask if my husband and I are using the correct form for DS 3032 which has the expiration of 2006.
I am filling out forms to be sent to my husband, so I would like to be sure if this version can still be use?
we seem not to find a newer version of this form even from USCIS site.

thanks in advance!

use the one on their website. dont worry about the date too much if it is currently on their website.

oh, ok.thank you.

The things here sis xylide is, I will be sending everything to my my husband all at once ,everything in the process that needs my signature, so by the time we will be needing the DS 3032 to be sent, my husband can just send it right away.
So, I'm kinda blurry in this matter.. innocent.gif

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresTo whom it is address?
Wow, this is so sweet of you Bratikicks.

Yes, we are going to apply for CR1.. We had our joint bank account here in the Philippines . We we're both present when we open an account since no bank will allow only one is present. I went to our bank last friday and I happen to have the address addressed to DHS. Which I believe now was wrong. I will just ask them to replace it to USCIS.

That's so good to hear that you will be soon over to this process.

Thank you so much for giving me this step by step. This will help us a lot.

More blessings to come.

I just want to ask about Proof of Bonafide marriage.
I went to bank last friday and asked Joint bank account Certification. And they ask me to whom it is addressed. Is it to Department of Homeland Security? or USCIS?

I addressed it to Department of Homeland Security, did I had it correct? or I have to go back to the bank and changed it to whom it should be address?

Thanks in advance.

My husband is from Louisiana and I would never wanted our papers to end up in VSC so my friend told me that if my husband can set up a P.O Box in Louisiana but the CSC has the jurisdiction of it so by the time we sent our papers it will be processed by CSC.

Anyone who did this?, or how risky is this to do? Pls share some Pro's and Con's of this matter.
And how can we begin this with.
Thank you. rose.gif

or let me add some more details like if my husband let one of his relatives send the papers for us which is from a state that is under CSC jurisdiction.. will this be a problem? I know It's getting swallow now, but this might be a good option if you badly want CSC to process your papers.

my husband and I will be sending our papers by next week. We indeed include pictures from the wedding and other pictures we had when he was with me here in Philippines.
I instructed him to paste those pictures to a blank sheet and write some captions describing the pictures. this will help the reviewer to have an idea how we shared good times here. And just a tip, when your spouse sends you the G325A, also fill out the DS230 but dont date it, ask your spouse to just sign the first part of the DS230 but not the part 2. this will save you a lot of time, let your spouse sends you everything that s/he is required to sign but don't date.
Regarding proof of marriage include anything that can help build up your case. My husband and I will include the contract of lease for the apartment we stayed here, joint bank account records, might as well include your boarding passes.. stuffs like this.

Hope this helps you. good.gif

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresPASSPORTING TIME!
Hi...

I presented these..

1. old passport (if you had one)

2.CFO Peer counseling certificate ( they won't allow any foreign spouse to use their married name unless you attended the Cfo certificate)

3. Brgy Clearance, Cedula, NBI Clearance

4.Mariage Certificate (from NSO)

5.Birth Certificate (NSO)

6. Baptismal certificate,Confirmation certificate, College Transcript

Note that I used Travel Agency, and they really asked for a lot of identification since you will be amending your passport. And another thing is, I won't deal with falling in line in DFA whole day. Travel Agency will just ask you to have a personal appearance and after that wait for 10 days, and Pronto!, there's your Married name passport.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresGuys, please enlightent us, question for G325A.
In form G325a question for me and for my husband:

For me:
I accidentally put none on the question in G325A "Applicant's last address outside United States of more than one year". Since I already sent my signed G325a to my husband Can my husband just draw a line to the word NONE and put "present address above". ?

For my husband:
Since my husband is still a student,(for 2 years now) he lives in another city with his cousin's house to attend school, every weekdays where his school is, he doesn't have any legal records in this city or used this city address for a record. And every weekends he goes back to his permanent address. My question is, Do we have put in G325a the address where he lives with his cousin and if yes, how can we put it on G325a since his permanent address and the address where he lives with his cousin in another city will be the same?

Thank you in advance!.

In G325a and I-130 forms, you will be asked for your present address until the oldest address you used. In I-130 you will be asked for the present address of which you live together. So basically, just put the real deal of your address there.

Zan and I have never lived together...we got married and I returnrf to Canada...so...all my addresses would be here and last address where we lived together would be??? none?????

Wherever you lived together the last time, let it be any hotel address, you don't have to give out any proofs of where you lived, just its a basic question.

It is required of CR-1 visa to have lived together after marriage (some people do proxy marriage, but they need to consumate their marriage after the wedding), that's the reason why that last address is being asked.

Hope this helps

It depends if you want to submit 129-f. If you submit 129-f then that would be called as K3. K3 is for married couple also but if you come to USA in this type of Visa, you will need to apply for adjustment of status and all those stuffs just like in fiancé visa (K1). CR1 is an immigrant visa.
You can submit 129-f after you get a NOA1. You dont need to pay anything anymore since K3 is free if you filed for I-130.

hope that helps.

hello.. as i read your response here..i got an interest cuz i got married too last october 23,2008.We didnt file first cuz we need to comply first the document needed. But its really bother me about the address. What address shall i write in the form I-130?My parents address where I really live or the address we used in the marriage certificate?....this is the story....before my hubby came here in the philippines we plan to stay in the city cuz of the terrorism cuz i live in the province for the sake of his safety we did. Then, when we filed to the municipality...the incharge didnt allow us to file thier cuz we just only stay for one month..it should be 6 months and we need to go to my province. If we were go thier ....it takes to loong and that might be the wedding date will be postpone/delayed.Since,I have my aunte work in the city,,we used here address and the incharge allow us...and now my problem comes up whats the address should i write?

pls.help me to this....i'm really confused of it..

thanks yes.gif

Alright... innocent.gif I vaguely understand the question but this is something that I can advise.
In G325a and I-130 forms, you will be asked for your present address until the oldest address you used. In I-130 you will be asked for the present address of which you live together. So basically, just put the real deal of your address there.

You will also have to put the date and place of marriage on both forms in G325a and I-130. But you just have to be honest about your addresses.

If you will clearly state your question you might get straight answers you are looking.

CR1 and K3 are being process in the same duration of time now adays . Sometimes CR1 is processed quick.
But i believe all of us here will advise to just take CR1 since it has more benefits that K3. K3 is just like K1 the difference is, K3 is for married couples.

Emo, I have a question for you, since you filed earlier than us, how did you find out that you had the NOA1 already? I seem can't dig out in my brain to remember in any of those forms we filled out that we were asked to put our email address so they can send us notification if they were able to received our papers. It has been 3 days since CH lockbox received our papers, still no word. I may sound stupid but I'd like to know how can we possibly received an NOA1 in my husband's email except from receiving a hard copy? and since we don't have the receipt number yet, we cant track it in case status online.
