To my own point of view, Those who got transfered last Dec they are getting approved now, basically, most of us here believe that the transfers this January will be the next ones to get approved. I don't know why, or how it'll be like that, but that's just it. USCIS is like an institution beyond the world we can imagine.

We all wanted to be approved as quick as possible, and through the prayers we've been reciting everyday, I guess, Prayers is the one moving for us.

Good luck to us.

I indeed smell an approval for us though.
Hope I'm not wrong that we have to wait few more months for our approval.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNew house Number
First, I would just suggest to just take the CR1 route as its a lot more beneficial at the end. Submitting 129-f will just consume your time if at the end you decide to just take the CR1. Anyway, the time frame of CR1 versus k3 are not that long enough to wait. smile.gif

Second, if a certain house number changes just like if the petitioner's house/address changes you need to notify the USCIS.

In your case,

1.)You submitted the I-130 and there are some docs that the USCIS will send to you as a beneficiary, if your house number/ old address will be used, of course those docs will never reach you.

2.)If you will submit 129-f and will use the new address, You already have the record of your infos esp. your G325A
where your previous add can be found, my concern is, there will be discrepancy on your records that might raise a reg flag to the USCIS adjudicators.

So, I would suggest that you call the USCIS,talk to the live operator and update your address so when you submit your 129-f everything is matched.

goodluck. smile.gif

My husband has been really busy all this time, that he has no time to compose our packets, so I was thinking if its ok that I'll be the one who will send the IV package to the NVC though he is my choice of agent?. ( I am here in the Philippines by the way.)

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresWhat should we have to secure with I-864 for my student husband?
My husband and my mom in law lives together and he has been a dependent on her. So we had the I-864A filled up.

So my husband just need to have a written explanation why he doesn't have tax returns. (Copied!)

I see that you took the route of K1.. while us in CR1, don't they differ in some ways esp on AOS stage?
If we have it notarized, do you think its gonna cause us problem?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresWhat should we have to secure with I-864 for my student husband?
Good day!

So here's the catch. My husband is a student and definitely has no income. So we have my mom in law to co-sponsor us.
And we have all the docs needed from my mom in law.

My questions are:

•(I may sound stupid but) Does my husband still have to get tax transcripts etc to prove that he doesn't have income at all?

•Do we need/still has to have written explanation why he doesn't have the AOS components for himself?

•From the USICS site, I've read that we have to notarized the Signature in I-864A, did you guys followed this?
And do we have to do the same in I-864 too?

and tips you can share guys will be highly appreciated.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresAOS question
Everything you submit to the USCIS or NVC has a year to be obsolete from the date you submitted it. If you are taking lil bit longer paying the bills for AOS and DS230, don't worry much. As long as you believed that you qualified for the poverty level. But when you exceed to a year without communicating with NVC, NVC will mail you a notice stating the status of your petition. if its real bad notice, then, have to start the process all over again.---That's the time you'll provide new pay stubs. unsure.gif

Goodluck.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures2yr or 10 yr GC??
If in your visa says you are under CR1 when you entered USA, you will receive 2 yr conditional GC. But if you entered USA on IR1 visa, then you will received a 10 yr GC. USCIS will not consider your paperwork just for a mere look that you have celebrated your 2nd wedding anniv. You have to undergo proper filing of forms so you'll have your GC changed.

I also have the same problem with you. I am the beneficiary and I'm about to send my IV packet.
I have lived in 3 cities here in the Philippines over 6 months. I need to travel going back to my old hometown and previous college location so I can acquire these police clearances. I only have here a police clearance to where I am living right now. My question is,

Can I possible just bring the other 2 police clearances by the time I'll have my interview?

hahaha i dnt know what to do too coz my husband who will do it later nor the lawyer since yesterday is 4 of july in usa so it was a public holiday so by monday my husband will call to the NVC.. im just here was trying to figure out what does mean (instruction packet agent) coz my friend told me that i have to get a new document and send to NVC again...which i already sent..
for your case i dnt think that you have to get a police clearance every place you lived in the philippines becoz NBI is good enough for you, unless u went in abraod and lived for over 6 mos..
my case since in here in abraod so i need NBI and police clearance here in hongkong.. that i think i got wrong form coz i applied police clreance with out notice from NVC but police officer in hongkong they just got the checklist . then police officer said they will forward my police cert in NVC.. so there's no need to call them or NVC.. gulo noh..

haha! ang gulo nga sis. But Anyway, di na lang ako kukuha ng police clearances from all those places I lived for at least 6 months. NBI should really cover those. Cos I believe, all our police stations does submit records to the NBI. diva?
procrastinating nanaman ako. haha

I basically just provide everything I have here. My friend said, It would be better to be excessive than provide more later. So I included my husband's BC and a photocopy of his Passport's Biographic page. I don't think its gona hurt our packet, does it?

About the Photographs, I have seen few posts that they provide, 2 some 3, so I think to be safe, I'll provide 4, anyway, Photographs are so easy to be taken.

Here in the Philippines, the one that we submits esp BC and MC is the one that's coming from the National Statistics Office.
So the NSO ones on the list serves as Original.

In item 21 it asks you to put the number of immigrants you are sponsoring. He will put one in that box. In part 5 © it says to list your spouse if you are married. That is the only person you are sponsoring so you put the number 1 for the final household size unless you are sponsoring any children. We had the number 1 in both boxes but only counted my spouse once. So the final number of sponsored immigrants was 1.

Thank you for that response. However, I was still in darkness since I am trying to consider the example form here in VJ.
it says in the item H, to add all the numbers, resulting to be the household size. So If my husband will put 1 on B and C , that will be 3 in all. ( A. (me) B. (him) C. (me again).

I-864 form PART 5 - Sponsor's household size

Its says there that don't count anyone twice. In the form part 5, the petitioner is being ask a number of how many person he is sponsoring. My husband is sponsoring me. So that means, He will put 1 on that box for me. However, in letter C.

C. "If you are currently married, put 1 for your spouse". if he will put 1 again for me, so this means that I WILL BE COUNTED TWICE. This is driving us nuts.

Any thoughts on this guys? Thank you!

strange coz in my case, when I gave my police clearance to the filipino pre screener, he returned it to me and said that they dont need it anymore. I dont know if its just in my case or they just dont need it anymore coz they get the NBI clearance anyway.

yeah,I stayed in two different cities and I just submitted my police clearance from where i currently reside. The two cities im talking bout is just in Manila, so im not sure if theyre as not strict if you had lived in the province or outside Manila, but dont cut corners with US embassy, just go do it anyway.

yeah, I understand that. I have spoken with few people as well, asking about the same question. K1's though, that they weren't ask about various cities PC's so I'm beginning to think that these wouldn't matter at all. This was also one of the queerest question in the AOS form.
As it doesn't make sense for me and husband at first when we were filling out the forms.

This is how we did it .

A. 1
B. 1
C.0

Why O on the letter C. ? because it's clearly stated there that "NOT" sponsored in this affidavit. since you are sponsoring your wife, don't put 1. That only counts you and her when you total the household size at the end.

And if you have co-sponsor, which will be combining his/her income with you and shares the same residence and will use I864A, put the number of co-sponsor in letter G.

goodluck!
