Hey just wondering I was looking through different case numbers mnl2007817xxx I am guessing have all been scheduled an interview.. Tell me if I am wrong. mnl2007818xxx I don't think have been assigned an interview date at all as well as nml2007819xxx which is where I lie.. Let me know if any one's number doesn't match my thought

Just tring to figure out how soon I will have a date so I can get tickets.

Thanks for the help smile.gif
Tim

I was able to pull up a list of all valid case numbers in Manila with case number starting at mnl2007817xxx of which 91 records are valid. I hope one of mine is here. kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

Congrats! Lucky you, at least you got your case number assigned. Does the website in Manila work to find out if their are interview schedules posted? This is the a direct link from USEM website for IV packet which provides the interivew dates but I havent gotten that far yet so I cant test it if Manila actually updates our status there. http://203.177.135.1...tment/login.asp

Mine was approved on 10/25/07. Called the NVC today they still do not have it. So much for a good new years party.I guess all of our papers are sitting in a crate. The people who handle things like this should understand that this is our lives here not just a piece of paper.just throw it in a crate and forget about it.If it is the shipping costs that is causing this delay then they should just ask us how we want it shipped.I know i would pay for that myself if they would let me.I am sure most of you would do the same.Been almost four weeks since i got the good news and now the waiting starts all over. This is really pissing me off because there are a lot for people who have been sent to the embassy with the same date as mine.I am happy for them. For those of you that have been sent to the embassy already my best wishes to you.May you and your spouse be very happy together. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY

I hope NVC is gathering all "USEM" petitons so that we will be one batch when the US Consulate in Manila starts to schedule interviews. Yeah I got my NVC notice on Nov 10, hard copy and I haven't had much luck either.

Hi everyone,

my fiance just got back to US from his visit here in the Philippines. He found out that there is a letter from the NVC but we havent checked yet what is inside that letter if that contains the PH case number or just a receipt letter.

I will keep you guys posted what is in the letter hehe Hopefully a PH case number. I'm so excited.

Bluebelle

Thats good news! Im still waiting for some kind of reponse at NVC. They havent sent me a letter and I haven't gotten any case number yet. I hope NVC sends me a letter stating my packet left for Manila embassy before Thanksgiving weekend.

hello ripolo,
thank you for the invite, I don't have yet the nvc letter but its been two weeks since i had my notice of approval...maybe i should pay a call to NVC..hehehe..just to inquire whether they our case already..i just hope so..

by the way can I ask you something is it ok to put ZERo in the stocks and bond with the affidavit?

are self employed? I am looking for someone who tell me what to include in my affidavit since I am self employed..thank you again

As long as you can provide Income statements 3 years showing that you make at least 125% of the poverty line, you dont have to disclose your stock and bonds or any other bank assets. You can just put "Not Reported" instead of None. Thats what other petitioners advise to do. Unless you are borderline at the 125% poverty line you may have to show more assets such as money in the bank...

You should of went with Eva Air... They don't charge for changing flight dates... I went and purchased the ticket online .... they even refund your tickets.. at no cost...

Want to ask if visa has expiration too? innocent.gif

thanks!

For K1 visa, it expires in 6 months.. that means after getting the visa stamped on the passport from the US Embassy in Manila, you have 6 months get to over to the US, or else you start the entire process over.

Ok I reread this topic over and over and this is what I found,

"Applicants whose visa eligibility is dependent upon their marital status (i.e. K-1, K-3, CR-1, IR-1, F-1 and F2-B categories) will normally need to have their documents verified through the National Statistics Office (NSO) before the U.S. Embassy in Manila can issue the visa. Those with a delayed birth or death certificate or only local civil registrar copies of such documents may need to have their documents verified.

Did you or your beneficiary pay yet at Metrobank? I plan to this Monday or Tuesday.. its payday for my fiance on Monday.. and I hope she can get this done since we have a problem too as her Mothers name on the birth certificate isnt complete... My fiance's mother has the name correct on her birth certificate but not on my fiance's birth certificate... My fiance says it could take up to 2 months to fix this problem as it has to be fixed at the local registar before NSO can change it... I dont know what the local registar is.. anyone got a clue?

The local registrar would be like the county clerk here. You would need the local registrar where the birth was originally resgistered.

Ok thanks for that info.

Listen to this nice piece of noose I got from doing my weekley call to the USE.. They now need a P 650 fee paid at the metro bank ASAP After paing that fee they need me to send a text to Delbro International showing I made the deposit.

This is the info she gave me:

Go to any Metro Bank and deposit php 650

Account # 7-151-51420-7

Account name : Delbros International Logistics INC
Get two deposit slipps one for the bank and one to keep

after that is done you will need to send a text message in all capital letters to:

TN # 0917-5555-313
USE-MNL case number - first, last, middle name-(branch name)-(dat of deposit)-(time of deposit)-PHP650

Example of date 7 dec 07 day month year

She said people that already have interview dates don't need to do this and she was told to start giving this info out yesterday.

Thanks to Cadman76 for pointing this out to me, its not an extra fee but a required process which Delbros does, they verify that your beneficiary in the Philippines has a valid birth certificate and is sent to NSO for verification. Its actually stated on the USEM website http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3219.html the 6th bullet from the bottom of the page and has a link to http://manila.usemba...ov/wwwfdelb.pdf describing what Tim posted.

PhilippinesBad experience in Philippine Bureau of Customs to pick up a package
I send things to my fiance all the time, and I use door to door (balikbayan box, its only at the most 1 month, people tend to exaggerate, ITS NOT TWO MONTHS, unless you are sending it on a NONAPPROVED US MARINE VESSEL LICENSEE), UPS, FEDEx, Johnny Air (Pick up at MegaMall or delivery to home) and all these services do not go through paying any custom fees, not one peso, not one penny. I've sent a printer, laptop, clothing, lots of other electronic gadgets and never had problems dealing with customs. As long as you know never to send anything via USPS (United States Postal Service). , you will never pay custom fees. Its already stated in USPS that you are required to pay customs regardless of the US laws, since you are using Postal service from the Philippines. Sometimes, let me rephrase that, most of the people don't read or ask about custom fees when sending things through USPS. YOU EVEN FILL OUT A DECLARATION SAYING THAT YOU OR THE RECEIPIENT WILL PAY CUSTOM FEES FOR INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES WHEN YOU SEND THINGS VIA USPS.

Well you go back to SLEC for the results, to make sure you pass the medical exam.

Okay, I get what you are saying now... You can take the scheduled medical exam as indicated on Packet 4 (which is usually 1 week prior to your interview at the Embassy) or as the majority of us, take it before the "scheduled" date. I'ts advise to take the medical no more than 1 month prior to your interivew at the Embassy or the US Embassy will make you retake the medical exam as the results will be invalid if its not within a 1 month timeframe. By taking the medical exam early, it guarantees that the US Embassy has enough time to review your result just in case your results come back late, and two, if during the exam, there are problems that arise, you have a chance to fix whatever problems may arise or finds during the exam...

Thats not true at all. I took my medical dec. 22, 2007 even if my schedule is jan. 31, 2008. So that is more than 1 month for me. I had my interview feb. 7 and I arrived in the US feb. 14. In the US embassy website it says there medical results are valid for 1 year.

Well thanks for that extra information. Anyways, the main point was, you don't have to take the scheduled medical exam as indicated on your packet 4. Civiam was confused about this, and answered that you don't have to wait for your medical schedule to take the exam.

Heres a point made which is exactly what I stated

COunt me in. I got my visa today. Thanks goodness.

Hi honeybear... just want to ask... What particular Embassy phone number did your fiance called that gives such an information that it was already being printed? I have called the Embassy call center twice and all they can say is that its still in process. Im really interested if i can check on the real status because i dont want to reschedule my March 7 flight again.

Thanks and God bless. Hope you can help me with this.

I was just wondering, you do know that you are posting in a regional board right? "General Discussion Area > Regional Discussion > Philippines"

Thats why 99.99% are petition concerning Philippines as we are tryin to track how fast Manila Embassy sends out the petitions to Delbros if we cant get a local pickup... Just to let you know...

Good luck.
