Then a couple months later, we got the visa. I waited at least 8 hours after the interview to really accept the news, just in case it was a dream. I went to see if we could finally see our case status online. Well, much to my surprise......We are in Post Decision Activity and our I129f has been approved! This is such a blessing to our family. Honestly, I didnt want to post anything on here because I feel bad. I love that we got approved but I dont like the fact that others have been waiting up to 7 months for the same process. I know for timeline purposes I have to update mine, but I decided to tell you all first. I pray that everyone's process is smooth and as speedy as possible. Starting to get a bit worried now, especially since people who sent it 1 week after me are already getting notified.. Was your check at least cashed? Can you get a hold of a picture of the check to see the number stamped on it. If you paid by check you may be able to use this number to check your case status. Woah We sent ours out 6 days ago and nothing yet... Those time intervals vary greatly and should not be taken as indicators for anything. For example, it took 7 days for us to get the NOA1. I am not sure though if he was able to asked when the case was shipped to the embassy here in the Philippines because he just emailed the case number and didnt bother calling me since was asleep already. If he was not able to get the date when it was shipped out is there a way to know or track the packets? Yes, you can track your package if you know approximately when NVC shipped the package. If, for instance, they said that they shipped it today (March 1, 2011), you will input the following on their tracking page (http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef) 1. Reference: EXP 28 FEB 2011A (or try it tomorrow by putting in EXP 01 MAR 2011A) 2. Shipment pickup date range: select from Feb 28 to Mar 1 (or you can select a wider range) 3. You have probably forgotten to check a box.. or maybe they need more evidence of your relationship.. or you forgot to sign somewhere. =) I think it's good news that you got at least some answer (well, it would have been better if there were no RFE). My NOA-1 date was August 6th and I still see nothing on the USCIS website nor have I received an email or USPS notification.This is dis-heartening. Probably someone else is reviewing your file at the moment. People tend to work at different pace, so I wouldn't worry much. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September CSC filers?	OMG.... I dont' know what is up with the Embassy. He had his interview however they did not take his passport. They told him they still need the I134 affidavit of support and more pictures of us together. I had only sent a few pictures with the original petition. I mailed them twice the pictures and affidavit. I called the Embassy last week (after emailing them twice and getting no response) and after calling a couple of times I finally got a live human. She said we have your documents and are still reviewing your case. I also have been calling your the department of state (DOS) phone number they just said my case was under review. Then I called the DOS again today I got someone who told me that the Embassy was still waiting for I134 affidavit of support. So I have no idea if the embassy was not truthful with me or maybe they have been busy and haven't had a chance to get back to my case. I know this embassy just approved another K-1 visa this week.
