I was Just thinking about this my NOA1 today since in less then 24 hours i will head back to Mexico to be with my Fiancee, came out the shower and thought it was just my cell phone company texting me that may payment date was approaching. Picked up the Cell and BAM!

"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing." December 31st 2012. Hoping everything goes well and reading the Stats California is faster. Wish me luck, and I hold a Government Job.

i checked the website and it was the "your alien registration number has changed" but isnt that considered as a "touch" sine it wasnt updated and still in initial review?


It's essentially a touch, but with the bonus of knowing the foreign fiance has a number so the case can actually be processed...eventually.

My fiancee just sent me a message that she has received the delivery confirmation that our petition got to the Dallas lockbox on Dec 24th. We are now waiting to receive our NOA1 to see where we have been routed to.
In any case, which is faster; Vermont or Carlifonia???


It changes. CSC was faster for the majority of the year, but it looks like CSC is slowing down while VSC is speeding up. VSC is still a bit slower, but the margin is less. Possibly. It's very hard to gauge.

That's not really info on how it will effect the CSC. Also, the CSC only accepts deferred action applicants from California. Hopefully this works in our favor!

Did you find out if they delivered it???? A lot of work went into these k-1 applications. hope they locate it for you!


After dealing with extremely rude customer service reps this morning (including one who hung up on me), I was able to locate it. It was delivered today. I also demanded a refund for postage.

I'm super glad I checked the "no signature required" just in case no one was there to sign for it!

Also it looks like we're just one day apart form each other! Cool :P

It took only less than a month.
Our status changed on December 7 (alien registration number changed), Finally got our approval January 3, 2013.

no, I am looking at the same USCIS source (which appears to be up to October).. but the numbers are fairly consistent, so I extrapolated to today.. I calculated the data based on the raw excel file given by the USCIS.

it looks like every month, there are about 2,000 new K-1 filers at USCIS.. which means that we don't have the entire population here on VJ website. I have used henna for years on a consistent basis and never had any problems. I use only the red henna that is in powder form from Africa that I buy and mix myself. My husband is now here and doesn't love it, so I have not done it since May. I read a long time ago that black henna could be harmful and so I never used it. If you just do two applications of the red henna it does turn black anyway. Those blisters looked so painful!! wacko.gif

Hi Limah, I moved from Los Angeles and about the heat I feel like I'm in haven I really love hot weather, my energy is the sun. I suppose I have to get ready for the winter, I heard that it get very cold, is something I'm not looking forward, winter is not my season.

I been absent from the forum for a long time, just because with our move to Nevada is been really hard for us in every step of the way.

We filed for the removal of condition on my husbands card. finally yesterday we received the approval for the application and hopefully he will receive his new card soon, this card means a lot for me because finally I will have some answers to some fears and wonders in my life. I will update with all of you soon.

I am in the same boat as you. I'm glad I found this thread because I was getting worried, now I know I'm not the only one. 

 

My I-129f petition was approved August 22, 2013 from the California Service Center, however, it has failed to reach the NVC yet after almost a month! I called NVC last week and a representative said it can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks. Then I called NVC again twice today and they told me they don't have my case number yet and it could take up to 8 weeks! So I'm getting different information from the NVC. Regardless, I will still keep trying to call them every couple of days to see if I have case number yet. ClockWatch2.gif

 

Let's be sure to keep this thread updated when one of us hears something.

Also Noa2 August 22, NVC got our case today and we got our case# smile.png It's funny, we got NOA2 in 41 days and it took 42 days for the case to get to NVC from USCIS biggrin.png

 

How did you get informed; were you notified from the NVC via text or email, or did you call the NVC and find out?

 

My NOA2 is was also 8/22, but I have not tried contacting them yet.

I disagree with what you stated Harpa......You cant Automatically go in a LOT of other Countrys and participate in open dialog for a Variety of reasons like one is NO Tolerance for Anti Country Sematics of whatever Country it is. they Absolutely will NOT tolerate that and I think "Leatherneck" used China as a prime example.We have rights here, and the rights we have does Not extend to most of the Countries of the World. Notice I said "MOST".You have retribution in China and most other Countries. Immigrants coming here can after going through the correct Immigration path can and Should vote! That is what will make whatever difference in the laws we have here.People Vote, US Congresspersons Vote, The President Signs!


But we aren't talking about "MOST" countries, we're talking about the US, where people -- including non-citizens -- have the right to express their like or dislike of government or its policies. This extends well outside the ballot box, which, though an integral part of the citizenry's dialogue with its government, is not the only means of expression for those who are in the US. To say that we should sit down, shut up and be thankful we've got what we do have is decidedly un-American in sentiment.

My ex, when he first came to the US, was unsure about how to express what he found uncomfortable or just not right about American institutions as an immigrant. I told him that as he was planning to become an American some day, he should let rip. He's to the right of me, which has led to some interesting debate, but we both think it's been great training for being an involved and active citizen. He's applying for citizenship in a few months and I think he'll make a great, opinionated and informed American later this year, not least because he's felt free to become express both support and dissent.
