Also, where and how do you keep up with daily approvals for Vermont?? Just curious. For the daily approvals Igor's list is where they are at. The perils of living in a rural area: the government tends to employ people who've got no idea who things work outside city limits. Sigh. Why, oh why can't they tell you what it says, or email you what it says?? That is the worst part of this, unbelievable. I did see a post from someone who got NOA2 1 week after returning the RFE, so there is hope on that front. We just need to get you damn document! His friend had just finished the Appalachian trail and was in town for one day to meet up with my man. It just happened that he was Scottish American and got excited when he saw this Irish pub that sold Guinness ( a bar my now Fiancee never went into) ANYWAY they came in on a day I was working and I took one look at this man with a handsome beard and I was sold! What made it more coincidental is that I worked/ was good friends with a girl whose boyfriend worked with my fiancee and her boyfriend just happened to drop by to pick her up from work and bumped into my fiancee that day. So I asked who he was and two weeks later we were introduced and that was it. We were inseperable. Brought together by Guinness! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Twitter. She saw some comments of mine about a wbgame via a mutual friend of ours, and corrected my mistakes on some math I'd done. Then we started talking regularly, moved to IM and then Skype, then she came to visit back at the start of this year, I proposed to her (by making a video game for her to play with the question at the end), she accepted, and now I'm stucking waiting on a RFE that probably got sent to my physical address rather than my mailing address. Currently getting my passport renewed so I can go visit her - if we're lucky, we can arrange it so I can be there for her interview, but the way the CSC is faffing about with our case it might just be a regular visit - which will be more than good enough for me, even if I'll want to just bring her home at the end of it. Great proposal! Thanks for sharing. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I cannot even imagine your frustration level. I'm pissed off just reading about it. I was hagning out in the piano bar and started chatting with the entertainer and made the mistake of buying him a beer. LOL We talked a lot more throughout the cruise and ended up dating after. I work in the port that the ship docked in so I was able to meet him for lunch. I entered into this very cautiously, being that he is a cruise ship entertainer after all, but he turned out to be a wonderful person who has brought me so much happiness over the years that I'm ready to take the next step with him. I'm giving them one more day before I call the NCSC (_again_) and try to find out if they actually sent it to the correct address. I can only imagine your frustration level at this point. I really, really hope you receive it soon and it's something easily resolved. An April filer I know got her NOA2 about 10 days after sending the RFE information back to them. I agree with you about feeling for those that can't visit for one reason or another. I feel fortunate, albeit a little miserable at the moment - post holiday blues. I just got home and catching up on email & VJ. I had an awesome visit! 7 days in the Western Caribbean...ahh. Way too short tho. I'm feeling the post holiday blues as well. Back to reality and work tomorrow. booo We faxed our P3 stuff from a Kinkos/FedEx store in Tampa. After the fax went we were woohooing and hugging in the middle of the store. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	I'm confused - why are people tracking DHL deliveries? Are you following your i129f from the NVC to the consulate? Or somehow... the Packet 3 deliveries leaving the consulate? I just called the NVC, and they were able to tell me when they sent our stuff to the Montreal Consulate, and that Montreal had received it the following day. Still have no idea when Packet 3 will be sent out though - I think we're supposed to allow a week before calling DOS to ask. Am I missing something? We were just tracking it from the NVC to the Consulate. If you already know it's there, no need to track DHL. Check over in the regional section for Canada. I'm just waiting till I hear from the embassy personally. I actually think we'll get the email when I'm there. just 3 more sleeps!! 3 more! Lucky you! I have 11. I did call the NVC and they do have it. I got my case # from her, but that was it. She said that the embassy will contact my fiance when they get it. She was rather short with me. Guess she was tired of us VJers calling. LOL I was on hold nearly 30 minutes when I called. I'm wondering how people get the date the NVC received it and the date it left. It does suck and it seems like it will never end when you're waiting for NOA2/Interview/Approval. However, my fiance and I have learned to communicate our thoughts and feelings extremely well. I have learned a great deal about being patient and resolving conflicts. I had a lot of problems with these things in past relationships because I think sometimes it can be easy to take someone for granted when they're with you all of the time. I don't think they received the package if your cheque hasn't been cashed and you don't have an NOA1. The address it is supposed to be sent to is written very clearly on the instructions that accompany the I-129F. It usually does not take 1 month to get NOA1, if the cheque has not been cashed it is probably lost. If you decide to send another package make sure you send it by registered mail. Have your fiance ask that a signature be required for delivery.
