K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	That seems to be the case! Finally got processed yesterday, just before the 6 week mark, so just waiting on an interview date now. Was told It could take up to 3 weeks to schedule an interview date(?!) surely it's just a case of clicking a button on the calendar when they've processed the paperwork? this has to be the least efficient system ever! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Went back to work today Left hubby at home alone. Sucks, doesn't it. I had to go back 2 days after he arrived and have been super busy at work with all the year end stuff. This week is much better and I'm off all of next week He went to apply for his SSN yesterday. He had to make a 2nd trip, didn't know he needed his Birth Certificate. Oh well, it was only 10 miles from home and it kept him busy. They said he'll receive his card in 10 days. Now he's studying to get his driver's license. haha Wedding planning is in full swing. All the things we couldn't do until he was approved now have to be done and quickly. Our friends are throwing us an engagement party this weekend. I still have to pinch myself everyday to know this is real. And then there is Christmas shopping....ugh. I need time to finish work and pack my things and process that I'm leaving my family for good. So relieved! I was a nervous wreck. 2 and a half hours I Waite for the interview. But it's such a great feeling!!!! I know exactly how that feels. We had to wait about 2 hours and I was a wreck when we finally got called to the window...he was worse than me. lol A POE date and Christmas together! I WAS LOSING HOPE TO THE POINT WHERE I WAS JUST NOT CHECKING USCIS ANYMORE. AND I GOT NO EMAILS AND I PUT IN MY RECEIPT NUMBER TODAY AND IT SAID I WAS APPROVED ON DEC. 10TH. I WAS IN SCHOCK. I WAS SERIOUSLY SOO DEPRESSED BUT THANK GOD. GOD IS GREAT. THANKS SOOOOO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME. I COULDN'T HAVE KEPT MY SANITY THROUGH THIS W/O THE SUPPORT OF YOU ALL. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND I WISH YOU ALL ALL THE BEST I just got mine Dec. 10th after I was losing hope too. I got my congressman involved and two service requests until it finally happened. You've got people on here to support you and just keep getting strength those around you. Ditto You said your receipt number was WAC and a total of 13 characters. Were the other 10 numbers? I'm wondering if she wrote the number incorrectly? I would have her focus on getting this piece straightened out. Not having the correct number is going to make it much more difficult to track down other information. It would be great if you could at least check your status on the USCIS web site. One more question though, on the I134 form I put how much is down in my savings account, do I have to have a bank statement that supports that? or no? If you are earning enough money, you don't need to list anything for your savings. I was told by someone else here, if you put it on the form, you need to bring evidence supporting it. I have the I134 form and pay stubs. but do I also need some kind of letter from my bank?? Please help. I provided my tax transcripts for 3 years, a letter from my employer and about 5 recent pay stubs. I had the same experience every time I called. Jordan said they were grumpy and somewhat rude at his POE, but it didn't matter. His flight was delayed almost an hour so I was going crazy on Saturday. But our moment finally came. We made quite a scene at the airport when he ran down the escalator and into my arms. Pinkrlion, you are right, it is the greatest feeling. It was almost 7 months ago when Jordan was told he could no longer visit the US, because he was engaged and the first day we learned what a K-1 visa was. We had no clue. Those were some dark days. Then we discovered Visa Journey and started on the path. Now here we are today.... At this moment he's probably standing in the same area at the Vancouver airport with a K-1 Visa in his hand ready to come home!! He'll be arriving at the OC Airport this afternoon!!! Which means its in the post tonight, should arrive tomorrow. Perfect timing! Was starting to panic just one last time for good measure. WooHoo! What are we going to do when there is nothing to stress over, wait for or panic about?? Jordan is going crazy, waiting to book his flight. They told us he should be able to pick it up Thur or Fri, but there is a small chance he may have to wait until Monday so he can't book anything. Ugh! While the Paris bit was an unexpected and rather unpleasant surprise (I live in walking distance of the US embassy here! Come on! Great to hear from the other half! That has to be very frustrating, especially with it being sooo close to you. Sounds like you have a great attitude about it though. I'm sure a positve outcome from your interview will help to improve his opinion of the city. LOL At least you'll be together there! I feel bad for those still waiting, but it always gave me hope to read about other approvals so I decided to post mine. I hope it helps in some way. I see you just got your NOA2 hard copy...things will go quickly from this point on...until you get your interview scheduled and have to wait for that. It was almost as hard as waiting for NOA2...almost. Hang in there, your time will come soon! I just got home an hour ago. Last time I'll be coming home to an empty house. When I said good-bye today I was almost laughing...no tears this time! I still wish I could have stayed and traveled with him. The intereview was only 10 minutes if that, but we had to wait almost 2 hours to get to that point. I was a nervous wreck by the time we got to the window. He only asked us about 3 questions, how did we meet, what did we do for a living and why did we want to get married. He didn't ask to see a singe piece of evidence! I must have had 10 pounds of it ready...lol Oh, and we were complimented on how organized we were...thanks Visa Journey! We're soooo happy and soooo relieved. Congrats to those approved and those making it to the next step. Prayers for those still waiting, I'm sure it will be very soon. I've been enjoying my visit here in BC. I've been meeting more of my fiance's relatives and just relaxing. Less than 24 hours to go for us. We have everything ready to go and feel confident with our package. I just want it to be over with. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Today is the start of a very exciting week for me. Jordan completed his contract and is leaving the ship this morning. He will fly back to Canada today and I will fly up to join him tomorrow night. I'm so excited!!! Tuesday is his medical and then his interview will be the following Monday! So close now. I didn't think we'd ever get here. I know we still have a big hurdle to get over but after tomorrow we wait together! I'll be checking in here from Canada. I hope the approvals keep rolling in here! I really enjoy typing "Congratulations" for everyone and cannot wait for the day one is typed for our Visa approval!! Wedding stress, but everything is planned. I'm with you, I don't like winter either. 30 days, woohoo! My date is one month after yours (if all goes well) 1/12/13. I'm stressing with all the planning too, that and an interview in 2 weeks It's tough having to have a contingency plan in case something doesn't go right at the interview. If anyone from Ireland is looking around these forums, you have to ring the office of Tom gleeson at the black rock clinic at 01 288 0111 for the medical. It's a hefty 395 euros due to the crippling governments inability to offer healthcare at a fair price. Keeping my fingers crossed for all the may filers still waiting for the NOA2!! Yay! My fiancee called the USCIS and apparently my letter from the US embassy should be with me at some point next week, which means we have our NOA2 Wonderful news Brock!! That calls for 3 dancy guys!!
