K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	It's FRIDAY!! Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend? It should be a quiet weekend for me. I need one as the last couple of months have been pretty crazy. Saturday I get to start the not-so-fun task of sorting through my parents things and cleaning out the house. I'm not looking forward to this. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	We're planning for the legal part ASAP, so we can file the AoS as quick as we can, and then we'll have a ceremony for family and friends later on. We were going to do the same, first to the courthouse for the legal part and then a ceremony for friends and family later. He will need to get his AP soon since he will need to leave the US to go back to work. However we decided to go ahead and just do the one wedding since we can use my friend's property for the ceremony and reception and wont require too much advance planning. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Anyone thinking about their wedding date and plans??? We are hoping for December 12th. When I was visiting his family last weekend his mom kept bringing up the wedding. She really made me nervous! I was hoping for something very simple, but I think she's hoping for more. I think I've come up with a compromise. Haven't talked about a date since we really don't know how long this will take, but we've been discussing where to do it. It was a great comfort to have him here. I just returned from Canada last night. I flew back up with him on Friday since I had the weekend planned for a visit before I lost my father. I'm struggling today since I know I wont be seeing him again until sometime in September, but I know I was very fortunate to have the time that I did. He was allowed to come back to the US with me two weeks ago due to my Father's passing. It was great having him here, even if it was short time. I'll return to the US on Monday and then we wont see each other for awhile I'm thankful for every moment I was able to spend with him. Apparently, the holdup was that they tried mailing to my physical address first, despite my cover letter and the rest having plainly identified my mailing address. Sometimes it sucks to live in a rural location. I still have not received my hardcopy. I wonder if there is something delaying this in general. Nothing strange about my address or location. I received the email on 5/22. The good news is that my company sent me on a business trip this week to Seattle, at the end of the week I get to sneak across the border for a couple days with my guy! I put 17th May in my signature as the day we received the hardcopy because the date stamp on the envelope was the 16th and it was sent first class, so I assumed it arrived on the 17th.. plus the envelope definitely looked like it had been in the mailbox for a while haha, but it could have only just arrived a few days ago for all I know. The email you received said you'd get the hardcopy in 7-10 days standard mail, right? Has it been more than 10 days? Yes, I got the email on the 22nd and I guess if you factor in the Holiday, it really hasn't been 10 days. Next week I'll start to worry. When I check on-line, everything looks normal. I know it maybe difficult in your heart as you may love him, but I'm sure in your mind you already know what will happen if you continue with the process. You deserve to be happy and loved, with out any pain or worry. Do what's best for you. He is your fiancée, NOT yet husband. Middle East and North Africa	Calling cards	If you and your hubby both have computers you can skype, and if you have cameras even better This is what my hubby and I use. Plus Magic Jack. Make sure when you buy the calling cards it says on it no connection fee. I used to buy my cards at asian grocery stores, they always sell them. It's a stupid RFE if you answered "NO" to question 2, but not a stupid RFE if you answered "YES" or leave it blank.   Regardless, it does not hurt to write N/A for question 3. That is one dumb RFE!   ...and what's crazy is I thought long and hard about that question because of all the NONEs and N/As talked about on these forums. I made sure I answered questions with either of those instead of leaving them blank...even putting parentheses around NONE in the field for my fiancée's middle name, just to make sure they don't think her middle name is None lol.   Then I get to this question, and I thought "No way they ding me for this. I answered NO on the previous question".
