Stress that the USCIS wait time is only a part of the total wait time until couples are reunited. You said some are waiting 8 months, but after that, there's still more time of being apart.

Kimbear, I just got that same message now.

I clicked on "Forgot Your User ID or Password", and then followed the directions to reset the password. All is good now.

USCIS Service CentersAny approvals for CSC on May 1?

I honestly wouldn't even count the 27th. Sure, people received NOAs that day...through texts/e-mails, but I really doubt anyone was actually working Saturday. When they get the hard copy, I'm sure the notice date is the 26th.

So really...two slow days and not three. I'm hoping they finish 2012 filers by the end of this month, and then a max of 5 months wait for the rest.

USCIS Service CentersAfter 3 weeks... Is CSC slowing down again?

Wow! Impressive!!

Could you start your own thread in regards to your findings? I think this information is really worthy of its own thread.

USCIS Service CentersFor those petitions transferred on may 24th.. They are in texas....My congressman found us the answers

There is no error or catch... The approvals list on igors list now were errors by people who listed Texas instead of the csc or vsc..easy mistake because you initially send your paperwork to Texas.

I can say, from firsthand experience, that it's not always mistakes by members. When I first started my timeline before my NOA1, I tried to blank out the "Service Center" field and save it. It took, but when I return later, it would always default back to "Texas Service Center".

USCIS Service CentersI-129F's on life support at VSC
Any idea what the cause of this non-activity is? When CSC was dead, we correlated it to DACA, but it seems like it's happening to VSC for no explainable reason. That would frustrate me even more.
PandaMakerMaleChina2013-06-12 13:58:00
USCIS Service CentersIs this a real timeline??

Yes, as others said, it could be an expedite request. Or...petitioner may be active duty military...beneficiary's country could be Haiti. There are lots of possible reasons.

My fiancee and I have been told by a couple of people that our timeline is too fast. It's luck of the draw on our part.

Yes, that's real.

Is it accurate? Yes, probably.

It seems like you received exactly what Rob received. I received that set of instructions, as well.

Check out his pics and tell us if that's what your fiancée received.

I'm thinking it's a distance issue with you. Consulate sent ours out Friday, and she received it today. She lives in Shantou.

ChinaPacket 3 format from Guangzhou
Take a look at Rob's pics from his post. That's Packet 3.

http://www.visajourn...s-so-messed-up/

This will tell you what's required for P3.

For P4, I believe it's this...which is also from the CGI website and not mailed out.

ChinaThis is so messed up...

My fiancee was worried so she did ask the bank if they take the documents and the bank worker said no, they no longer do, to mail them and pay for visa at the bank.

Even with the Document Submission Letter and Guangzhou Cover Letter that came with the P3, they still won't accept the documents?

I got a reply from Guangzhou this morning to my asking how to overcome the CITIC document refusal, but it was just to tell me to ask them the question again using an e-mail address on file haha. I was writing on behalf of my fiancee, and I completely forgot that they don't have her e-mail address yet, so they said to ask the question again as the petitioner. We still have time. My fiancee wouldn't be able to go to CITIC until next week anyway, so we're just going to chill.

PandaMakerMaleChina2013-07-11 19:35:00
ChinaThis is so messed up...

At this point, we don't know if EMS or CITIC is the better option. It seems as though the latest P3 instructions all say to submit to CITIC, so maybe they really mean what they say.

I'd say, if CITIC is not so far from her, have your fiancee go ahead and do what she planned to do already. A couple of people on here said you don't need to wait for P4 before paying the visa fee, so maybe she can pay when she drops the P3 stuff off.

PandaMakerMaleChina2013-07-10 21:40:00
ChinaThis is so messed up...

We've gotten past that roadblock, but now stuck at the part where she actually submits the payment. Not sure if there's something wrong with her card, but she's calling the card people today to find out.

If she has to go to CITIC to submit payment, then she'll probably go ahead and attempt to submit the P3 stuff there as well. Some of the other K-1 girls told her she's being given false information by the CITIC phone reps, so hopefully the branch employees are familiar with this process.

She chose Shenzhen as her pick-up location, and I think she says it's about 170 RMB to take the bus there, so saving the extra 50 RMB just goes out the window sad.png Hopefully, she won't need to go there more than twice.

Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread haha

ChinaThis is so messed up...

Was it something else from the Consulate?

We tried to pay the visa fee, but anytime she tries to do anything on the website, it asks her to fill in her profile, which she already did twice. Another roadblock...but we will get through it.

Thanks, Rob.

I'm on my mobile device, but basically, my fiancée is about a 4-5 hour drive from the nearest CITIC. she lives in Shantou. She called the customer service line first.

The girl told her not to submit documents with CITIC. She said they only accept the visa payments. She called CGI. They told her she must submit the documents through CITIC as per the instructions in the P3, even after telling the rep what CITIC said. She called CITIC back and got a different person who insists that she not submit documents to them. There was some other confusing stuff, but I'm not going to worry about that right now.

Today, I will submit an inquiry to the consulate via their website.

I will keep you updated.

ChinaP3 issues
If you need to write Guangzhou, be sure to include the specific CITIC branches you're having trouble with. I received a reply from the Consulate asking for that information, so they can investigate.

Also, write as the Petitioner and use the Petitioner's e-mail on file. They won't respond to your fiancée, since they don't have your P3 and verify the beneficiary's e-mail address yet.

She said she was very pleased with the service at that particular branch. They were very understanding of her travelling there from Shantou and not wanting to leave without some proof of acceptance. I think you may be in the same QQ group as my fiancée. I think they were talking about your experiences today. I will PM her QQ to you.

The people at a CITIC bank in Xiamen gave her the tracking number. She gave them the P3 documents Monday...it was shipped out Tuesday (I mistakenly said it was shipped out Monday from a previous post)...and then it was delivered this Wednesday morning.

Yes, she did follow the instructions to submit via CITIC.

ChinaP3 issues

The IV Unit is declared open on 23 July.

Some idiot posted in the China forum recently about the USCIS office opening on the 29th.

Not the same 'units'.    I always wondered WHY that idiot posted about the USCIS Guangzhou office, as he/she was chasing a K-1 visa and not doing anything DFC related after marriage.

you know - labels have meaning, right?

IV Unit - K-1 visa chasers go there

USCIS Guangzhou - I-130 filers who live in China show up to hand over their I-130s, instead of filing in USA.

Calling someone an idiot...totally uncalled for. OP of that thread was asking for clarification.

Let's not lose sight of what these forums are about.

ChinaP3 issues
My fiancée is a P3 lab rat. She called around for a CITIC branch that would accept her documents and finally was directed to the "main" branch of Xiamen. I asked her to call around first because the nearest branch is a 4-hour bus ride away, whether it be to Shenzhen or Xiamen.

She made the trip Monday and received a receipt after submitting her documents, and then the tracking number the next morning. Right now, the tracking number shows it was shipped out Monday afternoon, and that's all.

I will keep you posted. For you, maybe they will try another delivery attempt soon. You had directly mailed the P3 to them previously and it was signed for. If they won't accept that, then it seems your only options are to hope for another delivery attempt of the CITIC package or submit yet another P3 to the bank.

I noticed the interview prep instructions include the medical/vaccinations instructions as well. I think it's the same, but the page margins are different, so I didn't really read through to see what else may be different.

USCIS Service Centerstrying to understand the CSC

CSC cleared their backlog in one foul flush, hence the 'plumbing issues, now they are back to working under 5 months again! Easy as that! I think if this trend continues to the end of this week and we see 4-5 November/December approvals daily, there will certainly be something fairly suspect going on at CSC. Also they do seem to take at least a week or two to notify anyone of case load transfer, perhaps that has happened and post October cases have gone somewhere else?

There's no truth to the flooding issue, please stop posting such when there's no reason to upset July-Oct filers.
