***********MONDAY CHUCKLE**********

Mawning Family,

Hope everyone had a blessed weekend!

I know I haven't posted one of my chuckles in a while. But the weather is gray today and I am tired as HE!! + the whole Sean Bell thing still has me down...so I thought...Hey why not share a chuckle!

Oh, the head coach of my son's soccer team was out yesterday...so Ken was Head coach and I am proud to say the Bad News Bears of Soccer WON their first game of the season (8-0)!!! So now all the parents want to fire the head coach and give Ken the job full-time! blink.gif blink.gif I was proud of him..he ran around that field like a lunatic telling those kids where to go and what to do! He kept saying "TEN!!!...I WANT TEN GOALS TODAY!!!" They came close...my son was busting with pride for Ken when all the kids said "Your Dad is the best coach EVER!" He didn't even correct them! whistling.gif

Lawny, thanks for the prayers...you always do such a beautiful job!

To our new Mama'a thank G-d that all 4 came through the birth process alright...G-d is good!

To our newest additions ...WELCOME AND FEEL FREE TO JUMP IN!!!

To the rest of the Fam...have a bless-ed day!

Love ya,
Gill

We got a call from Andre's mom Friday night. She was pleasently surprised, mostly cause Andre forgot to call and warn her I had done it. SuperPlus is the bomb. They called her 3 days after I ordered, exactly as they said they would. She arranged a pick up. She had to know the code answer I had given and had to have a picture ID. She said the stuff I ordered was great and she gots lots of food. I find this pretty amazing cause I only had $30 to spare at the time (plus $10 handling fee). I was worried it wouldn't be much food. Glad to see it was. I will definately do it again.

Good Deal good.gif ..we are going to be using it this weekend for KJ...hope we have the same result!

Hey Gill,

What's going on this Sunday morning. Just finished a plate a fritters, fry fish and bammi (what a combo).
JAX I had a C-Section also, I didn't take any of the pain meds, because I was nursing, so I just dealt with the pain. The gave me STAPLES mad.gif WHICH I told them I didn't want. It hurt like HELL to have them removed. That was my second C-Section, but the second time around I was blessed with a beautiful boy. Like Gill said, take your time. But you must move around. I made the mistake the first time and just stayed in bed and GAS nearli kill mi. With my second C-Section I was walking around latter that night. The nurses were yelling at me, but I didn't care. I didn't want to feel the pain I was feeling the first time around. I'm hoping and praying that God will bless me with a second child. It was a battle to get my son here.

Hey Sweets,

I have tried a dozen times to make hardo bread and it never comes out right!! Will he share his recipe??

No problem Isles...

Get into your car and drive to your closest Jamaican Bakery...take out $5.00 and tell the man/woman behind the counter, you'd like a hot fresh Hardo Bread please...Presto whamo ...done! laughing.gif laughing.gif laughing.gif. Ken tried baking it here ONCE...it was like Hardo DOUGH!!! YUCK!! We're lucky we happen to have THE BEST hardo bread IN THE WORLD right down the road from Ken's place!

Yes, I did say THE WORLD!! Even Ken admitted that he had NEVER had Hardo bread like this before! Gurrrrrl, if we get that dyam ting straight out the oven...we know to buy two...cause the 1st one ain't making it home (10 minute ride!) laughing.gif laughing.gif.

First I would like to say Hello! I have spent days reading in order to try to "meet" as many of you as possible smile.gif You all are such nice group and I think it is wonderful how everyone is so helpful...Lord knows I am overwelmed and I considered myself pretty smart to start with wacko.gif I dont know if its because I started this with a "ill never get this attitude" or what but Im sure u will get sick of me reallll soon...Im not sure which one of u it was but I do want to thank the person who welcomed me to the board...It was my first official welcome and I guess I erased it cause I cant find it and I dont remember exactly who it was (I think it was Trewlany but correct me if Im wrong) Anyway the knowledge u all have Im sure will be helpful and thank u in advance...Ok my first question...lol where do I start? I think the K-1 fiance visa is goin to be our route (he would rather we get married now but I told him I thought it was easier to do this rather thn K-3) please correct me if Im wrong...but what does he need to have already before I even send in the application? He never got a birth certificate so does he have to have that in hand before the start? should he also already have a passport? Well group Im goin to apologize now cause I know Im goin to get worse with the thousands of questions...but I have faith between u all and prayers it will all work out...off topic but I get to see my honey friday only for a long weekend but any time is better than none...so Ill be in good spirits for this week now next...lol not so sure

HOLA MT2!!!!!!! A hardy welcome to you!

Look, the whole process can be VERY overwhemling...so that you had the courage to ask BEFORE sending the application...I applaud you for!

I would definately recommend that your fiance apply for a passport & birth certificate ...NOW!! (Depending upon how long a JA Passport application takes... wacko.gif dare I say, get the passport in hand BEFORE filing the 129F application) The process is moving quite a bit faster these days than in the past and you don't want to be caught with an approval in hand and none of the other documents.

If you are going the K1 route, you certainly want to read the VJ K1 Guide throughly before you even start! Here's the link:

http://www.visajourn...mp;page=k1guide

Your SO (significant other...I didn't know what SO meant when I joined laughing.gif...so just in case), should also be prepared to get:

1). The New 'Blue' Birth Certificate
2). Non- impediment to marriage form (from his local RGD or RDG-he'll know what I'm talking about)
3). Police Certificate from Kingston

Those are what you will need the day of your interview. But JA. being JA. just give him a heads up from now! I would start with the Birth Certificate from now, since he has never had one...it may take a little bit longer to get.

The Non- imped & Police Cert should be ok to wait on until you actually get your 2nd Notice of Approval (NOA2) which should state that your application has been approved and moved on to the next stage.

Your SO, should also be prepared to take a FULL medical exam...including drug test sooooo....JIC mek em know.

So, MT2, you have a little bit of home work! First being READ READ & READ the VJ K1 Guide...honestly, that thing was my best friend when I was putting my application together. Also, my personal recommendation...Make copies of EVERYTHING...and yes I do mean EVERYTHING you send in your application....especially the 129F & G325 forms themselves. Because the Embassy, IMO gets majority of the questions they ask your SO at the interview, from those forms and your Affividavit of support.

Other than that...welcome again...IMO, you are VERY LUCKY...this is a GREAT thread with really good people...all trying to help each other! You will find a little bit of everything here...Seasoned elders who can share their experiences with you and new additions, like yourself who can share their excitement and nervous thoughts with you! All in All it's a REALLY WONDERFUL PLACE TO BE!! I for one feel very blessed to be a part of such a dynamic and caring group...you will too! wink.gif

Oh, have a GREAT trip in JA...if I were you, I'd print out a few copies of the 129F & G325a, also type up your letter of intent...work with your fiance to fill out his forms & have your fiance sign the letter of intent when your down there...it could save you some $$ and time.

When you get a chance...tell us a little bit about yourself! Nothing crazy, just what lead you to VJ and this decision to file...etc. Yup....we are a nosy(myself included)...but for the most part..not to judgemental bunch!

Many blessings to you both and shout us back when you can!

Take Care,
Gill

First of all nice to see all the new Mama's online biggrin.gif - Shauna a C-Section is no easy Chica...take your time and HEAL!!

Ok, look I am not trying to start ish...I remember the crazy Jena 6 convo we had a few months back and I don't want to go back there! But, something has been bothering me all day and I HAVE TO GET THIS OUT!!!

I AM MAD AS HELL!!! Can someone please explain to me how cops can fire 50 bullets and MURDER an unarmed man and WALK away without not even a bat of a lash? What get's me so upset is the cops ADMITTED that they did NOT identify themselves to Sean Bell and his Friends when they pulled out there weapons!!

So imagine one of our fiance's is coming out of a club the MORNING OF YOUR WEDDING!! You get into your car and you see 3-4 men in plain clothes pull out guns and say NOTHING!!!!! I'm sorry, I guess my a$$ would have been dead too, cause mi a tek foot han GONE!!!

I think that the African- American Community is so upset about this because this is not the 1st, 2nd, or even 20th time this has happened and the cops always walk without even saying "I'm Sorry, we killed your son in vain Mrs. Bell!"! Bwoy ladies, this is a VERY sad day indeed!

Bless-ed,
Gill

My problem with this is not the actions so much as the excessiveness of the actions. We all know police work is no easy task and a huge precentage of it is split second decisions and very little reaction time. I'm not questioning their use of force....they felt the force part necessary and since I was not there, who am I to say. But, the excessiveness of it is mind boggling. Could one guy not have shot him in the leg to take him down and then IF the situation warrented, shot to kill. 50 shots......Not only was that way beyond necessary....50 shots...is there any guarentee some of those weren't errant, hitting people not even involved in anything to do with this incident........I just hang my head in sadness at the whole thing.

There should never ever be any cheering in this kind of a situation.

There are cases when in the "heat of the moment" split second decisions and little reaction times dictacte this type of reaction from the police ; however this case was not one of those instances.

I disagree with that statement. From the official court transcripts......

... the confrontation that took place in front of the club was heated. The SUV owner, Fabio Coicou, gave the impression that he had a gun, causing at least one of the group to threaten to take it away from him.

And, the court finds, another threat was made by Joseph Guzman to retrieve a gun. At that point, nothing of a criminal nature had taken place. But, having witnessed that provocative confrontation between Mr. Coicou and the group, the undercover officers became concerned and followed the group around the corner to Liverpool Street.

Defendant Isnora approached the Nissan Altima into which Mr. Guzman and Sean Bell, two of the more active participants in the heated exchange, entered.

The Altima, which was driven by Mr. Bell, sped away from its parked position, struck Defendant Isnora and collided head on with the police van that had entered Liverpool Street. The Altima then went into reverse, backed up on to the
sidewalk, struck a gate and then went forward and to the right, striking the police van again. As this was happening, Defendant Isnora -- who testified in the grand jury -- observed Mr. Guzman, the front passenger, move his body as if he were reaching for a weapon. Defendant Isnora yelled, "Gun" and fired.

Other officers, indicted and unindicted, joined in from different locations on the street.

Again, I am not defending the excessiveness of it. Nor that it was a tragedy.

For me, the worst part is everytime something like this happens...Amadou Dialo, Eleanor Bumpers, Rodney King, etc. It just kills a little piece inside of me. As a Mom of two African-American Males it worries me that their lives aren't as valued as others. And yes, 3 cops on trila were minorities. I think it's that 'Behind the Blue Shield' attitude that has to change. Like you said Mich, They DID NOT identify themselves and like JG said..."FIFTY SHOTS!!!", One of the officers actually had enough time to empty his weapon of bullets and re-loaded it only to empty it a 2nd time!

I know there are a few who met their SO's at the Holiday Inn Sunspree. I met Jax's husband and the rest of the band; and I think Jomo's husband worked there or at least someone who looks like him unsure.gif ; and am looking for someone who worked there around 2003-2005. If your SO knows where "Brenda S-------" works or knows how I can get ahold of her now please p.m. with the details. On my last visit I didn't see her so I'm not sure if she still works there or not.

Thanks,
Michele

Jomo says he doesn't remember a Brenda. Gill's hubby worked there too.

Next time we talk to Richard, who is still at HI, I'll ask him.

Thanks. I wish I had taken a picture with her. I was too busy taking pictures with all of the guys whistling.gif

What department was she in?

Hey Mich,
I did meet Ken at the HI Sunspree. He worked there from 1998-2008. He says he knew a few Brendas. (He's better with faces than names-If you have a picture post it or PM me.) I asked him if he knew Jomo for the last 6 months and he was like no. When he came up and he saw JG's wedding pic...he was like..."I KNOW DAT YUTE!!! A GOOD YUTE DAT!" He said that you can always call and ask to be transferred to the Main Dining room and ask for her. I can give you the number if you want!

Bless-ed,

P.S.- Hope that's somehow helpful.
P.P.S.- Ken wants to know why only my meez gets to shout? He says "Even his meez knows how it goes down!" laughing.gif laughing.gif

Anyone have any good ideas (even if small) as to what I can do to welcome Marla home? Me and my son (8yr old - whom she has never met) will be going to pick her up at the airport and then we are going to Red Lobster (she has always heard about it and wants to eat there - she loves shrimp) and then home. I planned on having some roses there for her. Any other great ideas?

Ah.....Red Lobster. Hubby loved it the first time we went. Hated it the second and now refuses to go anymore.

How about some pampering items? My husband had no opportunites to take a bath in JA. He loved his first bath with bubbles, a bath bomb, lotion, a glass of wine and some music in the bathroom. He still does this on a fairly regular basis.

We also took the long way home from the airport so he could get a short look at the city on the way home.

I'm glad you mentioned that....b/c I just bought a new house and it has this big garden tub w/ jacuzzi. I will some candles, music, bubbles, and flowers in there.

Sounds L-O-V-E-L-Y!!! Maybe write her little notes on how happy you are to be together finally! Ken did that for me and it was sweet...he put one in my wallet, one in my make-up bag, one under my pillow....about 10 notes in all. Each note had a different reason or thing for why he loved & appreciated me, or what he wanted to do for us as a family. It was sweet. I don't know when he did it...but I was still finding notes up til a week ago.

Whatever you decide to do...JUST ENJOY EACH OTHER!!! luv.gif luv.gif

I'm with you Gill! I was out in my kayak on Saturday with MAJOR spring fever (even though I was dodging the ice chunks like the Titantic) as it was 78 here.

Has it been hard to get up and go to work knowing Ken is home?

BTW - how is coaching working for him?

laughing.gif It's working out ok...Bad News Bears of Soccer haven't won any games yet...but they are at least passing to the right team member. Ken has those boys in check...he's patient , but firm...he makes them run run a half mile for warm up and then do drills. Then they play team vs. coaches. Andre never really had those issues either. He lost only one phone and that was cause a guy borrowed it and then ran off with it. I thought someone was going to die that night. All the crazy HI bartenders running down the road chasing the guy. It was comically scary. Andre ended up taking him to court and winning back the money to buy a new phone.

Otherwise, electricty, or rather lack of, caused most of our phone problems. Even then, he was very good about charging at work or borrowing someone's phone. We never missed a beat in the calls department.

I agree about the loud tv/music in the background. I've even been known to hang up on him if he was too chatty with anyone else in the room when I was on the phone. I'm sorry, but if you want to talk to me, I am getting full attention or else you aren't talking to me. Don't think this goes away easily, though. To this day, I will tell him if he doesn't walk away from whatever is hurting my ears, I'm going to have to hang up. And, if everyone around him needs more immediate attention, he can call me back.

DIT-TO!!!! Cyan't tell yuh ow many times Ken heard ... "Look, I'm not running hup my minutes so you can talk to so and so...when yuh cyan spare me a minute...CALL ME BACK!!" or "I CYAN'T HEAR YOU...lackhoff every B.C. ting or call mi back when it's quiet!" Ken never really lost his phones...but Lawd, I never realized how much technology it took to make and recieve a phone call! We had bad phones...always bloody well breaking. And there's the time 18 month (at the time) old KJ LOST the megaphone...Don't even get me started! mad.gif ...to say I was vex would be putting it mildly. I can so relate Shrewdie & Sus-ie...that cell phone felt like my life line most times!

Morning all - Prayers to those who need them, and Shrewdie, I can TOTALLY relate to the cell phone issue - it's amazing how something that we didn't have 10 or 15 years ago can have such an effect and how much stress it can cause - Stay strong, and start screaming! I would be on the phone daily to whoever you can reach - isn't October around the time that they moved the service center? I seem to recall something bizarre happening around then - At this point, I think all you Oct filers need to band together and raise Cain, go to the media, whatever it takes -

JAEng - There is going to be a crab and seafood festival at MXIII on May 31st with Professor Nuts and other artists -

Hey Sus, May 31st that's my b'day. Are you talking about Professor Nuts the DJ...OMG I've not seen him since the 90s. I love the older DJs the youngers one now-a-days cuss too much for my liking. Same way I love the older songs from the 60s and so on.

I love General Degree, Major Mackrel, Ninga Man, Tony Rebel, Capelton and a lot of the older singers like Beres Hammond.

Love them! Ken and I just went to see John Holt, Ken Boothe and the Merritones two weeks ago at an oldies dance. We had such a good time...we were ska-ing it hup! laughing.gif

Oh...I forgot to tell ya'll...

Ken got his SS card on Monday!!! He was so dyam happy! He is hitting the job trail tomorrow! Fingers crossed that someone is willing to work with us until we can file his AOS and get his permanent SS & Green Card!

The SS card says "Valid for Work only...with authorization from DHS" Which I believe is where the EAD stamp comes in.

Questions:

1). Is the EAD stamp the 'authorization they are referring to?
2). Does anyone know if the SS number will change once he gets his permanent SS Card?

Cause I know people that are trying to link him up with a job...but it will be a problem if they start and continue to take $$ out of his check for this SSN during the AOS waiting time...only to find out his SSN changed.

DO my questions make sense? blink.gif wacko.gif

Great news on the SS card Gill. kicking.gif Good luck to Ken and finding a job. His card # will definately remain the same, just have to get a new card after all this immigration stuff is over and done with. good.gif

Good morning all (almost forgot my manners today). What a beautiful sunny day we are having here in NC. I hope you all are having a beautiful day and hope that your day be fulfilling and productive.

Good Morning Claire,

Your time is coming. I'm so happy for you.

My fiance's friend has a follow-up appointment at the embassy this morning and he text me and told me that it looks like the guard that pulled my dress at the embassy went back to work today. He should have been FIRED! But I didn't want to push any buttons since the interview wasn't scheduled yet and no approval. I'm still very much upset about it.

My sister had a scare yesterday it took them 2 hours to find the baby's heartbeat and entire time my mom kept suggesting that they turned my sis and they refused. So, the doctor comes in and asked "didyou try to turn her" soon as they did that they found the heart beat. I was so scary. So, please keep my sis in your prayers. My little brother is doing okay. He went back to work yesterday.

I managed to get 3 hours sleep last night. Haven't slept since Monday. I look like MAD MAVIS!

Hola Fam,

Thanks for helping me with the SSn questions. My Dad took Ken to the NYS Dept. of Labor today. Ken was interviewed by a lady that told him that he had to get a paper authorizing him to work from DHS.. I told him 'No, you don't that's what the EAD is! " The blinking ooman insisted that the EAD stamp wasn't enough. I called her and explained that according to my attorneys (Yardie VJ Family wink.gif ), that all he needs is his SSN card and the EAD stamp. She put me on hold and said she spoke with her supervisor and my attorneys are CORRECT! no0pb.gif So thanks again.

Lawny, I used to have a supervior called Mavis and Bwoy most days she really looked Mad fi true! So, heverytime I see you write dat mi haffi laff han seh Bwoy she cyan't look as bad as DAT MAVIS!!! laughing.gif

Hush Chica and repeat my mantra..."This too shall pass!"

Shauna and likkle Ms...update kicking.gif

Kayla Leilani Francis made her debut at 12:18 AM (today), by emergency c-section. Shauna has been in the hospital for the past few days because her BP was up and the Docs didn't like that. Kayla is 8 lbs 12 oz and almost 21 inc long. Shauna had to have a vertical c-section because the little one was NOT ready to come out and was still tucked up so far and they "vacummed" her outta there.

She's tired and feeling good. The baby is great ! Shauna will remain in the hospital for up to 5 days. She won't be online for quite awhile.

Once she's out of the hospital and settled, I'll be making a trip to see her and the little one.

Kelly

WELCOME BABY KAYLA!!!!!
Shauna, I am so happy you both made it through alright!! CONGRATULATIONS MAMA NANS!!!

BLESSINGS TO YOU BOTH!!!

JG Gurl, I am so sorry that you and Andre are going through all this outside drama!!! But Sweets, don't forget...you both have been through much worse and this is just yet another bump in the road we call marriage! I just don't get how some people have the bloody guall(sp?) to call someone FIFTY-SEVEN times!!!! I mean seriously what would have been there back-up plan if Andre had never met you and he moved here? Well, it may be time for them to figure it out! I HATE TO SAY IT BUT ANDRE (bless his sweet nature) might now need to lackhoff EVERYONE!!! It seems that they are taking his sweetness for weakness and I am SURE that is NOT the case. What stinks is that the innocents (the children) will have to suffer because the adults can't seem to understand the meaning of the words "WE DON'T HAVE IT!!"

Look, I know this may sound harsh...but it is time to focus on K & A right now and make your dreams come true!! Good luck Chica, I know this is hard on both of you...but this too shall pass!

Sorry, I've been out of touch for the last few days...We decided to take a spontaneous road trip with the boys to visit my Sis in D.C.!! We went to the Air/Space Museum, Natural History Museum (they have an AWESOME exhibit on Rastafari) & the White House! Ken has been really enjoying the sites, although the weather has been crappy ever since we got here!
mad.gif

Alright, I hope all is well otherwise with our Yardie Family! I'll read up on tings later!

As of yesterday afternoon, no baby...she's still all tucked away. I'll keep you posted if she makes a surprise this weekend. "Due date" is Monday, we were all taking bets that she would have made her arrival this week. She's just quite comfortable luv.gif

Thanks Kelly wink.gif

Ditto!

Hopefully next year we can get cheaper flights....

Doubtful Engy...if fuel prices keep going up! That's what pushing up the price so much! A gallon of 87 unleaded is $3.55 now and super is $3.76!! I'm sorry, but I remeber when a gallon was $.97!

Well the good news is that your going to JA!

Hi ladies, its been a while since I've been on here.. been going through some personal troubles.. sad.gif I had been slowly telling my family about my pregnancy and my fiance and lets just say its been tough. My mother took it better than expected and has been very supportive, my father on the other hand took it really hard... on top of that my fiance and I have been having ups and downs .. its been so rough being apart.. hopefully everything will work itself out.

Congrats to all the ladies who have been approved or cases updated.... still waiting to at least get a touch but I know it could be a while...

Girl, I know how it is. But it passes trust me. I think all of us on here can vouch for that. Your family will come around. If they never knew much about your fiance you can't really blame them for not being to thrilled about the situation. They are just looking out for you plus in shock. I mean to hear that you are pregnant, getting married to a man they may not really know, or know at all, plus they can't meet him now cause he lives in a foreign country...well...it probably sounds crazy to them. But once time passes and they begin to let the idea settle, especially after they meet him, it will be all good. My dad was sooooo not about my husband before the wedding. husaband emailed him to spark a convo and even poured his heart out to the man and my dad never budged....didnt even respond back to him. The finally met and spoke for the 1st time when I had Evan pick my dad up at the airport for my wedding. My dad went down a day before me so it was just the 2 of them. Scary it was not...those fools are like best buds now. Talk on the phone all the time. In JA they loved playing pool together chatting and drinking Guiness... so trust...your dad will come around.

M2B, I agree wid Lita! Remember a few weeks ago I was telling you how nervous I was about what my family would say about Ken...especially my Dad!! Gurl, I was so stressed about the whole thing I can't even tell you! Well, it's been two weeks now and my Dad LOVES Ken!! Ken chops down trees for him, cleans and details his car, makes him lunch, listens to his stories about "Yard back innamyday' stories.

When I initally told my father I had filed he told me that Ken probably has 4 kids in the country is gonna get his green card and file for his one of his FOUR baby Mama's!!! Pure foolishness!! I know he was scared b/c like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman'..I was a bum magnet...up until Ken!!

Here's the joke...today my father asked me "Why did you wait so long to file for Ken!?" blink.gif huh.gif

So, I say all this to say two things...1). you...have to make YOU happy & 2). one way or another it WILL work out!

Hang in there and don't be a stranger! luv.gif

Bless,
Gill

Thanks Kimmy, I'm hanging in there.

Island woman, I know about the distance taking its toll on us.. I was just there in January so its been about 3 months but by the time I get there in June it will be about 5... we do talk everyday on the phone several times a day... which is a killer on my phone bill...but I'm sure you all know what that's like.

Mrs, I live in nyc so I can fly out JFK, Laguardia, or Newark. I usually do a supersearch through travelzoo.com so I get search through all the major travel websites at once, I usually book with Expedia though.

If you go to Airjamaica.com they have specials - the one I bought is good till June 24th. Sale is $288 but of course once they tack all the fees etc it came to $380, but it was the cheapest I found for non-stop.

I know all about the phone bill!!! The best deal we found right now is Digicel international that gives 1,000 minutes for $1,000ja for a month. That will last us just about 2 weeks. Anthony bought a 2nd chip for his phone so we get that deal for the 2nd half of the month as well. That has been a big saver. For me to call him I buy Sprint prepaid phone cards. If you watch CVS, they have then buy 1 get 1 free every so often.

Ladies sorry to chime in on your conversation but I found that Rebtel at www.rebetel.com offers great rates from your Mobile. at 19 cents a minute, also you can assign a local number to correspond to their Jamaica number. Check out this web site. www.Rebtel.com

I talk to my husband at least three times a day, because like everyone else I miss him so much. We haven't file our CR1 yet, because we are waiting on the job visa. If that doesn't play out, I will go there for the entire summer and work via my own make shift satellite office. I just informed my boss of this and he just blinked twice and left my office. Ha Ha.

He thinks I am joking, but right now I am calling for my Sprint Mobile Broadband Connection Plan for my laptop.

I am a woman on a mission.

Good fo you Rox...I say GO FOR IT!!! All dem cyan seh is 'NO'!!! I WISH I could've don somehing like that!

Good luck,
Gill

I felt the same way about Rebel Salute - except there was some issue - one of the security people chopped someone or something - I would love to go next year, but definitely would do things different - We were in Ochi, so we drove ALL the way over and back - and had NO clue of how cold it would be!! of course, I saw the guy selling sweatshirts after the sun came up, lol! I would stay closer, and definitely dress warmer and bring blankets.

Yeah Gurl, I hear you! Thank goodness we stayed in Negril & our driva told us to DRESS WARM and in layers!!! Those St. Elizabeth mountains can get COLD!!! Man, I was so impressed with Tony's show!
