I remember calling the embassy in peru and asking for the interview daate, give it a couple of days and call the NVC center here first and ask if they sent ur paperwork to peru if u did, they were supposed to give u NEW CASE NUMBER.... with that u wait a couple of days and call the embassy in peru and ask when will ur interview will be =) its quicker than waiting for them to send him the packet 3 have ur fiance start his paperwork antecedentes penales judiciales y policiales ready if u have any questions HOLLA back at me lol! I was born in NY but gre up in Lima I had a huge crush on him! and used to follow him around like a lil stalker very terrible of me! ha ha ! Then in 1989 I moved to a different school closer to my house and he moved to Mexico. Never saw eachother again. Years passed and I moved back to NY went to college here in NY Ive been here for 9 years. In 2005 my friend told me to go check out this website hi5 that I could find some many people from Lima AND OLD FRIENDS so I did and found a lot of older friends, Then I wondered how this lil kid that I used to follow back in elemntary school was doing?! and looked for him and indeed found him.. We started messagin back and forth until we started chatting on the MSN and became good friends. months passed and In jan of 06 went to Lima to visit my family and to meeet him again ha ha. IT WAS AMAZING we saw eachother and felt as if we have never lost contact I mean 19 YEARS HAD PASSED! and it felt as if we were friends FOREVER! we felt we were meant ot be! We kept our long distance relationship alive i started travelling there every 6 months since 06, its hard to give tourist visas to come here so as much as he wanted he got denied. So we just kept positive and Of course I didn t mind traveling there! went there in jan 06, october of 06, april of 07 and last trip October of 07.... Oct 07 He proposed in front of hundreds of people at the airport in one of my trips there! and now we are engaged. Came back to NY and sent the application with ALL of its requirments. I sent everything translated emails, letters birhtdyas cards, declarations of love , tons of pictures. Please fill in your details, some things DO depend on the Embassy you are going thru and people will be better able to answer your questions in a specific way if they have more detailed information. In other words...if you tell us where you are...another member may be along that can tell you if their copy of the petition was ever even looked at. While it is not ideal, what's done is done. You know the petition has arrived at USCIS, that is the most important thing!My feeling is that the exact copy is more for your peace of mind, in case the petition gets lost...that's why it is best to keep your originals. But you already know it is at the service center! I have read on VJ that after the NOA2 your entire packet is forwarded to the Embassy, so they will have the original and I don't think they are going to nitpick when it comes to your having an exact copy. I ve been debating on what to do? ..we havent been approved yet but we are already thinking ahead Im definately going down to Lima Peru for the k1 interview, if approved, but we were trying to figure out if he shld come back to NY (jfk)with me or so that its not that chaotic he shkd come a week or two later so he can leave everythign settled in Lima... Its hard also to find same flight as me so we go in the plane together and it comes more expensive for me to pick another airline that it would be cheaper for him so , My question is how hard is for the Visa holder to enter the POE by themselves?! are they tough!? what do they ask them!? what does he have to show!? etc i just wanna make the right decision can he do it alone or does he need me with him?? please enlighten me with some positivie feedback GRACIAS! Sorry one of the requirements its to bring the letter of approval NOA2 so u might need it call ur emabassy and ask to make sure ... El como cuidadano americano NO necesita Visa para mexico ais quiera slair del aeropuerto, pero si uds no planean salir de las puertas de embarque no necesitan Visa!!! When ericka flies into jfk she will recieve her ead stamp she needs to make sure of that with that u can go to the social security ofice and get a social who will only be valid for 90 days THEN u have to do the adjust of status and apply for it with the aos.... so answer to ur question yes she will need a social !!=) You guys shld give me a call when erica arrives, i live in long island and my fiance and erica are firends from el ICPNA their english classes, we shlould all meet one day good luck in eveything!!!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Birth Certificate Issue	Do not worry at all he can show that is in the process and show his baptism certificate and also get an affidavit of 2 people that were present on his birth, it says it in the instructions on what to do when u dont have certain documents with u, read it for the I 129 F.. Or Worst comes to worst u ll get a yellow slip that the approval will be on hold until u get the rest of the papers u need! thats what happened to me, Santiago was missing a certificado de antecedentes policiales from mexico and they gave us that yellow slip and had to go back with the document and next day approved... their major issue is that he doesnt have any antecedentes penales, that u guys have enough proof of ur ongoing relationship and that he doesnt have AIDS lol so dont worry much! has he gotten his stuff for when he is interviewed? I made so organizedthat at the embassy later on asked me if i did it because it was better that what lawyers do .. =) anyway u wont need the i 134 yet however i included mine in the package just for the sake of it... they liked that make sure u use fasteners not big clips and separate each evidence with colors so its more fun=) make sure u put the pics on little plastic folders so they can see them .. Now for future references your fiance its not a Chola she is a Serrana..Cholas are from Lima... In peru they use it to denigrate people that have darker features as CHOLAS ... I guess we Americans always reveal so much info in our conversations, eh? So, lately I have been pointing out the contradictions, and she obviously denies them. So, the communication has gone down. I will call, and we will be on the phone a few minutes before she comes up with an excuse why she has to go. It has seemed pretty evasive. Now, with Peru being known for high visa fraud, of course this is setting off all sorts of alarms in my head about the "validity" of the relationship, and whether this woman is playing me for a visa. Yes, I know, if that's the case, it won't be the first or last. But I would rather try to understand this further than just cutoff the process because I may have suspected wrongly. The K1 was already filed, so if worse comes to worst, I would be looking at canceling it. Has any body else had similar experiences with their SO's? How have you handled it? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I-130 package almost ready, few questions	I'm petitioning for my wife and her daughter (15 years old). I'm assembling the I-130 package and I have a few questions: Question 1: The g-325a for my step daughter should be signed by her mother, with the word "mother" written under the signature. I'm pretty sure that's what the lady at USCIS told me, but I had trouble understanding her. Question 2: The only evidence of bonafide marriage I am providing is a copy of deed to our house. I've owned it for many years, but will have a new deed in a few days showing joint ownership. That should suffice, correct? We have only been married for about a week. I do have photos of us together in Brazil prior to our marriage, as well as phone bills showing calls and things like that. Is any of that necessary, or should the deed do the trick. Question 3: In the cover letter I should specify what I'm applying for. That would be a CR1 for my wife but what do I say about her daughter?
