Gill Gill, unfortunately my manager is not her manager - Her manager is the other attorney - But for some unknown reason, he is completely BLIND to anything she doesn't do - he is very protective of her for some odd reason that no one can figure out. I don't feel comfortable going to him to complain about her when he CLEARLY should see it and ignores it, no matter how much it is pointed out to him (not only by me). I had a long talk with my manager about it a few months ago, and she said to come to her - so I am! I'm wondering why you did not put a pass code lock on all of your work. Therefore no one will be able to edit it only read. This will help solve the problem with editing it. She was typing and editing her camp fundraiser flyer - paying NO attention to the call at all - Totally unprofessional! I just hit the wall with the document issue - I have been building quite a file for a while now to prove my point - for years, I have stood behind her and dictated emails that she had to send out - Now I have been drafting them and emailing it to her, so that I have the proof that it's my work. We had this "One Forum" yesterday that was the CEO giving a Rah-Rah speech about making managers accountable for their employees satisfaction, etc... so today, we'll see if my manager steps up! I am at a point where I am ready to just walk, new job or not - Sus-ie, Gurl...that is totally JACKED-THE -HELL-UP!!! Girl it has been a roller coaster and now it's worse. Marcel mother had a stroke Sunday evening and he's in tears. He's mom's heart and it's really hard on him. He's the middle child and she has all boys and she will need full time care. The nurses were teaching him and his mothers how to bath his mother and his other brothers ran out of the room. Girl, it's always something, but I'm praying. Good news is my sister and the baby is getting better and the baby is growing. My sis water broke at 5 months and they're trying to keep the baby in until week 23 to deliver him. Girl.....I am so sorry to hear about Marcel's mother and your grandmother......Great news about sis and baby though........I will keep all of you in my prayers.......Hang in there Lawny........Hugs to you and Marcel....... They're good boys, it's just hard for them I guess to have to imagine giving their mom a bath or seeing her naked. Marcel said it was very difficult. His brothers just can't deal with it so they ran out the room. The stroke was pretty bad she can't move her left side and she's YOUNG. I don't think she's even in her late 40s yet. Wow, that's so dyam YOUNG!!! It just shows you the state of JA's health care system! A complete annual physical may have prevented this tragedy! I guess, I'll keep shopping at Sears, Walmart, Target and Kmart. She also told me it's bad and not SEXY to buy panties in a BAG...what a stress. Is that why they call them 'baggies'! Have to do it before 6/18 cause my Dad is going to Florida for a month and our 90 days are up 7/1/08! Trust me...I am so over calling Ken my 'Fiance' ...mi waan fi call em mi husband arready!! It is a special day...but neither one of us are super fussy! We just want a small chapel wedding with some music and food afterwards! Bless, Gill P.S.- thanks for asking. I hear you on the wedding thing - I haven't said anything to my family yet Long story there - My sister keeps telling me that I need to get married because my nephews need to look cute in tuxes - All my life, I always pictured myself getting married in my church - but when I was in her wedding, as I watched her walk down the aisle, all that I could think (18 years ago!) was that this will NEVER be me! In my mind, something small and intimate on the beach works - that or the Pirate ship in Vegas and walking the plank! Just something private, then a huge party later on. DJ wants the full wedding deal - it's one of the issues that we go round and round on - Right now, I just can't see it for myself - My Dad passed away last June, and every time I think about walking down the aisle it makes me cry that he won't be there walking me. So, I think this is one of the issues we will hopefully resolve on my next trip. I know how you feel though I too waited AWHILE for the blasted NOA2! Just keep praying and keep doing whatever it is that has kept you sane to this point! Trust me...there were days that I didn't think I was going to see the light at the end of the NOA2 tunnel! I mean it was like if I checked my USCIS webbpage and saw August 11, 2007 as the last worked date ONE MORE TIME...I WAS GONNA SCREAM AND RIP MY HAIR OUT!!!
