I know its not funny but you must sit back and LOL. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 Interviews	Ok my hubby called today and supervisor said that becuz we sent the bc , they had to review it again and that made a new CC !!!!!!!!!!!!! And now the funny thing is that I just received an email with checklist subject and my heart droped Like crazyyyyyyyyyyy ! I open it and it says all the same checklist stuff bla bla bla . And at the bottom of the letter where they usually tell you what they need it says : we have received all the nessesary documents and your file will be send to the us embassy as soon as an interview date is available for you !!!!!!!!!!!! Okkkkkkk now I really think something is not working right in NVC !!!!!!! They are playing with my mind and heart !!!!! They reviewed the birth certificate and completed the case again (that's the new email). Now i'm not sure how this will affect the assignment of the interview date. When I asked the supervisor, he told me that it shouldn't affect it and that it only depends on the available slots at the embassy and not on the completion date. I asked him if there is any sort of priority when the availability is limited. He just gave me the standard line and didn't give me a straight answer (basically you'll get it when you get it). So I'm not sure how much I can trust his answer.   oh well thank you for your time and tryimg to comfort me i will tell mu hubby to call DOS as well and try to talk to a supervisor ! hopefully we will get August interview !	summer777	Female	United Kingdom	2013-07-08 18:06:00

Exacty when did you send the birth certificate in? looks like you didn't follow up to see when they accepted. But this explains the changed case complete.   But DOS is 202-663-1225 press 1 than 0.   ask them all you ask us.   what happened to original case complete? what does this do to your place in interview queue? and whatever else you want to ask. Unfortunately they close at 5pm.  we sent that overnight and they got on 17th of june then 4 days after that on 21th of june we got this email !!!!!!   the thing is even before we sent them the birth certificate the guy on the phone told me that they are going to  put me on the interview list and he said but please go a head and send ur BC anyway !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!	summer777	Female	United Kingdom	2013-07-08 18:02:00

Have you called DOS. Call them and ask. Tell them about the email 3 weeks and what happened today.   Sorry I called NVC no less than 3 times a day from NOA2 6/29/12 till a week after interview date assigned 3/5/13. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2013 Interviews	Did you by any chance get a checklist during the AOS/IV application? I had a similar issue where I received a checklist and I sent the documents back to NVC in a day or so. However, my case was completed even without the review of those documents. When they finally got around to reviewing the document (2 weeks later), they had to "re-open my case" and "complete" it again (according to an NVC supervisor). Hence a new case complete date   yes i did get check list on 14th june and it was my original birth certificate (i already sent them the traslated one ) so after we sent those we recived the email that i have attached above !!! so this means that they have reviewd the birth certificate too and sent me that email .,,, right ???   any way even if what you say is corect which date is the acctual CC ??!!!! the first one or the last one ???? dose it mean that we are going to have our interview date with more delay now ???   ohhhh god !!!	summer777	Female	United Kingdom	2013-07-08 17:43:00

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	AOS - CR1 - removal of Conditional Residence Status	Hi, My husband and I emigrated to the USA in Dec 2009. At the time, we hadn't been married for 2 years so we were told that we would be granted Conditional Permanent Residence and would have to file a joint petition to have that conditional basis removed. I am unsure how how to go about this. Is anyone familiar with this? It says we have must file the petition within a 90 day period, immediately preceding the 2nd anniversary of the date we were granted the conditional permanent residence status. My question is: Is the 90 day period from when we were granted our visa or when we actually moved to the USA? Also, does anyone know where to get this form? Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Please help!! Missed my ASC appointment by 3 months!	I sent my application to remove conditions in feburary, and recieved my reciept. Shortly after mailing in, we decided to move, so a week later I mailed in a change of address then We then moved the next week. My husband put our mail on hold online, and then later had it redirected to a PO Box. Somehow or another the ASC appointment letter, got lost. ( Im guessing the new tenent of the apartment, had it laying around before handing it back to the apartment manager) Which it would then have been sent back to the original sender ( Vermount) So anyway yesterday I got the letter finally forworded by USCIS, to my new address. I am freaking out as its so late. They must have got it back, but I have no idea on what to do with this missed appointment letter? Has anyone ever been through anything similar? Is there any hope? Also I did have a feeling that something wasnt right, so I called USCIS a month ago to check they had my updated address. They told me that as long as I had mailed in the change of address form they would be in touch. It seems so difficult to get updates from them about my case. I think you should have a serious chat with your husband. I'm not a big fan of ultimatums but it doesn't sound like you have an awful lot of choice if his mum and aunt are that manipulative. If he doesn't agree to move out then you should seriously think about your options. Life is way to short to be involved in these kind of horrible situations. Stay positive and good luck! I got an approval with no interview or RFE a month later.    Hope for the best!         Olaru Steve and  a few other contributors are right!   My case was transferred from VSC to the local office where it was approved, without any RFE, and in my case, i didn't receive any letters throughout my processing until i received by card, all notifications were through texts/emails ,So anyone in similar situation shouldn't stress about it   Based on my experience, people run into problems when they don't include all documents covering the "3 years of the marriage", and i mean all documents requested and more should be added, selecting what you want USCIS to see or not isnt ideal, all relevant documents covering the 3 years should be sent even if they have copies	aries	Male	United Kingdom	2013-11-26 14:46:00
