Okay, here is my first post! VJ has been a great source of info to me and I have had nothing worthwhile to add. Now I have a question (which I may be posting in the wrong topic). whistling.gif

Our NOA-1 from Vermont was June 12, 2008. VJ says the following:
"Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 24, 2008 and November 9, 2008."

The Historical Processing Times link says June 21 NOA-1s are being processed currently. http://www.visajourn...ge=k1historical

Can anyone explain how this can be and why Igor's list has no NOA-2s after very early June?

I am probably being unnecessarily impatient (aren't we all??), but I wanted to make sure I am not missing something...

My NOA1 was June 27th, and just today I got my NOA2. It was predicted by the timeline that I'd get it between Nov6-23rd.

well done glad to see june fillers geting their NOA2, hopefully not long now for the rest of us, just stay calm and wait, it going to happen to all by end of month

Having problems with ebay at the moment been on the phone to america as they dont have the 501's I ordered so swapped to other colours and they said that they will send them today, but I dont think that they will arrive in time, and have not got confirmation that anything else I got has been sent
At least I have a case full of other ####### ha ha
I will be thinking of you tomorrow, so as soon as I get back from the medical I will check to see that you have got your visa

The scratch test is for TB
I called Knightbridge doctors where I have my medical booked and they told me that they know nothing about it..............great and they are not doing it
I went to the docs yesterday who could not find a record of my jabs so I had to do the MMR and Tdap ouch, I asked her if I could have it and she said that they dont do it, all she did was to put on my notes to take to the medical that I had a scar from the BCG test which took her 10 mins to find which is similar to the scratch test.
Best thing that I can suggest to anyone is just ask at your medical, it seems so stupid to have the scratch test if you are having the x-ray, I might even bring this poing up at my interview to see if I can get a waiver, as I feel it is wrong to have another medical and the expence of that if the UK consulate is not giving the correct information out to their chosen doctors
OH well some things just dont make sense to me in this process

Dan went to the infopass appointment yesterday and they told him that we got assigned to an officer on Nov 13!!!
She said realistically we should hear something within the next 2-4 weeks.
That is great news for us! Let's hope it is going to be an approval so that the rest of the journey goes smootly.

Yes it is 4 months for you to submit the paperwork for the next stage we got ours in November and it is valid till March

Thank you guys!! We are sitting here crying. I know we cannot expect to be approved at any specific date but we are just hoping it soo much every single day. I am blessed that he can be with me right now but this waiting is sucking out our joy.
Thank you guys for being here, I don't know what we would do without you!



Just think that you are together waiting and helping eachother through this hard time, when I was stressing crying myself to sleep at night I would have done anything for a hug from my boy
Just think how great it will be to be together when you receive it, and you can celebrate, it will be so much sweeter than being on your own, it does take some of the happiness away when you reach such a milestone and you are away from your love
Dont let this spoil your time together
It will come hopefully sooner than you think, the only way I got through it ,was to stop checking all the time and be dissapointed and just check it twice a day.

Well I think that they are telling the truth about the computer system as I just went on to check and our case still says pending and we have had our NOA2 and the letter from NVC......................
So I just went online to check if we are now approved on the USCIS site for you and it still states pending last touch 3rd November

To them we are just case numbers not real people waiting for them to play god with our lives............free world.........yeah right

Wow, I can finally write this message I have been longing to write for so long!!!! I took Mike and Gracey's advice and called USCIS. The first worker refused to "escalate my call" saying there was no supervisor available, and that she had all the info to help me. She actually got an attitude about it--I hung up on her I was so frustrated! Called back and the next worker was so nice-- I calmly explained my situation and asked to speak to a supervisor just to be sure about my case. She agreed to escalate my call and the nice supervisor told me what I wanted to here:

APPROVED November 12th!!!!!!

I called to USCIS...told me same that case still pending.....then why I got NVC letter? unsure.gif unsure.gif but No NOA2..

they told me to file I-824...to get Duplicate Approval Notice.... n pay $340 another wait time 6 month for that ..mad.gif mad.gif huh.gif

But I haven't got any NOA2 in mail 2 week...If they didn't mail me then HoW m I have... headbonk.gif headbonk.gif

Yea, you'd think that, and I have. The problem here is that my case is now with the consulate, so I have to deal with them. I have emailed them about the problem, and hopefully they will fix it. In the meantime, I hope that attorney will cooperate with me in getting me those materials, so that I don't lose a lot of time.

I don't want to get to pushy with the staff at the consulate. It wasn't their mistake...must have been CIS or NVC...and I have to interview there hehe whistling.gif , so I don't want to cause too much of a stink. Just want to kindly request that the error be corrected so that materials go to us, and not some attorney. innocent.gif

Just would be so much easier if I could talk to someone on the phone. Email is OK, but you never know when someone is going to handle it, and when they are going to get around to telling you about it.

Ahh well...always something, but it will get handled.

We got a letter to say our case was received at NVC on the 10th and will be sent to the consulate within a week, it was nice to get today as it is our 2 year anniversary for meeting online

I have NOT my NOA2 yet....but got NVC later stated with Case number & also my file is forwarded to "appropriate Consulate "..

I had last touch on 10/31/2008 and I think its approved on that day but no NOA2 its today 11/14/2008 it going to be 2 week!!....
you, me & Pilotio..(his linkbelow) are same....Lets wait 2-3 days more..Let me know as soon as u get your NOA2..I will keep u update with mine too..Good luck to all..

The touches is working it is just the main page that is not, I think that this is quite a common thing as 1 person I know has there visa and it still says pending and another is in the states and married and still says pending

I will be curious to know the approval of the 11th weather it is working as they would not have had that by post yet, or they have updated their timeline with the date received of the NOA2 and not the actual NOA2 date, I would expect that it was the date that they got the hard copy as USCIS was not supposed to be working yesterday

It is hard to tell as the actual names are used on Igors list and not the names used on the forum

Think they must be swamped today and it is Veterans day tomorrow so doubt they will be working I have passed it to my other half to do, it is cheaper for him than me calling from the UK, they did say try after 6 Eastern time

Dont know about Canda but the Manila Embassy Philippines no longer mails out packets you have to download them off the website and turn them in during your interview, PI only does what was called packet 4, no packet three. I have already downloaded all the forms listed on the site and sent them Fedex to Radz. It's amazing that it is different in other countries, uk is packet 3 then 4, I am starting to get my stuff ready for packet 3 but wont send it back till jan when I get back from the states from visiting my boy in Texas for the holidays

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally you were approved!!!!! i am sooo happy for you!!!!!... I am here in New York with my baby, trying to organize our lives together LOL....I renewed my license which is great since mine expired one year ago so I can drive now. I am very happy to be with my baby,it's priceless.
Dont worry about the USCIS page, dont even pay attention to it. According to the website, my case is still pending and I am already in New York!!!

Gald you are so happy and you can drive, lucky you being in NY, they just changed the laws in Texas and I cant get a Texas license or a ID card till I complete AOS, bit of a worry.

Just checked Igors list and another approval has just showed up dated the 4th , so maybe that is another one that just showed up in the post

Maybe some more tomorrow, with any luck it might not be such a bad week as we thought it was at VSC last week, well it was a good one for me

I hope there will be lots tomorrow, as the are judged on productivity there then hopefully they will churn lots out tomorrow as they are off on Tuesday

Keeping my fngers crossed for everyone still waiting and curious to know when the system starts working again and the approvals show up on the USCIS site
