K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	waiting for interview date at london embassy	....so i mailed off my checklist a few weeks ago and im waiting for my interview date to come through.... however...i found a super cheap flight today for the 21st aug, a couple of weeks before the date i put on my paperwork that i plan to fly out.... im dying to book it, however want to make double sure i get my interview within good time of me leaving... hoping our date is in the system and the appointment letter is sloooowly on the way my fiance called the nvc on 603 334 0700 giving our lnd number and was told that it is nothing to do with them there and we are to call the london embassy... am i right in thinking this is not the case? thanks guys!!! My fiances mom is our co sponsor, and i would just like to quickly check the following: i have her original affidavit form, however i only have copies of both the back page of her passport and a letter from her bank confirming her mortgage. The first clerk at the embassy that checked all my documents took them all and filed them in my folder....he seemed pretty impressed with all the papers i did have......if only i had been that thorough with my co sponsor..ugh! lol!!! good luck! It went really well, but the agent didn't say definitely yes or no! I don't get it... it seems like everyone else got their answer during the interview! She kept his passport and the envelope and said normally we should expect it in the mail next week - and explaiend about getting married, what to do at the POE, etc. but she didn't say "approved"! When Rahim asked if he could go ahead and buy his plane tickets, she kind of laughed like "you're in a hurry!" and said it would be better to wait until we have it in hand (of course)... so we were wondering if there is still some chance they would reject it? or if they just prefer to not risk giving you the wrong answer? At the end she smiled and said "Congratulations!" but we left still not sure if we should start celebrating or not! We feel relieved and happy, but not 100% - anybody know anything that might help releive us? Thanks, and congratulations to everyone else! Hey there A similar thing happened to me at my interview at the London Embassy..... I was missing a document and they couldnt give me an answer, so sent me away saying that when i have it to courier it back with my passport. When i asked if im guaranteed my visa when they have this i was told, it looks likely but they will need to physically see it before they make a decision. I courired it back to them a few days later and after a nerve racking 10 day wait...had my passport sent back to me...visa inside!! R emailed the embassy one last time on Friday and yesterday/Wednesday he finally got the packet 4 letter!! The interview is July 22! Can't wait!!! Anyone have any tips for us for the interview, now that you've been through it? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	It's all over...or just beginning!	Ok. Me and Shawnie's K-1 process is finally over! Received my visa by courier on Wednesday February 24th and returned to Houston the following day. A breeze getting through immigration, and the immigration officers were very hospitable indeed, although the whole process took about 2 hours! Landed at 2pm, and walked through the arrivals doors to an open-armed Shawnie at 4pm! Just need to set a date for marriage, adjust my status, and start looking for work! You need to prove what you wrote on the I-134 form, meaning you need documents that prove your sponsor and co sponsor's income. Also, since the consulate has information only about your fiance at this time, you will need to send basic citizenship proof of your co sponsor; generally a passport copy will do. In my case, my co sponsor did not have a passport, so I sent copy of her birth certificate and driver's license and it was accepted (Brazil consulate). For income proof, we sent W2's and full copy of the tax papers just in case, some of the pay stubs to show the most recent incomes, and a letter from their employer saying that they work in their place, doing what, how (full time, part time, etc...) and earning a estimative of how much per year. This could help too: http://www.visajourn...mp;page=support And check your "Portals" section up on the menu to find people from your country who have already done the interview and knows exactly what is accepted in Macedonia.
