K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC approval after just 4 months!	I reckon someone from CSC who is on this forum has decided to see how big a s&*t storm they can kick up. I'm really pleased for anyone who gets plucked from the stack and gets their NOA2 early. They had nothing whatsoever to do with being picked, it's got nothing to do with being fair or not, or indeed any deity you care to worship and everything to do with incompetence or deliberate action by persons unknown at CSC. Let's try not get all bent out of shape with each other over this. Having said that, when Hal called up the other day to get some information on our forms, they said we'd been skipped over as we didn't have an immediate wedding date and that's why certain other files were being expediated (personally I find it hard to believe that almost every person with an NOA1 in June/July that's been approved had an early wedding date set but maybe I'm just being cynical...) Is this normal? It just seems that everyone else has had at least one touch, I'm just getting a bit worried our files have been lost in a dark corner somewhere.... They also said they don't process in order if someone has a wedding date coming up or something like a funeral to attend... Anyone heard these before? Also he spoke to the congressman who said they couldn't do anything until after the elections so maybe next week we'll see some movement... As much as it doesn't seem it, we're all going to be approved soon and we'll look back on this and laugh when we're all together with our SOs... I'm just waiting for that day! Well about 5, but it feels like longer seeing as they're processing dates way after we submitted ours.. Does anyone know the number to call to actually speak to a human being at USCIS rather than just the machine? So I had to wait 5 months for the denial which was in april, then I appealed with supporting documents. Plus I had to wait 6 months to receive approval. But it was worth it! I had my interview yesterday and was approved!!! Thank God! Has been a long journey but well worth all the trouble! I just did not have an unabridged birth certificate, I had an abridged one (my fault for over looking that, as I was too focused on all the other paperwork.) I will be getting the unabridged one by Friday hopefully, then will just need to take that to the consulate with my passport and I will be given my visa. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Affidavit I-134 need advice!!!	Hi all, I just got my NoA2 yesterday - yay! Now were just trying to sort out the forms for the next stage. My question is regarding the I-134 specifically through the Embassy in London. According to this website it doesn't look like you need to file a I-134 but i'm a bit confused. http://london.usemba...faffidavit.html I just want to know if I have sufficient amount in savings do we NEED to file a I-134? My financial situation is a lot stronger than my fiances so it seems a bit silly to me to submit the affidavit when I have enough resources of my own to prove I will not become public charge? I am aware that the I-134 is mandatory for other countries but I would really appreciate if anyone has any direct experience of this through London - thanks!!!
