K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	What a mess It sounds all over the place like things are being done out of the usual order :/ Maybe contact the NVC and ask if they have any knowledge of your case? Or if you have an interview at the London embassy, contact them and see what they know about it? If the NVC or London have no knowledge of your case then at least you know it's still definitely a USCIS problem and maybe your fiancee can get someone involved from a higher level like a congressman? Although I really don't know about that side of things, just trying to think of possible avenues to go down :/ I'm really sorry this is happening to you guys. Wow thats alot of advice thank you. How do I go about in contacting the NVC? I wil try and call the London Embassay today and see if they have heard of my name! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Oh my f**king god this is getting beyond a joke! Last night my fiancee called the USCIS to get an update. According to them they are going to send them out by this Friday (7th December). Ok so that's like the 4th time they have lied to us. But this gets so much worse and serious. An hour later I asked my fiancee if she could ring them again because I forgot to ask about our NOA1 number since we lost it (actually one of the kittens weed on it lol!) so we could track it online. We managed to speak to someone and according to that persons' record, the letter was sent out to my UK address 3 WEEKS AGO!!! They sent it to number 42, and I am 41! Not only that, our neighbours didn't recognize my name so they put it back in the post box marking it RETURN TO SENDER!!! Apparently the interview is on the 12th December, but fiancee had to pay about $196 for the letter to be sent again registered to my correct address. I am getting frustrated and extremely annoyed! On top of that my fiancee has excess chemotherapy in her body which is poisoning her body and the doctors are not sure weather she is fit enough for her to fly over. My emotions are all over the place, I can't sleep or eat and I haven't seen her for 7 months and I am tired of all this false hope and lies they are telling us!! Not only that, they gave us the NOA1 number (starts with WAC, 13 characters in total) and it doesn't work on their website so I can't track it online!! I dunno how much I can take. What should I do?! I've heard I can get my senator involved. Is that true? How do I do that? Im in the same boat as you. It really is getting me down in the dumps but there is nothing you can do. Getting your senator involved won't do you much good as you have not yet exceeded your 6 month cut point. Have you tried calling USCIS for an update? My fiancee called last night about our status. Apparntly we should both get something in the post sometime this week. Im not getting excited about it, as they have lied to us so many times in the past. This process has been so stressful and he, I suppose, threatened to end it all yesterday. I'm pretty upset right now. I don't know who where else or who else to really mention this to but I figure some might know what this feeling is like. It hasn't ended but being this far away and not really knowing if we're gonna get through this is the most upsetting thing I have I ever experienced. I really am happy to see so many May filers approved. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else. Oh no! Im so sorry to hear what you are going through. It seems to be a reoccuring theme when the stress of receiving the NOA2 comes too much. Beleive my fiancee and I have had our arguements about it, but patience is the only thing you both can do. It seems that advice is a lot easier from when you first send the petition rather than when you are so close from getting the NOA2 I know, but hang in there. I know I am! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	To those May filers still waiting. especially those in early May who have concerns about being missed, I noted down the NOA1 dates from the last 2 days of approval (on VJ) today so far has had NOA1 dates in May of: 2nd, 14th, 15th, 23rd and 31st yesterday had NOA1 dates in May of: 8th, 8th, 14th, 24th, 24th, 25th, 29th, 29th and 30th as you can see.. they are not approving in any order, I hope that this at least helps lessen that sick feeling in the pit of the stomach a little. You want to know something that is shocking... I DON'T BELONG IN THIS GROUP!!! I just realised that I thought this is the group for people who SENT their petition in May, not for people who received their NOA1 in May! Im so sorry, should I leave? I was pretty much convincing myself that something had gone wrong and they'd lost our file or something, so my faith has been restored. I hope so much for everyone else still waiting from May to get theirs in the next few days! The relief is just unbelievable. I know I sound repetitive, but the data is pointing in your direction now. I thought it was for mustaches? Yeah and guess what?!?! Yesterday a got a message saying that DX mail left something with my neighbours!! They werent in when I got home but I am counting the hours until I get off work! If they are not in then, Im gonna have to break in lol! BTW, DX mail are the couriers who deleiver important mail from the London's USA Embassay. Im so excited I hope I get it!!!!! IMO, that is a big step for anyone to admit their problem and go seek counselling. If he can learn to be open to a counselor, then it is only a matter of time that he realizes that he should be opening to his best friend, wife and soul mate... ...You. My fiancee had got the confirmation that she is in remission and is cancer free. However she has an amount of fluid excess in her head that has built up due to the chemotherapy but apart from that she is doing good. My fiancee called the USCIS and apparently my letter from the US embassy should be with me at some point next week, which means we have our NOA2 (I think?). We haven't had the email, text or letter confirming our petition approval, so still playing the waiting game and not giving my hopes up until we get either letter lol I am so sorry about what you are going through. Once was more than enough but twice?! That man doesn't know what he had, he doesn't deserve a partner like you. Hang in there girl, you are stronger than you think! Or even a "congrats" not one. I also picked out a hair piece (tiara) and shoes. 5 of my friends went with me, drinking champagne before. LOL We had a lot of fun. The lady who was pinning my dress called them my entourage. We have the caterer set, next is invitations....which can't be sent until after Nov 26th I know that my fiancee has had 4 dress fittings already. They said that she is a size 3 (lucky for some!!). She is in love with her dress. It is the one designed by Christian Dior. Her grandparents take her and bought her this gorgeous necklace to go with it. There was only one left and another person was looking it at, so she decided to snag it before it was gone lol! But thats the only thing she has done! Myself (the man!) has already gotten quotes for the flights for my UK peeps to come over, the hotels they will be staying at, the decor, the location for the wedding and reception. Still need to get the catering sorted out, the rings and the tuxedos. Having some mental blocks on what is the best way to bring 2 families together before the wedding though. Despite the differenct cultures I thought it would be nice for both sides of the families to bond. Fallout 3 is another Bethesda game more or less among the same lines (but set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland stuck in the 1950s), also well worth playing if you manage to get bored of Skyrim (unlikely, but still!) Hang in there. The wait/having to kill time is the worst part. LOL yes my friend I love and completed that game (and all DLCs, but a huge fan of Vegas though...). I just feel that Skyrim has that 'surprise' feeling of oh, not done this before or not been there. It has that curisoity element which I think Fallout doesn't have and just makes you keep playing. Why thank you, however all couples have their trails and tribulations to go through. The main thing is getting through the other side of the tunnel together. Her cancer and this whole K-1 process rolled up in one, sure it is heavy duty on us both, especially iwth us being on the other side of the world. However we are nothing special, I am sure that there are many other couples who have been through what we have if not worse. Just taking everything one day at a time. I tell you one game that just sucks us in is Skyrim (fantasy world, slay dragons, killing orcs, drinking wine and singing etc...) and I kid you not this game just distracts you from everything. This weekend seemed like only mere hours. And hey, anything to get her mind of all the bad things my fiancee has been through is a blessing. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2012 Filers	Hi Brock - it doesn't sound like they followed through with the expedite, December doesn't sound right. but at least, you know its coming - there was a lot of April filers being approved today, they still have some March to go through, but if April is going strong, then May can't be too far behind, they have sped up significantly, I think it will be sooner than you all think, May filers will start seeing approvals early November if not before that, I wouldn't be surprised if some started trickling in last week of October actually. I hope so. sounds like you guys have a nice little plan going on, a visit, and a wedding dress fitting, its nice that she has something else to focus on rather than her surgery, that will help her get well quickly, speaking of, best of luck for her surgery, when does she go in? At this point SweetDelish, as long as we haven't been denied then we are happy to wait. Not so happy that they tell us its been expedited then tell us we will hear in December, but at least it hasnt been denied. Wow really? I had no idea. At this rate yes then it would be great if us May filers will hear something by November. We were planning anyway that I would leave the UK in March (so I have time to pack, quit my job, tell businesses that I am moving, wedding booking etc..), so even if say I had the interview in February it wouldnt be much of a problem because of our plan being so far off on the calender. Better late than early in this case lol!!! Just so much to book and plan for the wedding its gonna be such a rush when I do get my Visa lol! Yeah I wasnt allowed to go for the wedding fitting (shame because I SOOOOOOOO wanna see it now that I know who it was designed by!!), and she adores it!! Not only that we have an idea about where my family is going to stay, our theme (so proud of it, it is gonna be red, white and blue. Like the colours of our flags!!!), catering, flowers, decor, location. We both know what we want its just booking it all lol! Thank you for the best wishes. She has her surgery next Monday, but doctors are confident that it will be a success. Just wish I could be there for her. Work wouldnt let me stay because despite me working in a company that employes over 1,000 people, there are only 2 people woking in IT. The other guys is off for a month. Yeah and that's what I don't get. Having saying that I saw their recent statistics and apparntly in September they were still having over 18,000 applications to go through in VSC. Makes me wonder how may people do they employee lol! Hopefully if the surgery goes well she said that she wants to fly over to the UK and meet my family before we get married. I thought we would call the USCIS today to see if any good news might cheer her up. According to one of the officers on the other end of the line, our NOA2 is expected to be mailed or received by 12th December. Although I am not impressed and was slighly dishearten by this news, she seemed to be really happy about this. Maybe we will be able to spend our first Christmas together finially, but seeing as our expedite request was approved, surely it would come before 12th December? Anyway, I am just waffling on. I'd thought i would let you guys know that people who received their NOA1 at the end of May will seem to have their NOA2 beginning of December more or less in my opinion.
