So apply for the K1 visa first and wait until your approved and then focus on to the interview and your case is straight forward like most people and plus the CO at the embassy are only doing their jobs ok. Hi Send these forms back to the embassy ok DS-230 ParI, 2 x DS-156, DS-156k, 2 x DS157, then book yourself for a medical either at Knightsbridge or Bentnick Manisons. You will need your vaccinations records for your medical exam so book an appointment with your GP to have them ready. Have your Police certificate ready as well a passport photo size and your passport to take with when you attend the medical exam. Then you write a cover letter to the embassy informing them that you are ready for an interview, state when you have had your medical exam or when is booked for plus incude when you plan to marry your fiancé and add your address and contact info with da DS 2001 ok Hope this helps good luck and plus if you need help always ask becoz there are great people on this site who have more knowledge and are ready to help ok	MH25	Male	0	2012-03-18 19:43:00

Once we are married, I will be moving to the states. We were planning on getting married in September this year, however due to the processing times, its highly unlikely we will have approval by then. Our plan was to get married in september and then I will return to the UK and wait until the K1 visa is approved. Is this legal, or will it jeopardise our K1 visa application? My fiance and I are (hopefully) expecting our NOA2 in the next couple of weeks and wanted to know what the next steps in the process are. 1) What fee's do you have to pay at the embassy and how much? Also how much does the medical cost? 2) Can request my police cert now, or do I have to wait till the Embassy receive my case? 3) I've heard the Embassy ask for further proof of ongoing relationship. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Passport Stuck at US Embassy after Approval at Interview	Does anyone know whether a wait time of over 3 weeks for passport after K1 interview is usual?? Have emailed the consulate & received reply stating 'Your application is still being processed... there is no set period of time that visa processing will take'. They kept my passport and gave me the pink slip to give to the courier desk so am under the impression that my case hasn't gone into AP but I've been waiting longer than the '7-10 days' I was advised on the day of the interview. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	AM I TOO LATE?!?	On our NOA1 it is stated, that the approval expires 24th of March. I've finally managed to gather all required documents for P3 and sent them on the 25th of February. But I've just read on other forum, that it takes about 4-6 weeks before they call to schedule an appointment. Is that true? Does it mean i missed my deadline?! Because if they call in 4 weeks, I'll already be over my deadline! Or since I've already sent out my documents, i'm all good? What does it mean that approval expires on such and such date anyway? What expires? Does it mean that I have to manage to actually have the visa before that date? I live in London, so will it help if I go to the embassy personally and...i don't know...tell them to hurry?:-) Does anyone know what will happen now? What to do? Any advice?!help! I'm an Australian national currently living in London (have been here just under three years, on the Ancestry Visa, so have full working and living rights until it expires in June 2008, but don't have UK citizenship or full residential status). My fiancé is about to file the first documentation in our K-1 journey, and I was wondering if anyone knows whether I'll be able to go for my interview at the US consulate here in London, or if they'll only process things through the US consulate in Aus. I currently hold two part-time jobs - one three days a week, the other two - so therefore have TWO things to fill in that will be 'June 2006 - present'. I've put them one after the other - main job first - with the dates as shown above; does anyone know if this is going to be a problem? (and because you can't save the form after typing into it, I've printed two versions - one has '(Part time job)' after each one in the Employers section, and the other doesn't... ideally I'd have put it in the 'Position' column but of course there's not enough room. Which should I send?) 2. When I first moved to London I worked through an agency, and got work in two different schools. I hope you understand what I am trying to say? I'm new to all this and may be completely wrong, but as I understand it you can quite honestly say you don't intend to marry DURING THAT VISIT, which is the truth; you intend to marry her later... the concerns seem to arise about someone entering the US on a tourist visa, to marry before they leave; that wouldn't be what you're doing.
