I'm on packet 3 I think. I was forwarded a letter via the mail which then told me to go to the following website: http://london.usemba...a/iv/iv_15.html

I've filled every document out on that page, however I am unsure which ones I send to the embassy address. Is it all of them or certain ones? The website doesn't make its self very clear.

most probably not...not including a boarding pass will definitely not get you an RFE...but did you include passport pages stamped? The USCIS just wants proof that you met within 2 years of filing...whether that is in the form of boarding passes or copies of passport pages stamped<this is a more authentic source than the boarding passes...
And about how you did not specify how you met online...did you write your statement of meeting on a sheet of paper? notarized? It depends on how much info you included, the more details, the better...but there is no saying Yes/No you will/won't get an RFE for this part...depends on the officer reviewing your file...
But no need to worry, you will be fine!

Were also a little confused about birth certificates, is there a way to speed the process up on getting the full certificate? We only used the small one because at the time we didnt even know a full one existed in Alaska.

We have already done the I-134 and my fiances mother has agreed to be the cosponsor so is it right that she also need to complete the I-134 or does she complete the I-864?
Regarding the police certificate, I don't have any police records or convictions etc, do I still need to get a certificate to say I have no records?

My American Fiance and I received the NOA1 notice just over 2 months ago. From what I have read, it seems like the average waiting time for the visa is 5-9months. I would just like to know if there is stuff we should be doing whilst we wait for the NOA2? We are just sitting and waiting but don't know if we should be doing anything else in the process.
Any help would be great.

Little analysis based on my own data: I moved up from position 166 to 130 since the last list came out 12 days ago. That's an average of 3 CSC approvals per day, a slow-down due almost certainly to the holiday period. Based on my own timeline, this still puts my estimated NOA2 about 10-12 days earlier than the VJ timeline predicts. Hopefully now that the bulk of July filers have been processed we'll see that difference widen.

It's on the NOA1 hard copy, or on the back of the check you sent them. My check was cashed within a week or so, so I was able to get the # from the back of the online image & then sign up at the USCIS website to track.

The flight from England usually takes about 22-26 hours if you go through the east coast. However, I found a really good deal on a student travel site for a ticket through Reykjavik that will get him into Seattle in 11 hours, a 4 hour layover then just a quick 4 hr flight up to alaska! So I guess that's still 19 hours, but oh well! Unless something goes wrong, he will be coming over in mid February.

James got a letter in the mail today saying that no response had been received. He called and they confirmed that the P3 we returned was lost. We're going to resubmit it Monday I think; it was originally submitted September 18th.

To apply for a marriage license in Alaska, both parties must have their Social Security numbers, ID, appear in person and sign after taking an oath. There is a 3 day waiting period before you can pick it up and it's only valid for 3 months. Does it usually take very long to be issued a SS number?

I remember you from the K1 process! Hope you're well?

I paid the $85 for my biometrics and also paid another $85 for my son!

The filing fee was $505 right, plus $85 for biometrics? I actually paid $675 which is why I am confused.

I may just call them as it seems I paid for his biometrics when he did not have anything taken.

So just went to have my biometrics done.

Was surprised that although USCIS took money off us for both me and my son (8 years), he did not have to have his retaken. :wacko:

So what did I actually pay an extra $85 for is my question?

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

The lady called through to the USCIS office and they assured us that he did not need to have his prints or photo taken again.

It's not a NOA but we did receive a 'Verification of Inclusion of a Dependent' notification for our son.

Which does include my receipt number. :thumbs:

So at least I know the ball is rolling!

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to this but have been having a good peek at the forums on here and they've helped me so much. So thanks for that!

It's my partner that has filed for the K1 visa as he is an American citizen, but all this would be double dutch to him so i thought i would give it a go.

Not sure where to begin.

We have our NOA1 already which has been dated 31st October 2007.

What do I post on here next? Duh?

I'm still shocked at the length of time it takes to go through this although I've been over a number of times and will be going over again in the New Year.

Absence really does make the heart grow fonder!!
