Anyone ever had multiple e-mails for the same thing? BRAVO STEVEN and JINKY !!!! seems like you got your RFE e-mail today also. Dup I would say. I second that! The Manila Embassy is assigned interview dates at a max of 90 days out. I know that it drove me absolutely madd because I sat around thinking... How freakin' hard is it to assign an interview date? A K-1 can't apply until they enter the U.S. "How to Apply for a Social Security Number Card Before your fiancé(e) arrives in the United States, you can help her or him apply for a social security number card. " Every link to the USCIS Website is no good. LOL! They don't know their own rules. You are absolutely correct about K1 visa beneficiaries can not apply for a SSN until they arrive, and that line is absolutely incorrect. I have not tested the links within the new USCIS website for SSA yet, but I definitely believe you. Hopefully they will eventually correct the links. I was chatting with BJZags about this very thing... This process is confusing enough without receiving incorrect information from agencies that don't even know their own policies, procedures, and rules. Godness gracious.
