K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC 08/22 NAO2 finally received at nvc	Call DOS!!! NAO2 8/22.  Our apps are finally being received at NVC.  No case number yet but should have by wednesday.  Def a lot better knowing that they have arrived and we dont have to worry that they are lost.  So all my August NAO2 friends call DOS 1-202485-7600 Shorter wait time and nicer customer agents. Awesome!  Congrats!  I am hoping the government impending shut down won't hurt us too bad.  Ours was 9/4 and we are ready to roll once the petition get to Germany. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	E-mail with a case number.	Hello everyone! I have a question to people who got their case number from NVC. Did everyone of you got an e-mail with the case numer? Or maybe you got it only by calling them and never recive an e-mail? I wonder if it is just a sense calling case the line is always busy. Maybe it is just better to wait for an e-mail or just send them e-mails with request? I got my case number by calling.  No email or hardcopy yet but it has only been a couple days.  The best time to reach NVC is in the morning at 7:00 EST.  You can send them an email also but I would suggest calling.  Also if you call in the late afternoon they tend to pick up also.  I got my case  number at 3:00 PM. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC and NVC , what is going on?	It seems that the transfer of I129F-NOA2 files from CSC to NVC is getting so slow or even no movement at all. This is so frustrating! What is happening or causing of the delays? If you can see the trend, the line graph for NOA2 to NVC had gone up, way up compared with May-July 2013. To know from other VJers who have August NOA2 receipts that they haven't gotten their case numbers is so disheartening.   How much longer do we all need to wait? Oh, I only can pray for more patience and perseverance.      We received our NOA2 in 37 days and it took 42 days (exactly 6 weeks) to get the case number yesterday.  Hang in there!  It will come.  Until they give you the case number try to take everything anyone says with a grain of salt.  They don't all know what they're talking about. I don't know which one he would've put. Your petition will be forwarded to the NVC.  After the NVC reviews it they will assign a Case Number and forward it onto your consulate.  They know which one to send it to.  Hope this helps! That is all he needs to get into the US embassy. He just needs to bring his passport. The medical will be faxed to the embassy. GOOD LUCK - let us know the results on the 27th!!!! We filled out our packet 3 to say that Eric wanted to leave germany on dec 15th, that is why our interview is a little later than yours.   Amanda Congrats!! Yes, we emailed the embassy but sometimes it takes a couple of days to return the email.  I called DOS yesterday twice to ensure I heard them correctly, LOL!  Yes, we filled out the Tichi wanted to leave December 1st.    We will let you know as soon as we hear.  His appointment is at 8 in the morning so he will know before I wake up. She just asked me my receipt number from USCIS, my full name, and the date of my birth. She said my case it is still at NVC, but finally I got the number. Good luck July Filers!!!!!!! From what I've read it can be as short as a day or two.  Hopefully.  I will call back and talk to a supervisor at NVC.  It has been 6 days today.  I know that is not much compared to what people have waited.  Considering our NOA2 took 37 days it should NOT be any additional background checks.  It should have something to do with processing which is dumb! Is the next step "In transit"? Ours is now in additional processing which is a black hole at NVC because there are no reasons why.  Hopefully yours does not fall into the same category. It is already "IN TRANSIT" ..We are very thrilled..   Is yours in transit as well, Tichi&Rachel? Awesome!  Still "At NVC"  for us.  By the timelines for Germany it is normally 2-4 days on average before they were sent out so hopefully not too much longer. I also want to see who this Sept. 5 lucky person is =D Thanks! Sure.  Click on the "Immigration Timeline" tab above.  Then click on the left middle of the page "K1 Stats".  A grid like the Igor one comes up.  Click on K1 VIsa under "Common Visas." drop down.  Then you will want to enable advanced more on the right of the screen and then sort by "NVC Received" date.   Hope this helps! Wooo Hoooo!! Let's hope more September NOA2 case #'s are issued today!  C'mon NVC!! woo hooO!! Saw that.  Still don't have September 4th cases or 3rd for that matter.  LOL!  But, I'm glad to see one was touched from September.  I know there was an I130 from Septmeber also. I'm just hoping I could still make December interviews I hope so.  Called this morning and NVC still does not have our case they say.  Today marks 6 weeks (42 days).  I am seeing more of a trend of 44-48 though now so we will see. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 K-1 Visa Filers	SooOOoo just called USCIS again to check status on shipment as the NVC still hasn't received case. I was told the following by the USCIS agent, "USCIS has between 30-90 days to actually ship your packet to the National Visa Center. All documents both newly issued and originally submitted must be gathered together by us before we will ship your packet to them."  <<>>  As far as she could tell, my case has yet to be shipped. It's been approved for 25 days now, not as long as others on here but seriously??  This is the first I've ever heard them state this. Has anyone else heard this from USCIS regarding CSC filers?      They have never said that to me.  The tier 2 rep I spoke with said that if NVC does not have our case after 45 days to call back and escalate the "referral" I have already put in.    I believe that each person on here gets another song and dance when the talk to CIS.  It is looking like they are going through August 28th and 29th CSC filers now.  I did see an I130 from CSC that had a September 3rd approval finally go through so we shall see.  I am thinking we should have our number by Friday or at latest next Tuesday. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 K-1 Visa Filers	NVC question  :      We got approved Oct. 1st  - application sent to NVC Oct. 3.   I'm not sure when they received it, because I waited till today (2 weeks from NOA2) to call to give them some time.  I got my case number today when I called and just checked the status online.   It says "At NVC"  ... which makes sense, but then also says     Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) for the next step in the processing of your visa petition. If you have misplaced the instructions sent to you by the NVC or did not receive them, please contact us at http://travel.state..../info_3177.html for additional information.   Is that normal? Is there something I'm supposed to be doing before they send it over to the embassy?  I didn't expect there to be instructions or something sent to me, and I certainly haven't received anything yet? NVC sends you a letter with your case number.  Chances are it will probably hit the embassy before you receive that letter.  The beneficiary will have to wait for word on packet 3. NOA2's dated Sept 1 to 15 will be sent out Oct. 15 to NVC! They're hoarding them all anyway. Is this too much to ask? >.<   This will lessen the calls they get and they don't have to be bishes to customers that call. So what if the petition was approved quickly, that means we have no right to follow up after waiting weeks? LOL. The horror. Every person I have talked to there has not divulged this information.  I know there are some people on this site who have been told that their petitions were shipped but I have talked to tier 2 reps who have been very evasive with direct questions.  Hopefully we hear something this week! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 K-1 Visa Filers	I show one noa2 august 28 that got their case number today... they were from csc... hope next week they will start with september noa2... =) I hope so too!  I am hoping for 44 days.  That is seeming to be more of the trend so possibly next Friday for us.    I spoke with a Tier 2 rep at CIS today and she couldn't understand why I was frustrated.  She said our case was adjudicated in 37 days and there are people still waiting from May.  I told her I felt bad for those people but this has nothing to do with being approved.  It has to do with shipping a package from one point to another.  She said if after 45 days NVC has not received our case to call back and push through a follow up on the referral that was created.    For now the weekend is here and we can all relax for a couple days while NVC and CIS regroup.  LOL! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 K-1 Visa Filers	Haha - that was the quote of the week - 5 weeks for mail to go to NH from CA!   I just can't help but wonder what the heck they are doing holding those files for so long before sending them - it would only be conjecture on my part anyway.   At any rate, as long as this all works out - I'm just anxious since as the USC I now have a firm date to end my job in Australia and am negotiating a start date for a new job in the USA.  After all, they expect me to have a job offer as proof of financial resources, but it makes it hard until I know when the heck we can get an interview date!   At least we are living together, and I can only imagine it must be tough for those of you having to live apart while waiting for this "quicker" pathway to be reunitied (sarcasm intended). Blah! Oh well, like you said, fast approval fortunately. We were approved in 51 days (much faster than I had imagined when I initially filed). Just praying a miracle happens and he's here by the end of the year.  Hoping you receive great news soon! I'll send many good vibes your way for a case # THIS WEEK!!! Thank you!  I wrote that to the ombudsman and our senator.  I said that I feared the package was lost because I did not realize it took five weeks for mail to go from California to New Hampshire.  LOL!    I am pretty sure it is not and I hope that we possibly have a case number on the 37th day as that would make our NOA2 37 days and the NVC receipt 37 days.  Wishful thinking though!   Here's hoping all of us hear soon and get things moving so we can be with our loved ones soon!!!! Coz they said you can email them if it's already 30 days and still no update on the case... i read that from some post in some forum... so that you can make sure that your case is not lost and they can tell you where your case is seating... I emailed CSC and they said if you have not entered a formal complaint with a Tier 2 official they cannot do anything via email.  I did not want to have a call back from CSC since the trend has been six weeks.   I emailed the ombudsman liason also and due to the shutdown their offices are closed.  They will help after 30 days and oversee complaints with regards to USCIS.  I have also emailed my senator and not heard back (surprise, surprise)!    I basically check the Immigration Timelines here everyday and am hearing that people are being approved from the last week of August though no one on Visa Journey has posted such yet.  This is from other groups on FB.    Other than that Tichi has everything he needs to get the ball rolling when it makes it to Germany.  I will keep you posted though!
