We looked at the sample questions and then also the embassy reviews. I must have read all of them and then Isa read them all as well. Just relax on that day and be honest and everything will be fine. The hardest part is over. Good luck

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionSOME INTERVIEW TIPS
Hello everybody!!!

My interview date is on October 10th and I am in panic already!!! I checked a while ago before I started my K1 journey some interview questions somewhere in the forum. Well, I cant find them anymore so I would love to know what exactly you will be asked that BIG day; especially when I will be by myself that day since my fiance cant ask for permission from work. The interview date is too soon so he cant take some days off. Anyway, I would love to hear your tips, stories, questions or something I can read about. Thank you so much in advance!!! good.gif

US Citizenship General DiscussionNeed help!!!!!

The only way to Immigrate to the USA is through a Work Visa sponsored by a corporation needing skilled labor, or family based immigrations through a family member already in the USA and is a citizen, or the diversity visa program. All these options requires leaving the USA and applying for a proper immigrations visa.

A good place to start. http://travel.state....types_1326.html

To stay after a visitors visa expires it to remain in the USA illegally, illegal immigrations as you know is a hot subject in the USA.

Hello!! well i passed through that experience. I went to the USA as a tourist, then I wanted to stay and I changed my status as a student. However, your friend needs to study full time. After September 11th, everything has changed so tell your friend he needs to have money because he will pay double tuition since he is not a resident or citizen. ANd he needs to study full time. But remember, he will have student status (F1) but he will keep his tourist visa until he changes his visa. I didnt go back to my country while I had my student status. My lawyer told me not to do it because that was very risky since I wasnt a tourist anymore. When he finishes the college or university, he will have one year of work permit. If he finds the love of his life during all this time, he will be lucky enough to stay in the USA and get married. And he will be able to change his status and be a resident.

Good luck!! good.gif
