Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Can I apply for the citizenship in a year??	Hello I know that you can apply for the American citizenship after three years of being a resident but does it apply after the first two years? you know, when you have the conditional residence? or is it after the 10 year resident card? Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I didnt send a cover letter!!!	Oh my God!!! I just realized i forgot to put my cover letter in the package i sent last week..so many papers!! so many copies!!! I was shredding all the copies I made(and I had a lot!!!) and I realized that the cover letter was misplaced I hope we won't have any problems!! Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 June 2011 Filers	Hello everybdoy!!! Congratulations to all who have been approved so far!! Finally VSC is moving!!!! Well, I received my green card last Tuesday woohoo!!! I thought i was going to receive it next month or so because according to the letter, i would receive it within 60 days but it came two weeks later!!! I can finally rest and I think I am going to wait until next year to start my citizenship and hopefully will be done with UCSIS..... I am sooooo happy to inform you all that after months of waiting, I finally got my approval!!!!!, date of decision: 02/08/2012!!!! that's a wonderful Valentine's Day gift!!!!and the best part was that we didnt have to go for an interview!!!! i was almost 100% sure, we needed to go for an interview because I had one back in Peru when I got my fiance visa. But, having the letter with me and reading over and over: "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are demmed to be a lawful permanent resident of The United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status. You should receive a new Permanent Residence Card, form I-551 )green card), within 60 days. Do any of you know how long more we have to wait in order to get our 10 year card??? Since I got mine without interview (the conditional one), I guess i will have an interview in order to get my permanent one???? Here is the documents : - tax return 2008/ 2009/2010 - certificate of marriage - 2 birthday certificate of our babies - lease of rent ( both of in our name) - statement bank ( both of our name) - document fro IRS ( both of our name) - copy of my green card - copy of passport - and application I-751 So just let you know guys and need feedback from you. So many news in one day!!!!!!......then I waited a couple of days and I called the embassy and they asked me for my case number (you have to provide the new case number the NVC gave you) and they told me they scheduled my interview for October 10th at 8:45am!!!!!! and they also told me that my package was delivered to my house that day (09/18) and i should receive it in 5 working days!!!! LOTS OF PATIENCE!!! and try to communicate eachother......I was very sad at the beginning of our journey because he couldnt come to visit me since he bought a new house for us!!!!...but he told me he hasnt decorated the house yet!. Talk to a live operator and give him /her your case number, the name of the petitioner, beneficiary and the date of births. The opartor will give you the date your package was sent to NVC and the date it was sent to the consulate in your country.
