well you have to bring all the paper that they need, but when I went to my interview they pay so much attention to my proud about how we meet, I bring all recipt of gifts, flower, hotel, ticket, engagement ring, mail.
Other think that help was a letter of presentation of my wx work, because demostrate that I no was caming because I dont have nothing to do there.

MMMM ME OLVIDABA ANTES DE QUE TE LO LEGALICE EL MINISTERIO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES TIENS QUE IR A LA RENIEC ESTA AHI CERCA FRENTE LA GALERIA CENTRAL EN ABANCAY Y LO DEJAS PARA QUE CERTIFIQUE LA PARTIDA, EN ESA SEDE DE LA RENIEC LO HACEN EN UN DIA EN LOS DESCENTRALIZADOS DEMORAN 4 DIAS, LO QUE YO HICE FUE DEJE UNA COPIA EN EL TRADUCTOR PARA QUE AVANZARA Y LUEGO LLEVE LA PARTIDA A LA RENIEC Y AL DIA SIGUIENTE TEMPRANO RECOGI LA PARTIDA DE RENIEC LUEGO LO LLEVE AL TRADUCTOR ME LA ENTREGARON Y LUEGO LO LLEVE AL MINISTERIO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES SI LLEGAS ANTES DE LAS 11 AM TE LA ENTREGAN EL MISMO DIA.

BUENO YO TE CONTARE QUE YA TENGO MI RESIDENCIA Y EL UNICO DOCUMENTO QUE TRAJE TRADUCIDO Y CERTIFIADO POR EL MINISTERIO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES FUE MI PARTIDA DE NACIMIENTO.
PERO OJO QUE LA TRADUCCION TIENE QUE SER UNA TRADUCCION OFICIAL EN LA PUERTA DEL MINISTERIO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES ENCUENTRAS MUCHOS TRADUCCTORES PERO NO SON RECONOCIDOS POR EL MINISTERIO SI LLEVAS UNA TRADUCCION DE ESAS PIERDES TU PLATA PORQUE LA GENTE DEL MINISTERIO NO TE LA LEGALIZA.
ENTRA AL LOBBY DEL MINISTERIO Y AHI EN LA PIZARRA ESTAN LOS NOMBRES Y DIRECCIONES DE LOS TRADUCCTORES AUTORIZADOS LA MAYORIA QUEDAN POR LA ZONA CERCA AL DIARIO EL COMERCIO.

Hola a todos, bueno despues del proceso ya estoy casada con mi amorcito y feliz por eso, el problema es que mi ingles necesita perfeccionarse he buscado informacion sobre cursos en Virginia pero no encuentro si alguien conoce sobre el tema y me puede ayudar lo agradeceria mucho, soy peruana y extra;o mucho mi Peru.

hola amigas y amigos hize este foro para las peruanas ke tengan o esten pasando por el proceso de visa K1 nos den sus experiencias o sus dudas y por favor las ke ya pasaron por ese proceso nos den sus experiencias de las entrevistas de como les ha ido y sus preguntas

vi un foro de colombia y haya las chicas son muy unidas espero ke las peruanas seremos igual ya ke estamos pasando por este largo proceso.

Ok first thanks to all the people who support me in that moment, kay,keila,lina,Clay,Becky, etc. Well me and Maurice arrived at 8 00 am, our interview was 8 45 am, First u have to do well the DS 156 we went to a " tramitador" before the interview cause our DS 156 was with a bit mistakes, believe it or not it helped he fix the form, then we got into the embassy we had to wait A LOT, there was 3 or more fiances and girls alone, then the secretary called me number 13 ventanilla window is a blond girl with blue eyes very nice secretary not like the others urg first the secretary asked me all my papers 1- Partida de Nacimiento, Certificado Policianles, penales , judiciales, voucher with the forms DS156 and DS156K ( u have to do a duplicate of that two forms Ds156 and DS156K a photocopy of each, DS156 it fill by internet)

Then the secretary asked you for the AFFIDAVIT of ur fiance , his letter of employment, bank letter, his taxes this is important only the last year but if u want you have to bring two years, better make a photocopy of the taxes of the last year it stay with the secretary.

Then she asked how did u guys know each other?
How many times he came to peru ? if u had a visa denied etc, then if all is good u have to wait for the final interview with the consul.

I remark u that its very important the DS156 also they asked u for ur medical exam.

After that we have to wait to the consul A LOT OK was eleven o clock in the morning and all the consuls was eating i think, i was called to the window 15 its a small room i freaked out cause i ve told that this room was dangerous but DON'T WORRY it doesn't matter.

I was interview with a black consul the moreno consul i was freaking out too cause a friend told me that he was baddd so i was so worried

This consul likes a lot of proof so i took as a proff

Messenger Conversations

Even he is serious he is nice when u talk he is looking the pc but listening he read the emails and saw my pictures asked me how did we meet each other? How many times he came to peru exactly dates and he said APPROVED

U guys have to take a lot of proof I also Higly recommend that u went with ur fiance !!!

just get a couple of copies, fill them out, get one for you, send one to the embassy on regular mail and bring one to the interview, we know its optional but just in case do the optional stuff...
