Is there a reason why you're waiting on correspondence from NVC? As long as the IV bill shows as PAID in the payment portal, you can send the IV package.

I have a quick question who sends the DS-230 packet? The petitioner or the beneficiary? Also, i haven't received any packet regarding DS-320 from NVC but i got an email from them with a checklist that they need the DS-320 form!

Since you don't have a signature, WHEN did you send the DS-3032?

It typically takes 1-2 weeks for them to get to the email and review it.

Thank you for the information. My brother's wedding is in end of April(Approx 7 Months). So we have couple of months in our hand. Like you said getting a tourist visa is next to impossible at this point of time.
So I belive I would have to wait for my i-130 petition to be approved. I was just thinking if there was an alternative and faster way.

So which visa should I go for K3 or IR-1/CR-1?

Hi,

I am a U.S Citizen and my husband is a Indian Citizen. I have filed i-130 petition 1 week back.

I need to get my husband in U.S asap. I did go through the guides but I am still confused. What should I do in this case as I have already filed i-130 petition.

Can my husband try to apply for a visa when I recieve the reciept of i-130 petition(that it is in process) from USCIS ?
If yes could you please provide the instructions. If no what is the fastest possible way.

Note: All I want is for him to be present for my brother's weddding.

It won't be an address problem on YOU.

It will be an issue with the I-864, with the concept of your husband's USA Residency, His USA Domicile.

If he's maintained his Domicile in the USA, no problem. If he's not maintained his USA Domicile, he needs to show proof of re-establishing domicile.

Either is shown on interview day.



wait i don't get it staying abroad with your spouse for a long period of time can cause a problem? I'm the USC and I'm currently staying with my husband in India and I'm planing on staying till his case gets approved so we can go back together.

I have been waiting for a while now, my wife's AP has now been going on for over 6 months now. I just came back from Pakistan as well but don't think could wait any longer so just accepted a job in the Middle East. Does any one know if that will affect our case? I am going to send an email to the embassy to get her passport back. 
 
Don't understand the long wait for our AP but I have stopped trying to make sense of the AP process.


I'm thinking of doing the same thing bro... Better get the passport back and apply else where.. They don't need it before the final verdict anyway

Diana o quien me pueda responder, resulta que parece que me pueden dar otra copia de mis vacunas en Bogota, pero eso tardaria un par de dias en llegar si me lo envian por correo, mi pregunta es: sera que puedo enviar una copia de ese documento escaneada en el paquete de ajuste o tiene que ser una original? mi esposo esta inquieto porque dice que si en los requisitos que ellos piden dice el chequeo medico general, porque solo enviar el comprobante de vacunas? y yo he tratado de explicarle que no se necesita porque apenas hace tres meses me vacunaron y el medico de aqui solo querria sacarnos dinero por una firma.

Que piensan de eso por favor?

Otra pregunta; mi residencia es por dos anos expira en Marzo del 2015, dice residente permanente.

 

Yo no se muy bien cual es el siguiente paso a seguir. Ajuste de estatus es pedir residencia por 10 anos? entonces yo no puedo aplicar a la ciudadanía antes que se venza esta tarjeta que ahora tengo? Perdona Diana mi ignorancia pero estos temas de inmigración son muy confusos para mi y mi esposo sabe menos que yo.

Mi familia es bien chiquita, mi esposo, mi gata y yo, por lo tanto las actividades familiares se reducen un poquito, vamos al gym 5 veces a la semana porque a las 10:am tengo entrenamiento personalizado, lo bueno es que somos un grupo de mujeres y esto me ha permitido poder relacionarme un poquito, en mi sector los latinos son muy pocos, la verdad con los unicos que he tenido la oportunidad de cruzar palabra son los que hacen el mantenimiento aqui en la casa pero nadie mas.

Salimos cada fin de semana a los estrenos de cine y aunque no son tituladas me divierto con las pelicuals y me esfuerzo por mejorar en el idioma, en mi casa no hay tv latina por lo tanto el proceso de aprendizaje se facilita, el proximo mes entrare a la escuela a estudiar ingles como segunda lengua, asi que espero eso me mantenga mas ocupada, tambien estoy estudiando para mi licencia de conduccion, aveces vamos a centros comerciales, a restaurantes , especialmente vietnamitas que a mi esposo le encanta la comida , pero mas alla de eso no se que mas hacer, me da la impresion de que si no se tiene una familia grandecita, lo mejor es tener amigas con quien pasar el tiempo y hacer planes, porque una solita esta en la olla jajaja!.

Soy nueva en el foro pero he leido sus post y me gustaria contar con su ayuda, pues estoy en proceso de ajuste de estatus y ando como estresada con tanta cosa, aveces siento que este papeleo es de nunca acabar.

Les cuento que perdi o no se donde guarde la copia de vacunas que me entregaron en Bogota y ahora la necesito para presentarla al doctor, ya llame a la Dr en Bogota y me dijo la asistente que debo esperar hasta el Miercoles para ver si la Dr la autoriza a sacarme otra copia y que un familiar la reclame.

Alguno de ustedes conoce un caso similar y si es asi, podrian darme ideas de como sobrellevar esta situacion?

I had my interview for L1-B blanket visa( Intracompany transfer) on 25th april. and for the 1 st in this 3 months time my status date got updated fron 25th april to 26th july, but the status is same showing still under adminstractive processing.

 

Ahmed did your status date changed only or the status also showed that your visa is issued.

Is it a positive sign of just status date change and any hope that the visa will be issued soon.
