K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Same Sex K-1 I-129F Filed	my NAO2 was 8/22.  no RFE's!!  the ones that folks have been saying they get are, in my opinion, discriminatory!!  We shouldnt have to show proof where we intend to marry at this stage of the process.  I received my NVC case number last night, FINALLY!!!!!!  hopefully will be complete with packet 3 and scheduling the interview soon.  I will make sure though, that with all the RFE's happening to same sex couples, that I will bring proof etc of where we will marry to the interview just in case they want to ask it at that point. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Same Sex K-1 I-129F Filed	People from TSC might be receiving their cases within 10-14 days, but their cases are taking between 4-5 months to be processed... your case was processed very well under the average time so you are still in time for the rest of the process... your entire process will probably be completed and other people´s cases that were sent around the same date you sent yours will still be pending.... so no worries.. it is not the same sex thing... it is just a delay... just keep tracking it and call NVC every weekI Thanks for reminding me to see the bright side.  I call a couple times a week lol.  I can feel it though..............this week is the week!!!  My fiance is still waiting for the NBI from manila to get here and she is getting her vaccinations on Wednesday so maybe we were supposed to have a delay so we can make sure we have every i dotted and t crossed before we fax packet 3 back to the consulate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Same Sex K-1 I-129F Filed	getting very disappointed at the uscis.  Received my NAO2 on 8/22/13 and still the NVC hasnt received my packet.  They say it can take up to 8 weeks but according to VJ timelines vermont and texas are receiving theirs within 10-14 days.  ugh come on California....mail my stuff to the NVC already!!   Starting to wonder if they are slow becuase of the same sex filing or are they just that slow.   I just want my case number so that my mind will be at ease that we as a community finally do get a chance to be with our loved ones on American soil. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Same Sex K-1 I-129F Filed	Hello all,   I have already received my NAO2 on 8/22/13 and yesterday received the letter stating that my packet is now on its way to the NVC.  I'm sure all of you can imagine the elation I felt when the NAO2 came, to now know that they can not tell us no anylonger, and are definitely not....at this point anyways.  Me and my girlfriend are hoping that we will have her visa by beginning of november.  We have already collected all that is required for packet 3 so bring it on NVC!! My whole career is on hold now since march and my team mates are having bouts and 1 is being touted now as a title prospect but I have to wait thanks to the 'fair' USCIS way of doing things! We recieved the noa 2 and then 7 weeks later the case got forwarded from nvc to the consulate. But I have no idea when the nvc recieved it.   literally we rang the nvc and they said oh we have just sent your package to the consulate.   Then a mail came the next day in the post, so we now had a case number    I believe they also state not to ring the nvc until 6 weeks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	accurate processing time	Everything is an estimate at this point.  After going through almost every processing time I could find I was expecting our NOA2 in at least 2.5-3 more weeks if not longer, however we received it this past Monday, which was 26 days from NOA1.  It was made worse since everyone was saying Philippines was getting theirs due to the typhoon, so I thought that these numbers were skewed and I was actually thinking the worst, but that definitely was not the case.      I mean, we can always speculate, and I guess I can myself as well saying that Thailand is getting fast approvals now due to the political situation, but again, most, if not all of us do not have any concrete information.  It's a terrible waiting game at this point, we all just have to hang in there. My K1 visa has been approved and gone to NVC and my fiance (in Canada) has already completed the Package 3 sent to him from Montreal. I just called USCIS to change my address here (United States) because I moved from one house to another in the same state. The lady on the phone changed the address for me and told me to update my address with NVC on Monday.  Now that I go to USCIS website to check my status, It shows initial review. My status was showing Post Decision Activity before I changed my address, but now its showing Initial Review. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE after a month is asking for the same thing:(	What have you been sending as evidence?  That might be the issue.  Do your pictures have time-date stamps?  Did you send copies of the passport stamps that you were in the same country?  Bank statements that you used your bank funds while in that country?  Pictures (date-stamped) of the 2 of you in front of distinguishable places in that country?  It really does matter what you are sending them.  A picture of the 2 of you on a couch could be taken anytime/anywhere - so that date-stamp helps	Happytobe	Female	Morocco	2013-08-31 06:17:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	passport problem	When I renewed mine a couple of years ago, they sent the original back with a hole through it or something.  If you are using the entry/exit stamps as proof, you can photocopy all the pages and send in.  Keep in mind, I have read numerous news reports that passport processing is affected by the government shut-down, so find out for sure before you send it in. When I applied K-1 for my ex, they sent me a letter stating why they denied and stating that the application expired.  There was no way to get re-affirmation.  Sometimes, however, they do not send anything.  There is a form you can submit to get that information, but I'm not sure at the moment which one it is.  In the interim, as others have said, getting married and applying for the CR-1 would be good, however, if you do not address the reason(s) why they denied the K-1, it may provide to be a fruitless endeavor.  Best of luck, Courtney.
