Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!" IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	A couple of questions re Marriage Certificates:   1) I have two certificates with dates of marriage that are six months apart, one from Colorado and one from Kuwait (to the same girl, so no wise jokes). Does it matter which one to include in the IV package? The Colorado certificate is the earlier one, but all my other civil documents are from Kuwait. 2) I have the long-form sheet (license on top and certificate on bottom) and the short-form (certificate only) issued from Colorado. Is either acceptable for NVC? I would hate to lose the long-form as I think it's irreplaceable. for the marriage certificate, remember in form I-130 they asked you for date of current marriage. Make sure you send the certificate that matches that date. You don't want to provide "conflicting information". The K-3 will already be at the embassy. And Costa Rica is super easy to deal with.  I feel good about the K3. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	29 days to get a case number for K-3? or the I-130?   I thought your K-3 was sent right out.  That is the way it usually happens.  But I guess you weren't  really expecting the K-3 to get to the embassy??     I was approved Tues the 18th.  I'm going to start calling Monday. But yesterday I did send an email to the NVC asking if my case was transferred since I received an email from TSC saying my case was no longer at their facility, that it was at the NVC and I need to contact them.    I got the case number for I-129F next day after they received it. I calle dthis morning (as I do everymorning) and they told me the I-129F will be sent to the embassy next week. I'm only waiting for it to be shipped to fill out the DS-160.   I'm not sure if it is the case for all embassies, but I was directed to this website for I-129F fee payment and interview scheduling. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Thanks !   I just called the useless line... yesterday marked 5 months for my K-3. TSC has 5 months posted as processing time.  Tried to do an E Request  but it says I am within normal processing times.  So I call and I am told by tier 1 that I have 27 more days before I can put in a service request for that. What  a joke.... I can't stand it anymore... 27 more days puts my K3 at 6 months.. Not what they have on their website.  My I-130 is over 11 months.. Not what they have posted on their website.. But not one single person will do anything  !    What is the big friggin hold up????   I am currently on call back for tier 2.. 94 minues.. Really??????   Not that I expect to get an answers from tier 2 either.  I want to know why they changed my Alien Registration Number ( a number that doesn't even exist) and I haven't received an approval by now....  March 12th they changed it... here it is the 17th. Are they all Irish over there in Texas? Are they out for a long extended lunch to celebrate???    Can ya tell I have had it ?  I'm so sick with disgust !   Sorry about the ranting... I don't have anything else I can do...   Senator's office says I should hear something this week.   Well.  I am not holding my breath.  Nothing ever happens like they say..    when my I-129F went over 5 months, a tier 2 put in a service request  for me. When thats been done I then have to fill in letter of readiness online and send. Will definitely keep you posted. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 I-130 Filers	So my US husband called the USCIS back on Jan 3rd I believe, one day past the '5 month processing date' for our I-129F, and was basically told it was still within expected processing time and to wait 30 days before calling back.  I figured 'oh well', we'll call back later in Jan.  They didn't give him a service request number. But instead this time I suggested he do the e-request on the USCIS website->  and that also says it's within the processing time!  what?    I double checked the service centers timelines, and the only ones that list I-129F's all say 5 months. We're now 15 days past our 5 month mark.   So I went to the e-request where it clearly states: e-Request is a web-based tool that allows you to place an inquiry with USCIS for certain applications and petitions. You may make an inquiry on selected forms that are beyond posted processing times or selected forms where you did not receive an Application Support Center (ASC) appointment notice or other notice. You can also create an inquiry for a notice you received from a Service Center with a typographical error. To place an inquiry, you will need your receipt number. If you do not have your receipt number contact the USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TTY).   I tried it to see the result for myself, and sure enough, it says:   Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. For information about processing dates, please view the recent processing times for applications and petitions. If you have other questions regarding your application or petition, contact USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TTY).   Am I misunderstanding something?  I thought that we should at least be able to put in a service request or e-request for that I-129F as it's past the 5 month mark.   This is being done more to facilitate someone 'touching' our petition in some way more-so than expecting the I-129F to be adjudicated, with the hopes of it helping speed up either a transfer or other action, as currently we're one of those couples lost in limbo without a transfer. I did the same thing back in November 27, i.e 4 months after I-129F NOA1. I called USCIS and spoke with a tier 2 supervisor. The guy was nice enough and asked me to call back December 27th (5 months mark) if I don't get any updates. I called back December 27th and again the tier 2 I talked to was kind enough to open a service request for the I-129F since it was beyond the published 5 months processing time. 5 days after that I got a transfer notice for the I-129F and I-130. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 I-130 Filers	We were transferred several days ago too- mid july filler.     We first got one notification about transfer via email- that it is transferred to another service center. After it - we got another email that our petition was transferred to local office -and at mail , by far we got only 1 hard copy which says petition is at Texas Service center - when check status it says it is processed at Uscis office. Hmmm....not clear - if it is at Texas Service center or at local office?    I also wonder how is Texas Service center with processing times and if it is better to be transferred to local office or to another center when it comes to time ...   Thanks :-)   Greetings  Welcome aboard. All applications get transferred to one of three service centers: Nebraska, California and Texas. By far, California is the fastest service center so far. Nebraska is the worst and Texas is bad.   They stopped transferring applications to local service centers back in October 2013. The messages you get are generated every time your file changes locations.
