I've been reading the last few posts and everyone is saying that we need to bring the ds-260 confirmation page. I went into my case status and hit sign again to get to the confirmation page and it's saying that it has been forwarded to the consulate for review. Does this mean that I just accidentally resubmitted this form?!!!!   Is this the message you are talking about? The officers were very nice and courtious and allowed both of us to enter the same way (they processed my entry in the office also!). The POE process took about 10 minutes! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	I filed for extension as well and planned on just bringing that with me.  I'm using assets for support since my income is foreign as well.   I also filed an extension. BUT, when I received my interview email, it asked for the following:   *** IMPORTANT *** Interview Reminders ================================================================================ Applicants may need to bring an additional police certificate to the interview. If the following three items are all true, the applicant needs to bring an updated police certificate to the interview: He or she is more than 16 years old; He or she obtained a police certificate more than one year ago; and He or she still lives in the country that issued the police certificate. Bring this interview letter to the medical exam. Bring this letter to the medical examination because the panel physician may need to review it before performing the examination. Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview. Petitioners are not required to attend the applicant's immigrant visa interview. Facility size and/or security concerns may limit who may accompany a visa applicant during his or her visit to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Please visit the U.S. Embassy or Consulate's webpage for more information at usembassy.gov.     I interpreted that as I needed to file 2013 taxes (just to be on the safe side). I'm planning to be at the interview with my wife even if I know they will not allow me in the consulat, and we are planning to fly back together. SO I don't want to take the chance of AP for 2013 taxes. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	I am confused by the exact timing of "case complete".   On May 16, I called NVC and they told me that had finished reviewing our case. On May 23, My wife and I (we are applicants and our daugther is the petitioner) both received the following email (exce ______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________ We have finished reviewing your case. We will tell you when we set an interview date for your case. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in PARIS, FRANCE about your interview until we give you the date.   I called again on May 30th and they told me my case was complete on May 27th. I tehn received the formal "case complete" email a week later on June 3.   Dear Sir or Madam: The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified. The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.       However, my wife has not received the similar email. No news from the embassy so far. Anyone knows when "case complete" date is officially declared?   The Case Complete date is what NVC customer service tells you. The CC email is very vague and does not tell you much, not even the "official" CC date.   You will not hear from the embassy now. Question about this, from your experience with this thread, how often are the batches shipped out? Is it typically weekly, or when each 'round' is completed? I'm banking on an August interview, but part of me is hoping I squeak by and jump on the July train before it takes off! Thanks so much for all that you do!!! :-D   my interview was scheduled on 29-May and my file shipped out 04-Jun. I called NVC and asked the operator for a tracking # but she said that NVC does not give up that info because several files are sent together. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	I think people wait for it to get to the embassy and ask for an earlier date there. The reason could be because some people reschedule so the embassy will be able to tell if another date opens open. That's what I think I might of read. July 9th is good but it doesn't hurt to call the embassy once it arrives         9 working days from IL email for us. DHL showed delivered after 3-4 working days. Embassy claims they only had our case files about 13 working days after DHL delivery. Kinda like the NVC where they received it but it sits in a warehouse waiting to get processed. I made a mistake of scheduling an interview ~2 weeks after DHL delivery date. He said that it takes couple of weeks for it to be sent and then he asked why I was asking. I told him that I wanted to ask the consulat for an earlier date once they get the file and he said that it could not be any earlier since NVC schedules the earliest they can.   I guess 09-Jul it is. Still not bad!!!!   Tears. I so miss calling them and hearing that on hold mantra. Any grace period? I really dont wish to spend extra time and money trying to get a new one.   Check with your embassy. Moroccan PCC is only valid for 3 months. BUT, in the US consulate Casablanca website, it says if the PCC is withing a year, it is fine. I called last week and they said my case was complete as of 27th of May. Feeling really sad right now. I would call back if I was you to double check! I take cream no sugar....   preferrably decaf  because I am stressed enough !! LOL...  HOORAY for Monday !   I moved on Friday. Lesson learned: Reserve a moving truck ahead of time! Don't just assume trucks are waiting for you!!!! I went to a UHaul location on Friday morning and I was shocked when I was told NO truck rentals available in the phl area for 24 hours or more. I had to settle for 6 hours rental. They charged me for the entire day of course. Moving a 2-bedroom apartment in 6 hours was the hardest I worked in my life.
