Alhamdulillah rab'l alameen!!!!! after 10 long months of waiting, we got approved on the 26th of February!!!. there is ease after every hardship indeed. i am grateful to all April filers for all posts,updates and prayers. Lots and lots of people who got approved are reporting its taking forever just to get a case number for the I-130.  That is why the K-3s are getting to the embassy. The K3 only gets a case number and then sent via DHL to the embassy. The I-130 has to get logged in and processed at the NVC.  The K-3 will save you the NVC hassle. Yea, you have to spend money to adjust after entering the US  but at this point WHO CARES?????  Its only money...  You can't get the time back

I really hope my I-129F makes it all the way!

Money at this point is not a problem!!!!

YAY !!!  do everything they ask asap...   try to schedule your interview  too.  Have you heard anything about you I-130????  let the K3 play out...  I have been reading about huge delays at the NVC.   I bet the K3 goes through before they log in your I-130.

 

You give me hope.  Once it gets to the embassy, it goes really fast !!

 

I hope it goes through and I hope they send mine to the embassy too!

OK I am so tired of the mixed answers I get from the USCIS... a few minutes ago I get the following email to answer my service request for being out of normal processing times.
 
 
We have received your service request and researched the status of your cases.
 
Based on your inquiry we have reviewed the status of your case, Form I-130, MSC1390961343,  and found that it remains under active examination under extended review and this has caused a delay in processing time.  This office acknowledges the completion of your case being outside of the normal processing time and realizes the inconvenience it may cause.  The delay has been necessary in order to ensure thorough processing of your case and provide you with the best possible service.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a definitive timeframe at this point.  USCIS will notify you if any further information is needed from you or when a decision has been made.

USCIS records show this case is in transit to the unit where it will be assign to an officer.  The background checks have been resolved, therefore a decision or some type of action will be made within the next 30 business days.
 
 
 
I am leaning more towards believing the Senator's office due to Tier 1 & 2 being clueless. and this is the response I received after I questioned who is telling the truth.
 
I realize this is stressful but I trust the latest update from my liaison at the Texas Service Center.  They are adjudicating both the I-130 and the I-129f per their correspondence to me.  I have no reason to believe my liaison would not be telling the truth.  In addition, customer service is not always able to see the full updates on pending cases; Congressional liaisons do have access to the full files though.  In addition, when cases get held up due to security checks or requests for evidence, the processing times posted are no longer applicable.






























That's just sick all the contradicting responses from the same service.
It really makes me wanna throw up right now

I'm really sorry LoveMyTico you have to go through this, but just know that they can only delay and they can't stop you

I have this sick feeling deep in my stomach. This whole process is stressing me out. I can't do a dang thing to move it along.. I can't concentrate. I feel so horrible about all of this.

I understand your feelings and feel some of the pain you are going through. I have been waiting for 7 and half months now and it is killing me little by little.

USCIS have been telling me for two weeks now that my petitions are assigned to an officer, it has been already two weeks and nothing yet.

 

You have been waiting for so long and the feeling of nopt being able to do anything about it is really a killer!

I wish there was something we could do at this point, but we only have to wait some more!

 

Almost there and we will all forget about this BS!

I just booked a flight for the end of March to go see my husband. I was supposed to wait til April but the tickets are $1000 in April.  I had enough miles to get a free ticket for March.  SIGH ...  I miss him so much. We are arguing alot and I really think its because of the distance. I feel extremely bad for the waiting . The lawyer told us 6 months when we first filed.  its already double that and still we haven't heard anything. Only lies from everyone I call.  We still have a waiver to file.  I can't take this process anymore.  I feel terrible that it is taking so long.   Its been a rough couple of days for me  cray5ol.gif

 

OMG I really need an approval .  I need something good to happen. I have lost hope.

After our case not being touched since its transfer on December 5th, we finally received an email on Friday!

Only to be told.... that it's an RFE. Ugh. And now we wait to receive the letter....

 

Why can't they just outline what's required in the email? What a ridiculous process. It would be so much quicker to process everything online that can be done online!

 

Husband keeps saying at least they've opened the file.. which yes, I guess is true.... but I'd prefer to be approved, not have to send in more information!!

LoveMyTico, you and I are stuck in the same water (USCIS) but different boats (TSC & NSC). I sure hope your I-129F gets approved before your I-130. That will shorten your journey.

 

In my case I got a stupid letter from NSC today for a 02/06 service request - stating my case has been assigned to someone; but they can't tell when it will be reviewed. Are you kidding me? What kind of process is this? When a case is assigned to an officer, you would think that it should come with a deadline for that officer to review and if issues are found during the review, then the review should escalate to the next level.

 

In 7 days my petition would have been with USCIS 11 months. NSC tells me processing time is between 60 - 90 days from date of receipt. This Thursday would mark 90 days since they received my file from NBC.

 

Whether NSC likes it or not, in the end I shall prevail as they have no choice than to approve my petition.

 

I got the same answer to an inquiry on 14-Feb-2014 (10 days ago) :"case under review by an officer". Still nothing.

I have an I129F and and I-130.

I hope the I-129F makes through faster.

because they sent 2 responses on Feb 8th for my January 31st service requests. He said the response would be the same, I told him I am now officially out of normal processing times. I want a new  one

Tier 2 also tried to talk me out of having him put in a SR for my I-129F, he mentioned that SRs actually get assigned to officers and that they have to get the file and take a look at it which means that they actually "hold it" from "regular processing". I told him my case is delayed anyway, might as well put in a SR.

I think assigning to an officer means they received it at the service center. How can they be assigned April through July?  Its just one more thing to say to the callers to shut them up. Now they are saying the files are  undergoing background checks that can't be expedited..  Well of course they can't... and if you read the blurb when you check your stats online, it says initial review is when they under go background checks... so what the hell have they been doing with my files for 10 months.

 

 

I'm sorry for ranting today. I'm so P!ssed off and stressed out.  

 

Lawyer said K-3 is super slim to nothing chance of going through. He said to expect the I-130.    What a crock of Sh!t. Why the heLL did he even bother filing it then????  I am supposed to stop watching the clock and find something else to think about while I wait for my approval.    How nice is that???

 

I understand the feeling! We are so helpless in this process and at the mercy of USCIS!!!!

What actually kills me is in the back of my mind, I know that there is nothing I can do to actually help my case! Just sit there and watch the clock tic tic tic!!!!!

I amd two inquiries about my I-129F and I received 2 different email answers:

1) the first one said my case is assigned to an officer, and now it all depends on the work load of the officer bla bla bla.....

2) the second one received today 18-Feb-2014: the case is still pending consideration

 

two emails form Nebraska BS Center contradicting and negating each other.

a May filler got approved form Nebrasca Bullshi% center today. At the 60-day mark after transfer (60 days from the receipt day in Nebraska).

Transfer was 12-Dec, receipt in Nebraska was 18-Dec

I was transferred Nov 15 to NSC. According to NSC, they received my transferred file on Nov 27. I am still waiting, unfortunately.  The messages below show a series of conversation that I initiated with respect to my case status.

 

My online status has shown alien registration number changed twice: on Nov 27, 2013 and now Jan 16, 2014. Still no approval.

 

I am beginning to think that someone at USCIS is deliberately holding my file hostage for no just reason. If indeed this is true, then I only feel sorry for that person. There is absolutely no reason why I should be waiting while July are already getting approved. 

 

From NSC email below, it takes 60 - 90 days for processing from the receipt date. What I don't understand is NSC is telling me to contact them if I have not heard anything within 60 days. Why another 60 days when my petition would have been with them 90 days in 14 days.

So here it is

 

Today is 10 months since our NOA1

 

I was told 6 months when I first sat down and completed the package with my lawyer. 

 

There is a HUGE Snow storm coming tonight into the Philadelphia area.. I'll be at home tomorrow for sure. I hope Texas has clear skies and all the employees are working at the TSC. 

 

Monday is a Holiday.  All that means to  me is another day lost for processing. 

 

 

 

 

Everytime I see your name as teh last entry in this thread I open it hoping to see the good news and believe me, it breaks my heart when I read otherwise!

Maybe they are busy approving July files like the TSC is doing.

I wish I had something good to report.. but I just talked to a tier 2.  My case is still at the TSC.  They touched my file only to send me a letter in respose to my annoying coorespondence . ( a phone call to them on January 31st)  So its probably one of those letters saying my case is still in process. Wait 180 days !

 

What a waste of time.

 

I wihs it was a real "touch".

Anyway, I pray for you and for all of us stuck at the BS processing centers!!!!!!!!
