Just make sure all the info is correct and also the beneficiary knows the answers also. You should be fine.   I will do the same thing when the time comes up for us for the Ds260. I was at CSC and i didn't get a "we have transferred this to NVC" update at all. However I checked with the NVC and they received my case last week   I was at NBSC and I ot the "we shipped ...." on 27-Feb-2014, but that was not true. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	I just got off the phone with a USCIS tier 2, and I was really surprised with the info provided: - I got emails saying that my I-129F and I-130 shipped out to NVC on 27-Feb-2014 (NOA2 is 26-Feb-2014).        --- Reality is: I-130 shipped out 04-Mar-2014 and I-129F shipped out 06-Mar-2014.   - I was told when my petitions were transferred to Nebraska on 02-Jan-2014 that both of them were coupled together.        --- Tier 2 told me today that only I-130 was transferred to Nebraska and I-129F remained in Lee Summit Missouri (NBC) and got approved in NBC: I don't believe him since NOA2 for I-129F is also from Nebraska.   anyway, what matters for me is that I-130 was shipped out physically on 04-Mar-2014, only six days after NOA2.   I'll give NVC couple of weeks and I'll start calling them again.	etrangais	Male	Morocco	2014-03-11 07:16:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	Is the ship date based on information you got from Tier 2 at USCIS, or based on the automated notices? I would be surprised if it was shipped to NVC literally the very next day after approval. It should be getting close, though. My petition shipped from CSC and arrived at NVC in two weeks. I think the worst/longest I've seen it take is ~4 weeks, but can't recall offhand if that was a pattern for a particular service center. the date is based on status update on www.uscis.gov it showed approval on the 26th and then shipped to NVC on the 27th of february.   I'll call NVC again Wednesday to check and then I'll call USCIS to talk to a tier 2 if it does not show up at NVC by then	etrangais	Male	Morocco	2014-03-10 07:34:00

What does your letter say? mine sates 30 days, which, like the USCIS 60days statement, is probably utter rubbish!   it is the same thing: 30 days!
