They already paid one fee at the NVC.  They were trying to go with the K3 instead..   Its good that you don't have a case numebr for the I130 yet if you want the K3.    Hold out for a little longer   I just called to see if the horse and buggy delivered my case to the NVC.   The Bruja who answered told me again I have to wait 8 weeks...  I can't stand this process.    That's good to know. I wrote e-mail to Embassy to ask what to do because we're in the middle of CR-1 processing what to do next that we want to use K3. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	I already called NVC twice today: The first time I was told I-129F is on hold because of I-130. The second time I was told that the it is not the case and the I-129F will be sent to the embassy. When I asked the lady on the second time what the firtst rep told me, she said that she could've made it up. I asked to talk to a supervisor and the supervisor confirmed that the I-129F IS NOT on hold because of the I-130 and that I will be sent to tembassy for further processing after undegoing necessary admin processing. Who to believe now? NVC expedite told me (in an email) that it takes 2 to 4 weeks to send a K3 to the embassy. But what about the K3?  For people who filed the K3...... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	Quick question regarding the police certificate for the IV package:   Do I need to get it right before mailing the package?   I got it last week and I was planning on getting the apostille and translating it to have it ready, but since I won't be mailing the package any time soon I was wonderting if I should wait and go get another certificate right before that.   it depends on how long it takes to expires. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	Yesterday I was reading on the Costa Rica medical info page that if you don't have an immunization record, the doctor will discuss with you what  you will need.  Now that is for Costa Rica. The immunization rules have changed since 2008. They never asked for it back then but now it seems like they need all of that.  Thank god my mother-in-law has all of that info for my husband to take with him.   I called again today to check on the I-129F and they told me that it is still undergoing administrative processing at NVC. Todd (NVC customer rep) added that it is most likely because of the I-130. On the other hand, The I-130 is still waiting for a case #.
