IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2014 Interviews	He had his interview today at 8am, he got there at 7:20, make sure you bring the DS 260 confirmation page in addition to everything else. He got his number, and they called him to the first window within 15mins. At the first window, the teller went through all of his file that the NVC sent. After the teller completed this, he told my husband to wait to be called again for the second window/interview. 10mins later they called his number again, this time the officer asked my husband questions regarding out marriage, what my occupation was and his occupation, asked about our child, and then the officer made my husband take an oath, and then he told my husband he was approved. Overall, it was a smooth process. We are now just waiting in his passport and sealed packet to arrive in the courier service, as soon as it arrives, we r booking his flight.   Thank you very much for the reminder!!!!! I completely forgot about the DS260 confirmation. I sent an updated affidavit of support package (with 2013 taxes), a change of address memo and I sent a copy of the DS260 to my wife but I forgot about teh DS260 confirmation, at least I forgot that I sent it with the package. I just called now and double checked everything. The DS260 confirmation page was with the DS260, but I remember told her that she does not need to give them that. I already have a case # for I-129F. With the delay in I-130 processing, the I-129F most likely will make it to the embassy and I hope they will process it. NVC told me today that the embassy might or might not decide to process the I-129F knowing the I-130 is approved also.   Some I-129F (for K3) made it all the way recently. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	I recieved a letter in mail saying they have sent my file to NVC and that they will contact me within 30 days.today i checked on the uscis website and it says On march 10, 2014 we shipped this approved case to department of state for visa preocessing. For further information contact them directly. Anyone know whats the next step? I have not recieved anything other than the above letter in the mail yet..   You are good! That's you approval letter. With I-130, they might ask for an interview, but I've never heard of them sending a document. Have your wife call USCIS and talk to a Tier 2 (immigration officer) to find out. You should receive the new document within 30 days. I'm glad to see many NSC approvals since I'm waiting myself.    I actually had 2 questions. I hope someone can answer-    1. I am planning to visit my wife for 2 weeks. If my file is touched and should they request RFE. What is the general timeline given to respond back to them? Can anyone who has had a RFE tell me.    2. Are RFE's sent thru registered mail or is it thru regular mail? I am asking this since no one will be home to attend a signature delivery.        My         PD        07-11 TD to NSC-  01-03   waiting on NOA2.    1. You get 89 days to respond to RFE 2. RFE are sent the same way as notice of action letters. regular mail.   I hope you get a straight approval not an RFE. I know there are a few RFEs floating around out there and I wanted a better at-a-glance view of how many June filers still haven't received any action at all.   Stats right now out of 92 transfers listed: -49 approvals -6 RFEs -37 "untouched" pending files   Just about 60% of June transfers have seen some action on their cases, which is huge progress compared to a week or two ago when we were holding steady around 40%. Even though I got lucky but I was making a lot of noise because my I-129F was beyond processing time. I'm still getting an error about an incorrect receipt number when trying to make a request.   I had Tier 2 put in a request for me for the I-129F. I tried to do it online for I-130 and I got teh same error message.   I just got a text that my Alien Registration number changed on my I-130. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	This is what I got today from NBSC as a response to a service request:   "Thank you for your recent inquiry about your I-129F petition.   USCIS records show that this case was received by the National Benefits Center (NBC) on July 26, 2013.  The case was then transferred to the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on January 6, 2014.   At this time the case is assigned to an officer.  Although assigned, we cannot predict the date the case may actually receive review.   If you have not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 60 days from the date of this email, please contact us for an update."   I've been getting this "assigned to an officer" BS for almost two weeks now. It must be harder for u seeing that almost all july filers were california and u got stuck with us.
