IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	Hi everybody, An update on my K-3. I just called NVC and they received my case from Texas Service Center. Sandy (lovely, patient lady) gave me my case, IID and Beneficiary #'s! I asked her what comes next. She said in 3-4 days start logging onto the embassy's website in Cairo to see if they received my case. She indicated that my file was being mailed out today!  Now i have no idea what this all means since my i-130 hasn't even been looked at yet. I'm hoping my K-3 gets to Cairo quickly and an interview gets scheduled before they touch the I-130. However, Sandy said sometimes they will pull the I-130 to pair it up and send it to Cairo as well. And according to her, since my K-3 has already been approved there is nothing that should keep my I-130 from getting approved. So long story short, at the very least I am thinking that inshallah my I-130 will be approved much sooner than i thought and I shaved off a couple months off the wait. If that's what happens, then my advice to anyone wondering if the 1-129 K-3 is worth it???.YES ABSOLUTELY!   Salam, If the I-130 is still with USCIS then your I-129F will make it to the embassy and will be processed. We have here a case of a member with K3 also. The K3 made it all the way  to the embassy, medical done and all and then the K3 was closed because they found out the I-130 was at NVC. Now the wait for my invoice to become avail so i can pay it! Tick Tock..i will be watching all day for it. That's the first i heard about NVC not needing passport photos! I wouldnt believe that, send it anyway. You can have your significant other get a digital photo and email to you and you get them printed. Happy Day!   Have your AoS and IV packages ready and send as soon as you pay and money is debited from your account! This will save you couple of days! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	Hey guys - I recently paid my AOS fee Thursday night and it's still showing as In process today even though my bank account shows that the money has been withdrawn.  I checked this afternoon and my IV processing fee has the yellow triangle icon to the left but when i click "pay" there is no fee for me to select.  My DS-261 is showing as complete and not accepted.  What does this all mean?  Am I safe to send in my AOS packet and put together my IV packet now?   You are fine sending the AoS packet now that you have the bar code sheet. For the AoS fee, I had the same problem with my IV fee and called NVC about it. the customer service lady I spoke with me asked me to send an email to NVCInquiry@state.gov explaining the issue and attaching a screen shot of your bank statment showing the mony was debited from your bank. I did that and the status of the IV fee flipped from IN PROCESS to PAID within 2 hours. It was stuck in IN PROCESS for 4 business days, so I'm not sure if the email did it or if it was time for it to be completed. You can go ahead and try, nothing to lose!! Does the translation need to be certified/notarized?   The translation copy has to show info about the translator, that he is in fact knowledgable and capable of translating from Arabid to English. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	Good afternoon everyone,   Quick question..I am scanning all of my IV and AOS documents into a pdf, but some of my documents are rotated wrong.  I am trying to rotate them, but when I save it doesn't save the changes.  I was told that you can't save changes into adobe reader, does anyone have an idea how I can fix this?   Thank you!   You can always make a copy of the back of a document (if it is on both pages) and then scan only one side.
