IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!                     I called at 1140 EST thinking there's no way I'll get through before they drop all calls, but at 1208 (gosh I forget who she was now  ), the rep answered!!   And they 'FOUND' my police certificate upon review by the supervisor, probably that 'piece of mail still listed in the mailroom' - which I assume fell off the package when they opened it to scan the barcoded sheet...     I asked her if they could possibly still be doing June interviews and she wasn't sure, but that's better than a definite 'NO'     Anyways, I'm so happy!!  My heart is pounding, and I wish this feeling very soon for each of you!!!     CONGRATULATIONS	etrangais	Male	Morocco	2014-05-20 05:08:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	Hi all,    So I just called the NVC and asked if my AOS and IV Packages were scanned into the system and the gentleman said that they don't get scanned, but were received on May 14th, even though UPS said that they were delivered on the 12th. Does this mean they've been handed off to a reviewer and now I have to wait 2 weeks from the 14th to hopefully have them reviewed?? Anyone? "Scanned into the system" means it was received by NVC and now it is in the queue to be reviewed. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	After countless tries, I finally got through to NVC, 50 mins on hold. Unfortunately no case complete yet. Got the same story, please wait 30 business days. So, since I had waited so damn long to just be disappointed again, I ask the guy (didn't catch his name) why on the updated ceac website, on my summary page, does it show N/A under the supporting docs column if they already have my documents. He had no clue what I was talking about. I had to literally explain to him how I access the summary page, and what the summary page now looked like. The only thing he has to say to me is why am I checking my summary page!  To which I replied, Im checking it because it was updated to provide more information, which apperently we still can't access!   teh last couple steps in this marathon are really nerf wreaking! THIS WEEK i'm positive we'll get tons of updates!!!!!   Question - Should I be getting another certified copy of my birth certificate, get it apostilled or whatever you call it, and then get it translated to spanish again for my interview in Dominican Republic (whenever I get it)? AND should I have my husband's birth certificate, police certificate, and our wedding certificate translated to english again?   Or will NVC send all that to the embassy?   All the docs submitted to NVC WILL BE FORWARDED to the embassy. NVC does not keep docs. They just go through them to make sure they correct and accurate. Once they accept them and case complete. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	GREAT questions-- I am sending my AOS in this week also- I used my 2012, 2011, 2010 for three previous years and filed 2013 as my CURRENT income- I have not filed yet- I have filed for an extension- I included the last 6 months paycheck stubs and a job letter.  I am hoping and praying that I do not have to file for 2013 for them to approve it- for several reasons--  which is another subject--  I think if you sent a copy of your tax return they will automatically request a transcript- therefore I just filed an extension at  this point--  withheld my w2 form --  I am not sure if anyone knows the absolute answer because I think it will depend on who is looking at it..   I did the exact same thing. I included a Job verification document from my employer showing my date of hire and current salary as a proof of current income. I included an extension valid until October 2014. Hoping they look at my stuff next week.  Get the checklist out of the way and look at the revision so I can be done with this ridiculousness !    I decided to work this weekend so that the time goes faster! I volunteered for Saturday but I'm thinking about working Sunday also! I just checked CEAC and my AOS is showing PAID but IV fee not invoiced yet.   I'm actually glad I am doing EP because my husband and joint sponsor still haven't given me their i-864 forms!  I'm still pretty pissed they haven't done them yet but there's not much I can do but wait    I'm trying my best to be ready for the next step. One thing that can slow me down a little bit is snail mail from Morocco. My wife mailed me the PCC and court record Wednesday. I hope it gets here Tuesday (if we are lucky) or Wednesday. Did they tell you that date or did you call and have to find out? It stated that my case is completed and next is to wait for the interview date. My husband is from Dominican Republic, do anybody know or in general how long do we know when the embassy will I know the interview date is?   Call NVC, they will tell you if you made May interviews or not. BUT the one who was on the phone was super rude. his name is nick. i said hime do you guys receive my parents civil doc? and he said he received on april 8th. he totally wrong with my AOS package. it received on april8th. so i ask him again that it is AOS package and i am asking about civil package . then he said can you pay more attention and can't hear me. he don't know what it is until he open the package. what should i do? My AOS was received 10 days ago and no news at all. then now what i don't even know my civil doc are received already or not. please help me and suggest me what should i do? thanks a lot.     Cal down and relax! They just received them and they are still in teh mail room. They receive thousands and thousands of packets everyday,a nd it takes them time to sort them and scan them into the system. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	Okay folks, I just realized I made a mistake on the i-864 (put the adjusted gross income instead of the total income!) and my joint sponsor did the same thing. But I just put it in the mail yesterday... :/ I am going to send correct i-864 forms after the weekend, but I'm wondering...can I just send the i-864 forms (without the supporting documents) or do I have to send the supporting documents for the i-864 as well? Worse yet, would I have to send the entire package again?   Thanks in advance for your help!   xx   You'll be better off sending it with all supporting docs. Think of it as a stand-alone packet! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	Sukie Thanks - that makes sense now. We called the NVC today and got fobbed off by them, but from reading this forum we just need to keep on calling until they acknowledge that they have recieved our approval from USCIS. Then, once we have a number assigned we should have this all done and dusted in 3 or 4 months...   Give it two weeks after USCIS said they shipped your case to NVC and then call NVC. If NVC confirms they received it, things are good. If not, you can call USCIS and ask to speak to a tier 2. Tier 2 can actually tell when excatly your file was shipped out.   After NVC receives your case, give it 25 days and then call NVC for a case #. Once you get a case # and if you hae everything ready to go and no checklists, you should get through NVC in 1.5 months to 2 months.   Good luck	etrangais	Male	Morocco	2014-04-18 07:02:00
