The good thing is they did not start scheduling for July yet (I called last night). So you have a good chance to be on teh July interview queue. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	Hello everyone I have a question.    our case was completed on May 09, but whenever I log in to the CEAC portal, I see that AOS section is showing N/A and also the section for civil documents in DS-260 is showing N/A. Is this normal? Can anybody please confirm?   I've attached the screenshot here as well:   Thanks,    mine looks the same. It is very simple: send a copy of tax return form with all schedules and W2 for 2013. Make sure you make a copy of every page including all schedules. And now the paralegal goes off on holiday and the lawyer doesn't have a slot on her calendar until June 2! That's a total of 10 days wasted doing absolutely nothing!   I so regret using a lawyer. Once I'm done with the ds 260 do I sent it to my husband ? and he will have to mail it back to me ? I'm lost on what to do, about this. Any help would be great!   DS260 is an electronic form. It is about the beneficiary (I.e. Your husband). You or your husband can fill it out. Once you fill it out, you hit SUBMIT and here it goes. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	I see in times line   AOS/IV package entered into system    How do you guys know that, can you check the status online or call NVC?   I have submitted AOS/IV package and USPS recipet shows they are delivered today. I have also filled in DS260. I would like to know when they entered into their system.   Also why does it take so long to schedule interview? They say because embassy is busy however I know if someone applies to visit visa at Islamabad embassy they give interview date in merely 3 days but why so long for our spouses? I have already been in extended review for ever at I-130 and I don't want to be in another black hole again!   Give them until Thursday and friday and then call to check. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	As others have stated, it takes about 7 days to receive the case complete email from the actual case complete date.   And the case complete email doesn't contain any medical or interview information. Even the interview letter doesn't have medical information. Amazing even right??   My happiness is kind of confused because it's the 27th. and no email with no further information such as scheduling medical and or interview has arrived...   The super awesome lady on the phone said she no clue when the email will and told me I can do nothing but sit and wait....   Any clue how long normally an email takes to arrive?    It's like I wanna scream so loud but then it doesn't feel like it's complete sigh* I weird probably but this means no more checklists and such right?   The case complete email will be sent in about 7 days after case complete. It is very generic and does not provide any further instructions: Here is what I got:   "NVC Case Number: CSB20146xxxxxx   Dear Sir or Madam: The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified. The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa. The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	Hi everyone, just a quick question: I don't have a printer at my current apartment, but I'd rather make the AOS payment from the comfort of my own home and not at an internet café (I don't make a habit of entering bank info on public computers). Is the bar-coded cover sheet from the payment portal able to be saved as a PDF or by other means, maybe a screen shot? I'm hoping I can e-mail it to myself and then go to the internet café to print it out.    Thanks!  it gives you the option to email it to email addresses of your choice. Just wondering to see if it is anywhere around the time they received my last package. Hoping for a CC this week.    This is scaring me and it doesn't make much sense. Many people who sent stuff in after that date already had their packages looked at.    My IV package was entered into NVC system on 28-Apr and I got CC on 15-May. so don't be discouraged by some isolated cases. If I get a CC this week, will they give me an interview appt  soon after since its the last week of the  month??  Do you think I'll make the cut this round? I think so, If you get a CC this week you will be inline for a July interview and then you can negotiate with the consulate/embassy to see if they can give you an earlier appointment. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	its a holiday...   I am actually excited for the coming week.  My mom was asking whenI am flying to Costa Rica. She is 83 so I had to explain the process a bit more and she just shook her head and said " that's the US government"   LOL LOL LOL     Ughhhh I just want to book my flight.     on a relaxing note.... I spent the day at the pool with my 22 year old daughter. Ate breakfast with her at the Sweet Briar Café in my town ( she paid)  After the pool, ,my mom made spaghetti for us.     Yesterday my husband helped me  (over the phone) get rid of the CHECK ENGINE light in my car. My car was in the shop and they replaced the steering column. The battery had to be recharged so it messed up the sensor for the check engine light.    Also replaced the ceiling fan in my bedroom with the help of my daughter .   I called my husband to tell him this is "husband $hit"  you need to be here to help me !!!   I have a feeling this is going to be a good week for you lady! Almost there!   My wife told me to call her whenever we get the interview and I promised her I'll call her whenever I get the news (5 hours difference), so I told her to expect my call at anytime, day or night!!!!! But we already sent AOS and it was delivered on 21st May. No word from the Bangkok Embassy about change in interview date. The tears have finally stopped falling as I am now with my family after over a year apart. I was walking down the street and holding my wife's hand very tight and I realized something was very different. In the past I knew that soon enough I would have to let go and return home and all the pain that would be involved. Just then it dawned on my heart that I never have to let go of her hand again. I was told that I have to submit 2013 tax form, but my cosigner won't do her tax form until September. So where did you print out the extension proof from IRS website. She already did her extension, but i'm not sure she keeps the extension proof or not I'm so worry now If she filed for an extension, the form should be on the IRS website, just like the tax transcrpits. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	My father and I watch since I can remember and he was a forward then Goalie for EMELEC so he taught me all about the game and I don't ever remember not loving it.   I will admit I love it much more when a South American team or teams are playing.  We brought  finesse to this game made it a ballet.       I'll be praying this doesn't happen I know and understand the reasons but as far as I'm concerned this is not the time for the countries sake.  God willing all will be well.       I'm numb I know when I get my Case Complete it will just mean a very long wait then AP so it's difficult for me to be excited.  I'm more scared and depressed.         All will be well my dear Gee&Cee you will see, I see it in my crystal ball.   I know it is tough going through USCIS and NVC processes knowing that you have to wait for God only knows how long for the interview and then AP. I really don't know why AP for Egyptians? I have lots of friend from Egypt, actually some of them are like brothers and sisters to me! Egyptians are mostly nice people! but it is what it is! Not a fan of soccer (I'm within a minority of Brazilians!), and I'm actually a little worried I might have an interview scheduled in Rio during the World Cup. That's the last place I want to be Here in Brazil, we're antecipating some turmoil during the Cup. If not just the higher travel prices, traffic jams and this kind of nonsense, there might actually be riots and things like that. It's presidential election year and people are very dissatisfied with a lot if things (including all the spending for World Cup and Olympic Games). It's funny how it goes: rooting for a quick case complete for so long, but now, not so much! Trying to breath and letting the river flow! I do hope it's a nice show for soccer fans everywhere, though!   I'm a big soccer fan and loved Brazilian soccer for ever! I do, in the other hand, agree with you about the madness that goes around during the competitions. I was hoping to visit Brazil during the world cup but decided against it due to the fact that lots of people in Brazil are against the crazy spending when actually the people deserve that money for the investment. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	I paid DS-261 one week ago and sent all the support documents...and my DS-261 comes as paid...now i would like to pay DS-260 fees bt it is not available on website till now.. i called the NVC they say it will take upto 30 business days... is it normal.. my DS-261 comes online since one week   Ok, now you confused the heck out of everybody here! First of all, you don't pay DS261. DS261 is an electronic form: The choice of agent and address. I am pretty sure instructions email we received last night reversed our already completed DS261. Although, what surprised me the most was that when i clicked on "incomplete" all of the prior submitted info was already there. So all I have to do was to click next couple of time and then submit! Hope I didn't mess it up by resubmitting it...ugh..   Did you get an interview date?!   Not yet but I hope they start scheduling for July next week! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	Thank you   I called nvc yesterday and cs rep told me she couldn't see my ds261 and I told her that I had already completed ds261 before nvc even emailed me with instructions. then she was like "you may have to re-do it once we send u the instructions" then she put me on hold for couple of mins and came back and said "she could see the form at her end"...and now this morning i got "incomplete" message...what a mess...When I clicked on incomplete, it had all of the info I had entered.    So you are suggesting I should go ahead and hit resubmit it? Just makes me nervous that it might cause delays. I did almost the same thing myself. I filed DS261 before getting the instructions to do it and it showed complete. When I got the email to fill out DS261 and pay AoS fees, the status of my already filled out DS261 did not change. It stayed "Complete" so I did not have to re-do it.
