We live on Peterson AFB. Its right next to the airport. I dont know the area near Fort Carson yet, we have not been out in that direction. But as soon as you are here or if you come visit we should meet up. Colorado Springs is all spread out so getting anywhere needs a drive in any case.

I've been at Peterson AFB once while I was in Colorado...that is a awsome base, very big! Its not that far away from Fountain...I think I still may be able to enjoy some snow from this winter if everything will go fine at the interview! Of course we should meet up for a cook out or something!!

Me and Rocky were very lucky cuz he came to live in Italy in 2002 and we met in Feb 2003 and he lived here untill june 2006...we were playing darts in a bar when we met.. and when he got stationed in colorado i basicly was there for 9 months (yeah thats why they denied me entry!!! I was there too much)...last time he came to see me was in April before he deployed!I met his mum and sister (his dad is dead) and his mum is just a very lovely and supportive person, very nice!!! I also met his boys The oldest lived with him in colorado so we were able to build a good relationship!

Now I have to hope that the processing time stays about the same (or gets faster

) and that the Korean Embassy understands and accepts that I think of Korea as my home now and when I filed I honestly expected to be there working there at the interview time. (we had just checked the UCIS website and it said that a NOA2 would take at least 7 months)

So this weekend I will be packing my life into boxes ... I have a stack of about 20 boxes! Lets hope its enough

Forget about my previous message & Reqeust. I found the fax number on a previous posting of yours, but I started checking the USCIS website and found a number to call. I had been writing a letter and was going to send it, but I called to find out what I needed to do. I got right through (Amazing considerint the horror stories I have read), the lady was very kind and helpful, took the information for my request, gave me a confirmation # and said I should have a response by 11/17 if they will accept to expedite my petition.

For those who may not know, the criteria is:

Severe financial loss to company or individual
Extreme emergent situation
Humanitarian situation
Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States
Department of Defense of National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)
USCIS error
Compelling interest of USCIS

They also mentioned on the phone, "Significant and Compelling Reasons" and included medical reasons.
I dont know if my expedite will get approved or not, but considering my situation, I think I have a good chance. I feel better knowing it is in the system and they will respond soon.
For an expedite situation from the service center, is the process the same? Hopefully each step is expedited if all are required. Does anyone know if the process is different?
For your approval, I assume it was expedite approval, but did they provide any additional information on what the next step would be or approximately how long it would take?

Really, THANKS for your post - it gave me the idea to a different approach. Had I not seen your post, I probably would have just sent a letter.

I had to send them a fax cuz they never got back to us...anyways I know u will have to ask for expedite for every single stage of the petition...I don't think NVC will need to be expedited cuz for K1 Visa they are pretty fast anyways but u may wanna call the consulate once your petition gets there and ask them to expedite it...
Btw if u're filing in Cali and in 1 month they don't send u something about your request just send them a fax with cover letter, letter explaining the situation and evidences to that fax number....! Good Luck!!!! I'm so glad I can help others!

So, unless there is a surge in November with the applications getting approved, we will still end up seeing May and June applicants getting approved in Novemeber. After they cash your check or money order they will send you a "letter" with the case number .... NOA1...if you paid by check u can find out your case number without waiting for the NOA1 and u can go on USCIS website and subscribe to get information about your case online...unfortunately we paid with money order so we have to wait...I hope u'll get your soon!!!

I think your fiance should use his APO address instead of his address in the U.S.

On question C. 1 you should put an approximate date. The question says "I plan to return on or about" so it can be an estimate, it does not need to be an exact date. Even when they are deployed, they usually have estimate date to come back home.

I'm U.S. military also. I'm in Iraq also. I filed I-129f in June. I called USCIS and explained my situation. My home station is in New Mexico. but before I deployed i stopped my lease on my apartment, so I have no home address really. I was told to put an address with someone I trust that would receive my mail. I put my Mothers address in TN. All my mail goes there now, and she will foward me mail when I need it. When I return in to New Mexico and get another apartment, I will submit a change of address form. The USCIS lady told me to type a paper explaining my situation. I wrote a letter with the I-129F telling them I was in Iraq and the address is my mothers and I will submit a new address when I return. They said everything was fine. Tell your Fiance to write a letter explaining his situation and you should have no worries!

One last thing then...when they ask you your last residence for the last 5 years on form G325 (or your current address on Form 129 F) did you put your last address in the States or you address down range? Mmm...confusing!!! =D

I put my last residence for the past 5 years, I was in the U.S. then I was stationed in Japan, and now I'm back in the U.S.
He does not have to put his deployed location address on the form. it is Temporary (TDY) address and there is no need for it. Use his address in the U.S. or like I stated above...whatever address his mail goes too. be sure to have him sign and date the letter he writes explaining his situation. Good luck

From what I understood, primary proof are passport stamps and boarding passes while pics are secondary proof. Anyways, I think if you have passport stamps (where you can read the dates pretty well) and bank statements and 3/4 pics of you two together, you should be good to go...I don't think quality of the photo is very important...hope I could help! =)

Cuz that is what I understood...basicly he lived in Italy from 2003 till 2006, we were friends first and became a couple..the only thing I need to provide is just that we've beeing seeing each other withing this last 2 years right? Even if we wrote on question 18 of Form 129F that we met for the first time in 2003? OMG! So crazy ! LOLO

Anyways to get an expedite your fiance needs to call USCIS afeter you receive NOA1 and they will give him all the information about it...they will also tell him if they can approve it or not!
At the same time thou I seriuosly advice u to have a friend there that can support u trought all this.

Yes my bf is in the Army too...uff! He'll deployed for other 4 months as well! So it seems like they'll come home around the same time! YAY!!! I know how hard it is to go trought deployment...this is the second one since we got together, he already served 1 year in Afghanistan...Anyways, all I can think it's that is almost over !! =D
I say u guys should get all your paperwork together..even if it takes a month or 2 it's always better then wait other 4 motnhs....and then u should ask for a military expedite since he's deployed...we will try to get it even if we're not sure they'll give to us!!!

We got his from https://www.official....com/Index.aspx I don't know if they ship to APO addresses or Germany but you can give it a try...We are having an hard time with the paperwork as well and figured out the best option it will be for him to ship me all the paperworks here in Italy and I will ship them to California Center by UPS or FEDEX.
We fortunately have his sister that seems like avaible to help us but I know how hard it is to trust somebody else on this!We asked her to make the money order for our petitions cuz he's not able to do it in Iraq...we'll see if she'll help us out!
