Small ceremony with our parents and brothers when he comes over this year, and we have been planning a larger, traditional wedding for next summer to give all his friends and family time to plan on coming over. There was no way I was going to try and plan the wedding for this year and have to deal with the stress of not knowing when he will be here!  We r doing the same exact thing!! No big wedding till next year... Too much stress!! Our main focus right now has to be this visa thing, also ones we there getting adjusted to new country (if u r the fiancee abroad), job, house... Idk! Thats my point of view... After that we will have plenty time to celebraye big!!! So for us a small thing ones we officially get married ones i get there and the big traditional one later! USCIS Service Centers	Transferred file from vsc to Texas got touched today!!!!!!	YOU GUYS!!!  I submitted a service request about 2 weeks ago, and was getting annoyed that I hadn't heard back.  Today I got finally got a response.  This is what it said:   "On 06/12/2013, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved. On 06/25/2013, after you inquired about your I129F, we sent your approval notice to you using the most recent address we have on file. The original notice should arrive within 30 days."   So... from what I can tell, that means we got approved today!  I checked the status again on the USCIS website and it still says "initial review," but as we've all seen, they typically don't change the status or send the notification until nighttime, U.S. time.  I will post here again when I get the actual email and/or see the change on the website, but I couldn't resist posting my excitement!  I will also refrain from updating my timeline until then.  I just want to say to you all that I will NOT leave this forum until there is no transferred case left out there that hasn't been approved.  I have been down in the dumps with you guys from the start and we are all in this together.  I am so grateful to this community, and can't wait to share the rest of the journey with you!  Hey!!!!! OMG!! thats great news for you!!!! Very happy for you guys!! Everybody in here deserve it! Still not knowing anything!! Any December 17th filers recently notified of ANYTHING??? Still waiting on my NOA2. This is seriously insane.......  Seeing other filers AFTER our dates.. being approved... makes me feel unequal with other being approved. WTH...    Kari still no response? Im still waiting too (( I see other Dec 17th filers approved.. or they have received a RFE... what is up with all of this wait?  As far as digits... For them to be conparable with other peoples last digits we should be giving last 5 digits... If not it doesnt make no sence... Having in mind that first EAC1390 should be the same for everybody that turns into us having to give the whole number... And like i said i would understand if people wants to keep it in privacy... She informed me on the 19th I was sent a RFI for something she said needs clarification on the initial request form. I had an immigration Attorney complete my application and send phone records, reciepts fro our vacations together, phone records photo albums...What the hell! could the government have lost all those documents in the shuffle from VSC to TSC? I am really stressed now. I just want my fiancee here. Does anyone have experience for what they ask for typically in an RFI?   Thanks Chris Hi chris! Nothing is wrong, we're all in the same boat!  My NOA1 is December 12th, and I'm still waiting also.  Lots of us transfers are still waiting.  I don't think the NOA1 dates mean much... we've seen a lot of the January filers that were transferred getting approved, and early December filers still waiting, but by the end of this week (which will be a month since the transfer), I think they will get most, if not all, approved.  Just hang in there!  I know it's tough.  I've been walking around like a zombie the past couple weeks since we started seeing approvals... my brain and heart are just kind of on hold until we get that email.  Take a page from Strictly4theluv's book and try to stay positive Awww! So cute!! Listen!! We gotta be positive cause is the last thing left at this point... If we go down we r going to make our times appart from our fiancees even worst and miserable. We r doing things the right and legal way so is gonna be ok! Of couse this delay doesnt have no name! But hey!! Heads up! Pretty soon we will laugh at all of this!! Hugs!!! Good morning all (US time).  I had to take a 24-hour break from VJ to restore my sanity.  Strictly4theluv and Azsara, you guys are so brave for going through this process from the opposite side.  I'm the USC, and sometimes I forget how hard this will be for my fiance to leave his family, with whom he's very close.  It's great that we have people from all over the world on here, all going through the same thing.  Also, congrats to Aleksey Ksenia!  As for the rest of us, let's not lose hope.  This will be our week! USCIS Service Centers	Transferred file from vsc to Texas got touched today!!!!!!	Couldn't post it same day of APPROVAL!!! (6.21.13) I was so down that day I even stopped checking my status. So irritating to see march and april approved and mine INITIAL REVIEW.  June 21st at 10:30 I decided just to take a peak.. OMG APPROVED!!!! I could not believe it! I had to refresh the page 4 times and type in different numbers.. YES ITS APPROVED! I still feel bad though for all December guys that are not approved YET! I'm sure it will happen soon!    I still cannot believe it. I still go online to check.  One case before me (**298) gor RFE on June 18th, mine (***299) approved on June 21st around 10:30pm and (***297) still initial review.   I never got sms and I recieved email notification on my old email. I changed my email address in the system about 4 months ago and they sent notification to old one....    I hope all these bedbugs will crawl in adjudicators ears and stimulate their brain so they can approve more applicants per day!! Especcialy December and January filers, like, RIGHT NOW! Congratulations!!! I see u r a december 10th filer... I hope i get it next week also! I have the same receipt NOA2 day... Happy for you! Im also 27 and nervous about leaving my family and friends but putting a lot of trust in my fiance to look after me and to God to lead me in the right path. My family are happy for me but ill be sad to leave them. Not to mention the stress of having everything to move  - SCARY! Luckily my cat will be coming with me shes very excited!   Anyways I hope your NOA2 comes this week and we can all begin our lives with our future husband/wife! Thanks for your post! Hope my NOA2 comes soon and yours also! My family is so sad also... My dad dont even speak about it... Is like he avoids taking about it... And that sadness takes a lil bit of protagonism to the wedding... QueenofBlades, that's the same link I posted.  It does not say that the passport photos have to be American size, just that they have to have the right ratio (the head has to be a certain size, etc.).   It does say that you need 2' x 2' photos (American size) for the DS-156, meaning you need to bring them to the embassy/consulate for the interview.  Here's a VJ forum on the subject: http://www.visajourn...t-photo-for-k1/ Here visa was approved without RFE.      Strictly4theluv, you're always so positive.  I'm jealous of your optimism.  I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you guys, and for me, haha.   I think what I will do is just have him take a picture of himself and get it printed here, instead of waiting for him to mail it (just in case).  When I applied for a tourist visa to china, I spent $10 to get "passport pictures" taken by a teenager at a photo store and the Chinese embassy wouldn't accept them because the photo quality was so bad.  Then, I had a friend take my picture against a white background, uploaded it to this site to make sure the proportions were right: http://www.epassportphoto.com/ and had them printed myself, and they were accepted.  So, if anyone else is worried about it and doesn't want to wait for them to get mailed, that's another option.  Hi!! I try to ve positive, lets say i make/force myself to be positive to fight this difficult situation... One of the things that REALLY keeps me going is being able to speak with all of you guys and realizing that im not alone (even tho we r so far appart from each other: UK, Malasya, china, russia, india, italy...), so i try to transmit to everybody in here this positiveness to pay back everything you guys helped me. (and believe me: ive never ever been the kind of person to write in chats/forums, LOL) Im down a lot of times, i want to be there with my fiancee, at the same time i have my heart divided in 2 peaces for the fact that im leaving my family and friends in spain and im moving to the other side of the world where i know imma be so happy but still is so far away from all my love ones back home... Im 27 years old an im pretty attached to my mom dad brother and friends so... Oh wow! Let me stop!! Gonna make everybody in here cry! LOL well with that i just wanted to share with you guys my fellings about this whole thing... Say to you that sooner or later we will get our approvals, that IM SURE that everything is gonna be fine and that we need to think about now that we still (if you are the fiancee overseas) back home we need to enjoy our times with our family and friends and see life in a beautiful way. Is people that didnt even find their love yet, and we did! So, just feel happy, proud of yourself for going thru this being strong, confident and everything well be ok! Hugs and hope for everybody! So im in here udating website to check my case status and here it is what it says: Server is currently unavailable or down for maintenance Oh lorrrrdddd!!!! Last thing we need! LOL! hope it gets fixed pretty quick, even tho i know is nothing to check during weekends but u know i was just trying to see if magic happened... As far as pics (sek298), at first i thought the samr thing u said but then checking at that link that queenofblades pasted it made me doubt... So idk... Just in case you guys should go ahead and take the bigger ones and have them ready to send them right away after getting rfe (if u guys get it) (hope not). As i said in another post, i know a girl that had to send them back (when she thought that they did it correctly when they send them at first) and it "only" toke them 10 more days (wich right now for us it could be and eternity) to get the approval back... They were not ready for the rfe so they had to take the pics, she had to send them to her fiancee in the states and then he sent them so maybe if we are ready for the worst to happen it wont take that long... Oh well we will have to wait for the RFE!   I wont be visiting the states to take the smaller ones (so annoying) so i will need to try to find a place that does them here!   Good luck to you too! I know for a friend of mine (ive met her over here) that it toke them "only" ten days to receive the approval after they got the rfe notice... So i guess is not that bad... I just wish it takes less or they dont notice it... We toke the pics in spain and over here pasport pics are smaller... Just came back from the states to visit my fiancee so we went ahead and toke the pics at walgrens already just in case they do send the rfe we already have them to send it right away! USCIS Service Centers	Transferred file from vsc to Texas got touched today!!!!!!	Still nothing Dec 12 my I129 was received, I try to remain positive but one thing is for certain. After my approval I am going to continue to work with my senator to shine a light on the terrible process used by Immigration. Its clear VSC relocated our applications to maintain a 5 month processing time. Management probably receives a bonus based on that metric.  Hello!! Hope we getting it at the same time! December 10th! Lets keep being positive... (never said this sentence that much in my whole entire life) Im thinkin im gonna get an rfe tho... Maybe thats the reason for my delay... USCIS Service Centers	Transferred file from vsc to Texas got touched today!!!!!!	I think it's the last 5 digits that matter for most of us. Each of ours should follow this format: EAC13901xxxxx. The 1 prior to the last 5 digits varies too, but I'm not sure why or when.    Out of the 5 cases after mine two are still in initial review but transferred, two approved after transfer, and one RFE from back in April. A whole bunch before mine are already done, but they're not I-129Fs that were transferred. Before those is a slew of I-129Fs that were rejected for incorrect filing fee. Oh ok. Thats a very usefull information... Yeah, mine starts with EAC13901 also... I guess if we dont give all the last 5 numbers theres no point of trying to make it have sence... But of course i understand people just dont want to give their numer out like that right? Idk... Is just crazy! But really helpful to speak with all of you... Im typing back and forth today... Lol! Hey guys, if it helps something my reciep numer ends with the last 4 numbers: 6411 and im a december 10th... I dont even thint that numbers and receip dates follow an order... Ps; mine starts with EAC139 What is your receipt date? I think is somthing with the middle numbers that might be different... If not i dont understand anything... I was told to wait by next week.. they said by Wednesday of this upcoming week.. but I will give it up to Friday. Since we have the same dates, we both might get an approval next week. Just wait. I will post any additional info for the 12-17 filers. Keep your faith up!  December 10th! I want the approval today or next week too!!!! It just doesnt make no damn sence... Just checked the cases around mine an they are all in initial review but 2 that were approved... Like everybody says they doesnt follow any kind of orther... How many are still waiting?    I know it doesn't say sth but around my case are XXXX88-95 - 129F petitions.   XXXX88 INITIAL REVIEW XXXX89 RFE yesterday XXXX90 RFE 06/18 XXXX91 INITIAL XXXX92 MINE XXXX93 INITIAL not transferred (alien reg.no. 12/12/12) XXXX94 APPROVED 06/18 XXXX95 INITIAL         Still waiting!! December 10th!!! Just checked mines around... Some of them were not even I129F petitions and the ones that were they were still at damn initial review. 2 were approved... Idk... On Igors list you can see how many people from Visa journey got approved each day from each service center. I just looked on Igors list (VSC and TSC) and could it be that each day more than 8 ppl got approved from TSC this week? That's great!! I hope our time will come soon. I wish it was before the weekend so bad... I guess is this one u say... Cant think about the name now... To be honest with you i didnt want to do a lot of reaserch as far as approvls cause i feel a lot frustrated... What is Igors list??
