Wow First most i Thank God for is Journey mercy, And i want to Thank Every body for there lovely surport ,advice, kindnes, is Good To be home with my lovely wife to be and am so much happy , well i got very good deal from vayama for international travel.down to Detroit, even though i miss my flight i was so much happy because i knew i was home spend a night At jfk Airport But the Good thing there we both talk on the phone while i was the airport wow just like we used too but the different was i was at the door of heart just waiting for to pick me up, Am so much happy fill with joy in my heart that i was able to cross the ocean just for the woman i love so much from my heart, And if there is Another Ocean for me to cross beacuse of her i will do it more better then this time when i closed my eye's i see her Am just happy, i told God That if i make heaven the only person i will like to see beside me in heaven is my lovely wife Deshannon Am so much proud her. i which every body can come down to our weding. Thanks dwheels76 and everyone. I know I must have to use any of the 2 assigned hospitals for the medicals. I just want to run the tests independently now and have an idea what the results look like, before I go for the medicals whenever it comes up. If anything is wrong and can be treated before then, the better timewise.

I have a medical scheme which is not refundable whether or not I go to hospital. So its not like I would be wasting money pre-running the tests. I won't spend a dime on it as its my entitlement as an employee in my workplace. The essence is just to have prior knowledge before the medicals.

Thank Dwheels76. Apart from shots, what other tests do they carry out; sputum to detect what, etc? My medicals might come up around Nov/Dec depending on how fast my case moves. TSC is yet to send to NVC. But I want to be as proactive as possible. I want to use the benefits of my HMO scheme to prerun whatever required tests; sputum and all to be sure everything is okay.

If okay, works fine but if not, @least I can start treatment now and hope to be fine by the time I go for medicals. I wouldn't want to have delays for treatment purpose during medicals.

Good info as I intend to go for my PCC on Monday in Lagos. As for the medicals, what vaccines exactly are required in Nigeria. My mum confirmed I had all required shots as a baby, though the records as well as other vital docs were destroyed during a fire incident years ago.

My question is since I had the vaccines as a baby and no records to show now, do I need to take the required shots again. Then, can someone help me list out all the required shots in Nigeria, please. I would rather take the shots in a hospital under my HMO scheme and present the records during my medicals.

Any advice, please.

Medical Process while Pregnant

Hello all,

How does a pregnant lady (about 3 months) go about the medical process, considering there are some vaccines not recommended in pregnancy.

I understand the x-ray can be done with a lead cover to protect the baby. Does the lady require a written note from her OB, indicating the vaccines with contraindication or what?

Anyone with similar experience can lend voice to this, please. Looking forward to the responses.

Additional evidence at NVC stage

Hubby sent in additional evidence at NVC stage. I guess it helped cos I had my interview just this Monday, 3rd March and no document was looked at except photos. Approaching the CO, I could see that a decision must have been reached, only waiting for the interview sesssion to validate their earlier decision or change it negatively.

I think that is the situation with immigrant visas. They review ones file and form an opinion, positive or negative, the interview helps to validate their opinion either way. So I will suggest you add more evidence but dont overdo it. She should still go along with more evidence on interview day incase it is requested.

Mine was transferred on 6/21 and I've not heard anything from them. Please share your experiences.

NVC Filers - November 2013

Hello all,
We received a Checklist for I-864 on the 10th Oct and sent back immediatley. It was keyed in on the 15th. However, last week we discovered there is an omission which was not really highlighted in d checklist but for avoidance of further delay, we decided to resend it though the initial response has not been reviewed. We sent another form on the 28th October

My question is, does anyone know how NVC reviews documents. Since we have 2 seperate I-864 queued up in their system, will both files come up once the case number is keyed in. Is it possible they look at both and pick the correct one as @ the time of reviewing the one keyed in on 15th.

Saylin and any other person, what is your take on this situation. Thank you

advice needed

my wife fell of the staircase in her house and broke the bone on her left hips which was terrible and the Doctor at the hospital has immediately perform a surgery on her which was succuessful. the broken bones was replaces with a metal joint and she has no one to take care of her right there at the hospital her sister lives away too far and a friend who has being helping her wasnt stable with her due to her job.

So I will like to knw if theres a way to have Nebraska service center expedite our CR1 case so that I can go be with her and take care of her because she told me the doctor will have her go home on friday and the road for recovery is 8 to 10 month... So will it be possible to have Nebraska service center expedite our CR1 case, Our case has being with them since Novemeber and it almost 5 month now.

Any suggestions and please help with a phone number to call the USCIS For expedition
