Everything we've heard about Frankfurt is true. It was relatively easy. The queue was really long, but the interview itself was simple and short. They didn't ask to see any evidence, asked one question about my taxes (why my daughter wasn't claimed -- her dad and I switch years), how we met, had he met my family. That was it. My fiance, Jose, went into the US embassy at approximately 12:00 feeling nervous, anxious and like he wanted to vomit. Two hours later he left the embassy with a smile on his face!!!! He was approved! After knowing each other nearly 3 years he will finally have the opportunity to come to the US, meet all my friends, and we can begin building our life here together. I am at work right now and am still just sitting here....at first I was shocked, then I started crying, then I started laughing, then co-workers were giving me hugs, then I began making phone calls and now I am just sort of in a daze. This is crazy!!! I want to thank the VJ community for all the support and for answering all my random questions. A special shout out goes to the 'kid' (you know who you are). You will never know how much reassurance you and your fiance gave Jose and I! I will be posting a full review on the CR review page soon.
